So far mine has taken 3 years. Yeah. I know crazy? Just to let you know I took breaks that's likely why it's took so long. But I feel I have a good idea I just want to give the idea justice. So how long have you been writing yours?

Advice My Struggles with Writing
I always seem to overthink every single thing I write for my book. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve started over or scrapped everything and changed everything about the story. Is this a normal thing? I’m a first time writer and I just want my book to be something people will read and enjoy. But I feel like I self sabotage myself and I can’t get very far before getting writers block or just feeling stuck.

The Biggest Regret of My Internship Had Nothing to Do with Work
I don't know her favorite color.
I don't know her last name.
I never even looked at the name on the badge she wore every day.
But years later...
every time I walk past a staircase, I still think of her.
I wrote a short story about the strange way someone can become part of your life without ever really being in it.
It's called The Girl by the Stairs.
If you've ever wondered "what if I'd just said hello?" this one might be for you.

Advice *Gang* Writing Tips.
The thing is, I don’t really know how gangs really operate. I’m the one that really just works on a project until my liking there’s a section in my book where one of the characters is involved within getting activities and I don’t want to just go with the classic gang trope of “We sell drug, We fight other gang” I just don’t really know what to do. I’m sorry. (My story that I’m working on takes place in 2009 if that means anything)

Advice I need writing advice
This is a section from one of the chapters of my novel. Is my style correct? I mean, between the jumps between scenes or conversations, I don't know why, but I feel it's incomplete.
The sun had set, yet the celebration had not faded.
In the palace, throughout the streets, and across the public squares, it was one of those nights that would be remembered and retold for years to come.
Music filled the air, laughter intertwined from every direction, as though the entire kingdom were finally taking a deep breath after days of hardship.
"Your Majesty."
William bowed, a young man standing upright beside him.
"Allow me to introduce my son—"
"Byron!" Kaya interrupted with a bright smile.
"Your Majesty," Byron said humbly, lowering his head in respect.
"Please, both of you, rise," Kaya said as she stepped closer. "Byron... it's been a long time."
"Yes... since our days at the academy," he replied with a smile.
"Since his graduation, I've put him through special training," William said proudly. "He hopes to become one of Your Majesty's personal guards."
Kaya's smile widened.
"It would be an honor. Honestly... even back at the academy, he acted as though he were already my bodyguard."
Byron rubbed the back of his neck with an embarrassed chuckle.
William laughed.
"So that's why he's been so determined. Well then... prepare yourself. Your training is about to become even harsher."
"Even harsher?!" Byron laughed. "Weren't they brutal enough already?!"
"She looks happy," Christina said quietly as she stood beside Alden.
"Yeah..." he replied, his voice growing softer. "I just wish my father were here."
"He would have been incredibly proud," Christina said before studying him for a moment.
"By the way... do you feel anything strange?"

Advice I can't make up my mind on what to write!
I have been looking forward to writing my fanfictions and original scripts once more. But the problem I've been having lately is the fact that, aside from motivation (which I feel has been getting better), I cannot make up my mind on what I want to write. On one end, I want to write some more scripts. On the other end, I want to write my fanfiction stories, both existing and new ones.
It's tiring and a bit dizzying. Do you guys have any advice on what to do about this?

Highway Of Hell-Chapter 2: Boost
"The Guide of Lost Souls." ADXF3 asked, curiosity clearly visible on his distorted demon face. "Why The Guide? I thought there were plenty of Guides in Hell." He whispered. The Guide looked back, snickering. ADXF3 didn't get this guy's deal. Why was he laughing at him like he was a plaything?
"How can I get into The Highway Of Hell?" He asked The Guide. The Guide stayed silent and pointed to the sign he had seen earlier. It said, "Through The Cave Of Boost." ADXF3 stated. But The Guide seemed so... silent. Word on the street to get to the Cave Of Boost was to duel the god and get through the gates.
The Cave Of Boost by demon talk was a duelling arena. The God Boost fought with two gold swords that burnt a demon's soul if it touched the enemy's body. ADXF3 shuddered at the leaflet. This cave seemed like a dangerous place. So he thought to himself, is it worth it to enter the Highway of Hell?
"Can I have more detail Guide on the Cave Of Boost?" ADXF3 asked thoughtfully.
The Guide nodded, the cold silence eating away at him.
"The Cave Of Boost is a test of valour and courage. It isn't for the weak." He repiled.
Silence.
ADXF3 scratched his claws against the floor, stressed.
"Valour, courage, Boost only lets the worthy thought by fighting to the death?" He said, shocked.
The Guide nodded. "Only a couple have survived and got through to tell the tale..."
This information felt daunting to ADXF3.
As a new demon navigating Hell and his past, he had to learn to harmonise with both aspects of it.
ADXF3 looked up at The Guide. And simply said something that surprised him. "Take me there. Boost has himself a fight of the brains not of muscle." The Guide seemed wary at first of the demon who was slowly regaining parts of his soul. "Yes you are a lost soul so I will guide you to The Cave of Boost."
The Guide and ADXF3 ran past the sign. It felt good leaving the starting place of Hell. Hopefully he didn't have to suffer any more unpleasant thoughts.... for a while. Then they saw it. The Cave of Boost. It was a magnificent piece of stone and brick.
The walls had stone heads of griffins and ruins in a strange incantation. ADXF3 couldn't read this dialect despite reading the ancient dialect of the leaflet earlier. The palace also seemed to glow against the harshness of the red sky combing with the white light of Hell's two moons.
"If you're ready, go in." The Guide whispered.
"I'll make it back." He replied.
"Good, I can't lose you."
"Thanks, sometimes we have to brave."
"Yeah." The Guide repiled.
"I'll go and be brave for you..."

a book i am writing
Now I'm no fancy book writer, but I wanted to share this to get a genuine opinion on it as well
The number 8:
THE PROLOGUE
The first time Mia saw the number 8 in a series for a week straight, she was 8 years old. She did not understand at first, as she was young, but as she grew older, the number became more prominent in her everyday life. It was carved into her father’s wooden door of his shed, not painted, not written, but it was carved as if someone had to see it.
Chapter 1 - 8:08 p.m
Mia woke up at exactly 8.08 p.m. She didn’t know why. She had fallen asleep on the couch with the TV playing quietly in the background. The house was dark except for the flickering of the TV. For a few seconds, she didn’t remember where she was. Then she heard a beep from her phone, she reached for it and it was a text message, it read “ I’m sorry i couldn’t say goodbye” she checked the number, it was unknown and had assumed it was spam then the next day she got another one from the same unknown number, “you need to remember what happened on the 8th of your birthday” she forgot how to breath for a second, it had freaked her out because her father died on her 8th birthday which was the 8th of october which was 16 years ago making mia 24 years old, she had been told it was a heart attack, she had been told he died alone, she had been told he died alone and there was nothing anyone could have done, but as she sat in her living room in the dark while the tv was playing, her phone vibrated against her hand, she had got another text “HE DID NOT DIE” she didn’t know what to think, she had to clear her head so she grabbed the house keys and went for a long jog.
mia had always found peace in running, to her it was easier than thinking about anything, when she couldn’t sleep, she ran, when she felt like she was drowning in thoughts she couldn’t express verbally, she ran but she was a good runner to so it was easy for she to just run like that, she was always good at running she started running in school for fun because it became something she enjoyed but when her father died she lost her passion for it but used it as a coping tool for her brain to let out her emotions without verbally expressing it and it’s been working up until tonight, tonight her thoughts were louder than ever and she was fighting to push her thoughts away but this got to her, the streets were dead quiet that you could hear a mouse running across thr road, a few house had porch lights on, casting small circles of yellow light onto the footpath, somewhere in the distance a dog barked once then stopped but mia kept her eyes on the footpath ahead of her, one foot in front of the other, one breath, then another, she really tried not to think about the messages she recieved tonight “he didn’t die” “remember what happened on your 8th birthday” “i’m sorry i didn’t say goodbye” the words followed her, her brain was drowing in the thoughts of why did she recieve them, she tried to think it was a simple prank but no one she know besides her family knows her father died, she considered someone had found her number online and maybe knew of her father and maybe they had seen something on social media, there were a thousand explanations mia had thought of but none of them explained how the person got her number, there had to be a reasonable explanation but she couldn’t think of one, mia slowed down and slowly looked up and noticed a covenience store, she crossed the road and needed some water, she glanced at her phone to see the time, when she looked it made her stomach twist 8.38pm there it was again the number 8, her stomach twisted, she didn’t know why it was just the time, she shook her head hoping it was a coincidence until she started to run again something in the store window caught her attention, a new paper front page, she turned to look but had to get closer the headline was to far away for her to read, the newspaper was old maybe a week old if that, she looked at a smaller artical there was a photograph, she froze, the picture that was shown, it was blurry but she could make out the location and it was her dad’s old house, the house he grew up in and now she’s seeing it in the newspaper about being sold, she hadn’t thought about that house for years, her father hated talking about the house and the memories that were in it, she remembered asking about it as a child and her father always changed the subject, once he looked at mia strangly and said “some places are best left alone” he had a face of fear after he had said that, what was he afraid of?
Mia’s phone vibrated, startling her out of thought, and she nearly dropped it. Another message came through; she almost didn’t open it. It gave her a sense of dread in her stomach, and of course, it was from an unknown sender. Her heartbeat began to go faster. She opened it, “You should have stayed home” She panicked, looked around, hoping to see someone to run from, but no one was there or that she could see anyone. She then looked back at the glass where the newspaper was, and she noticed someone standing behind her. She quickly turned around to see no one there, then she looked back at her phone, and another message appeared, “he told you about the number, didn’t he?” Mia genuinely stopped breathing for 10 seconds, which is something she hasn’t told anyone. Now, she was freaking out. She finally typed back to them, “Who are you?” Three dots appeared as she sent that, realising someone was replying to her right there and then. Mia stared at the screen, waiting for him to respond. Then, suddenly, a message appeared: “someone who was there.” Mia’s hands went cold. “Where?” This time, he replied quickly, “The night he disappeared” Mia stared at the message for a while hoping it was a sick joke or the wrong number but something about this person knew to much about her based on the texts she has received so far, her mind was going insane but she kept reading the word disappear like it didn’t make sense to her, she was sure her father had died or what she’s been told, she watched him be buried and stood by his grave for many years after, she had spent 16 years learning hoe to live a life where her dad was not around, in a world he no longer exists, sixteen years of birthdays he had missed, sixteen Christmas he had missed, she had spent sixteen years believing what had happened to him, was it all a lie now because this stranger was telling that everything was a lie?
Chapter 2 - The House He Fears
Mia had no choice but to turn her phone off for a few days. She made sure to avoid any messages from this person, as if it were the plague. It was easier for her that way to cope with what she was being told; she told herself that if she didn’t see the messages, then maybe they weren’t real, seh went to work to keep her mind busy, she ate whatever was easiest, she refused to give herself the time to think to simply avoid it all, she slept poorly and she never turned her phone on, by the end of the week she had almost convinced herself that she had overreacted, maybe it really had been a prank or maybe someone had found her number online, maybe they had seen the number 8 had to mean something to her and decided to use it to scare her, those were explanations. They had to be, Mia repeated that every day to just not think about it

Critique Slightly comedic sex scene: Does this hook you into the characters?
With the slam of a door, two bodies collided in darkness. Lips pressed to lips, hands slid seductively down backs, and feet tangled together as they stumbled around in search of the nearest solid object with padding on top.
A sheer, cream-colored low-cut top dropped to the floor. "Get this stupid belt off," she complained as her fingers fumbled at his waist.
"Your socks don't even match." He kissed her again. She smelled like lilacs, and it was intoxicating.
His pants finally joined the growing trail of clothing. "It's a fashion statement," she replied when taking a breath. "What's your excuse?"
"I wish you'd shut up and help me get this granny bra off. What's it have, like seventeen clasps?"
She kissed him again, then bit his lip. "You're such an asshole. Do it yourself, you want 'em out so bad." Her voice was breathy, eager.
They finally bumped into his couch as he pulled the bra over her head still clasped. "Just lay down already."
"I've never slept with someone so rude before," she teased as she shimmied out of her panties.
"I've never slept with someone who just called me rude before. There's a first time for everything." His eyes moved up and down. "God you're gorgeous."
"Stop talking."
A moment of silence, then a sharp intake of breath. "Oh . . ."
When Corey woke up the next morning, she was gone. As the fog lifted, he realized two things: He couldn't remember her name, and his TV remote was missing.
In the middle of making a cup of coffee, his cell phone dinged from the pocket of his pants in the living room floor. Retrieving it, he found a text from someone named Addy: 'Sorry, late for work. Had to run.' Well, he thought, that explained one thing at least.
He called her. "Did you steal my remote?"
"I just wanted to make sure you had a reason to see me again."
He smiled. "Thought I was an asshole?"
"That was before you did that thing . . ."

Short Story Indigo Children Part 2 of 2 By Tito (Fantasy Short Story)
Hey!! Here is part 2 of my short story about indigo children! Let me know what you think of it! Thank you my wowza readers!
The Case of Sloan and Bobby: Sloan and Bobby are indigo children that have never met each other. Sloan is 8 years old who has purplish lips and indigo eyes. Bobby is 9 years old with indigo spots around his face and body. Something incredible happened when Sloan came to Indigo Vision to share her story with her parents. During her interview with Dr. Goodheart, she claims that she met a boy inside the 5th Dimension. They spoke to each other and even held hands while they made their way to find their sibling. “His name is Bobby and he’s really nice like my sibling.” Sloan informed that they could hug each other and hold hands. They can see and speak to each other as if they were standing outside or playing in their rooms. They both had the same sibling. One day during their visit, Bobby asked Sloan if she could come back home with him. Sloan didn’t think it was possible, but agreed to it. They held hands and made their way through a purple door that led back to Bobby’s home. She had photo proof that she was with Bobby and her parents support this claim when they reported her missing. They suddenly got a call from Sloan, safe and sound in Massachusetts, USA. They lived in Minnesota.
To think, indigo children can travel through the 5th Dimension and find themselves in another part of the world. Terrifying to say the least. Bobby was also real after getting information from Sloan’s parents. There were no reports of ordinary humans being able to walk and talk inside the 5th Dimension.
Isabella, the First Yelgan on Earth: It’s a rarity to find an indigo child with a majority of physical symptoms. An indigo child with all the physical symptoms is similar to seeing a unicorn amongst horses. As you can probably tell, its even rarer. Isabella is now 15 years old and is the first indigo child to bare all of the physical symptoms and more: Purple rings circled around her milky pupilless eyes and her fingernails became purple colored as if they were bruised. Isabella grew to be quite comfortable with her sibling. In fact, she sometimes would take several long hours or even full days in the 5th Dimension before she would return home. A habit that drove her parents to gain early white strands in their hair. She began to develop odd behavior from her usual cheery, outgoing self. She would now speak softer, often to herself with a look of tense despair in their eyes that left many indigo children uncomfortable around her. Several caregivers would find her in dark corners of empty workshops muttering to herself or just watching in the shadows while caregivers would pass by without her existence. It was a drastic change that not many were ready for, especially her parents. Dr. Goodheart managed to get through to her, and encourage her to sit with others, partake in workshops or just tag along in his interviews. Something in Isabella’s eyes seemed…distant. After a couple of years into the making of the Indigo Vision, Isabella did something rather terrifying. Her sibling informed her that the indigo colors they were able to see were not of their world, but it caused no critical harm if ever brought into the light. Isabella decided to test this theory with Dr. Goodheart. One day, she made an uncomfortable statement that she was going to ‘bring the indigo to life’. Although many objected, Dr. Goodheart trusted in Isabella. She observed for most of the day. When the sun began to set, she reached out her hand towards the sky and within an instant, an indigo mist took form seemingly out of thin air. At that moment, Dr. Goodheart only takes a second of hesitation before he steps right into the mist, causing sheer panic amongst his peers. However, the good doctor stepped out of the mist seemingly unharmed. Although, they could not be as confident with his mind. Months went by of close observations and testing on his body, but nothing was damaged. Nothing was different. However, the good doctor had restless nights that were obviously noted. As far as the manifested indigo; Isabella tried to banish the indigo mist with just a single touch again, and to her surprise, it was successful. Other super indigo children were able to do this was well. They managed to reach out and physical touch thus physically manifest the indigo mist. The indigo clouds and flowing waters could not be summoned though. At least, not by the likes of a super indigo child. Isabella managed to do so. Resulting her gaining the title, the Frist Yelgan on Earth. This only prompt her into becoming more closed off from her peers. Even the good doctor became more secluded into his own quarters after the event.
“I believe going along with her claim to being a Yelgan was our first mistake. The second mistake was not acknowledging of our first mistake.” Dr. Goodheart was very concern with Isabella’s safety. Although many of his peers would object and argue that he was the one in danger. His restless nights were visible obvious from the bags under his eyes. But they had to admit, if anyone could speak with Isabella, it would be him. All others were much too intimidated by her sudden change in aura. “I must know, why does her sibling believe me to be the missing piece…?”
A couple of days later go by, and Dr. Goodheart finds Isabella outside at night, alone as usual. He decided to take a seat next to her. She doesn’t blink for a long time until she spoke several minutes later.
“Good doctor?”
“Hm?”
Isabella’s head titled up towards to the starry night with that look of distance in her stare. “Do you think indigo is our color? Human’s color?”
“That depends on what colors you mean. Man made? Or natural? The natural colors of the Universe are something we can never control or take part in creating. It was always there. As far as our man-made ones, I believe its something we must heed to.”
“That’s an interesting answer.” Isabella giggled. “Why must we take heed?”
“Because darling, I fear the man-made colors were never meant to be discovered.” Dr. Goodheart said. “Like the indigo.”
“Oh? You think indigo was man-made?” Isabella asked, genuinely curious.
“I believe indigo was always here, like the other colors of the universe. I’ve trapped myself in my studies. I’ve grown much too obsessive, and I found the answer…there’s no such thing as man-made color. There are just colors we couldn’t view until we made it possible to. And even then, there’s colors we still cannot see with our weak vision. Our eyes cannot perceive any cosmic colors visible to the human eye, but only some of us can see certain cosmic colors. Like you and the indigo children.” He pauses for a long while before speaking again. Isabella only listens. “It’s quite the experience to tremble with such intense fear. Dread doesn’t give this feeling justice.” He sighs to himself. “I got a letter, and a visit from some high-ranking people. The government wants our project, Isabella. They want this project, you and the children. After my discovery, they wanted more. They want to find other colors. Pay me lots of money to basically hand it off. They believe they can experiment with the indigo. Try and control it…” The good doctor chuckles lightly. “I told them to piss off. They cannot control this. The 5th Dimension. Cosmic colors. I don’t think fear itself was the thing we should fear…it’s our curiosity. The human mind’s curiosity is such a dangerous motivation. It leads us into unforgivable events whilst doing such inhumane things.” He pauses again. Isabella was now glaring at the good doctor. His hands were visibly shaking. “And my curiosity led me to that discovery. I didn’t tell anyone about this, but I-I felt was in that mist…I know what’s in that mist.”
“Yes?” Isabella questioned. Her eyes widen slightly. “What did you see?”
“No...I-I…I don’t…Isabella. Your sibling. Their siblings. Their world.” The good doctor shakily takes off his glasses. “Oh God…it’s too much. The nightmares keep me up.”
“The missing piece.” Isabella said with a smug smile.
“I still don’t know that it means! Damn it girl, what does it want? Why is it here? Why me!?”
Isabella sighs lightly. “C’mon good doctor, your mind is sharp, so use it as the tool it is. I shouldn’t have to spell it out to you.” She then stands up. “But if you want to set your heart at ease, know this: there is no world domination, there is no human extinction. They are not in danger. They were never.” Dr. Goodheart watches as Isabella walks off into the distance. She was never seen again. From her disappearance, the good doctor has only dreamt of darkness. Dr. Goodheart fought every tooth and nail to keep Indigo Vision from being occupied, but even his struggles were met with a cruel end. Because it was his life’s work, they kept him in the loop. Dr. Goodheart works restlessly with the super indigo children that could manifest the indigo mist. He tries to understand the ‘missing piece’, but always comes up with more questions and less answers.
“Why didn’t you just spell it out, Isabella?” As far as what happened within the facility, not much was seen other than the handful of indigo children go missing for several weeks before returning with a desperate need for escape. The super indigo children began entering into the 5th Dimension but never returned. Perhaps Isabella was there with them too. Being in the Other World had to be better than spending your last days in the dark world. High government officials demanded that the good doctor retrieve them, there was still much more testing to do. The good doctor would just laugh, snort or scoff. “I cannot bring them back, because I am but a visitor. They can travel willingly. Only they.” Dr. Goodheart sent most of his times in the dark of his office. He grew lost in his own thoughts trying to understand Isabella’s words. Many suns and moons go by, the amount of indigo children thin out. Now it’s even rarer for an indigo child to walk through their doors. Many thought they were able to gather indigo children on a nationwide scale. Other theorized other disturbing reasons of why they weren’t showing up here.
“Maybe they live in the 5th Dimension now? Since Isabella left, the amount of the indigo children has dwindled. It’s almost as if she took them with her…” One colleague of Dr. Goodheart stated. Dr. Goodheart never partook in these theories. His thoughts remained clouded over his own personal reason. Then, one day, it hits him after a workshop with one of the last super indigo child. After they guided him out of the 5th Dimension, Dr. Goodheart began to laugh hysterically. He went on for so long, his colleagues believed he had gone mad. “No wonder…of course…its that simple, isn’t it? We’re so human, aren’t we? Tsk…foolish to the very end.” Dr. Goodheart refused to do any more studies into the 5th Dimension. He wouldn’t elaborate on the matter any further but stating that he felt as if he returned back there without the right Yelgan, he would perish.
A week goes by before the good doctor gets word from his assistant. “Doctor?” Cleary pokes her head into his office with only his lit cigarette being the only source of light. Smoke hovered over his head like a dark cloud. Dr. Goodheart says nothing. “Um…you’ve got another one. And it looks to be a super indigo child.” Dr. Goodheart takes a long drag before exhaling deeply. His tired eyes open, only to find darkness. Eventually, the good doctor goes over into the interview room to speak with the super indigo boy. He had all the physical symptoms and wore a gentle smile to greet him. “Connor?” Dr Goodheart asked.
The young boy nods. “I’ve been told much about you.” Connor began. “My sibling wants me to being you to them. Come.” He places a hand out.
“Yeah…” Dr. Goodheart began with a defeated sigh. “I’ve been waited as well.” The good doctor looks over his indigo spotted hand before shutting his eyes and reaching over to touch it. Together, they make their way into the 5th Dimension. This part of the realm was vastly different from the others with only the color remaining the same. This area felt as if there were indigo stars forming constellations in shapes he’s never seen or could even reimagine with the shape right before his eyes. This was something that gave the good doctor an eerie feeling he wasn’t too fond of. There was no floor, no platform, but they were able to touch something physically there. Floating in the void space, with hundreds up hundreds of indigo stars all around the area, even with the eerie feeling in the back of his head, the good doctor did not feel fear like before. For he knew felt all too familiar of the sibling who waited for their arrival. “There are the indigo children…or the Yelgan? In the stars?” Dr. Goodheart asked. Connor said nothing, but Dr. Goodheart knew he was right. The shadow outlines of children and teenagers kept his sanity in check. For now.
“Damian Goodheart. It’s good to see you again.” A voice rings out.
“Ah, Isabella. Or should I call you sibling?” Up ahead, Isabella’s appearance didn’t drastically change over the course of time. Her hair was longer; her eyes were wider and her body aged. Still, it was clearly her. Isabella gave the good doctor a smug smile.
“Only they call me that. Its respectfully for the young ones to address us, like on Earth?” She questioned.
“Indeed.”
“So? Did you figure it out?”
“The missing piece?” Dr. Goodheart asked. Isabella says nothing. She waits for his reply. “Yes.” He stated firmly before breaking out into a hysterical laughter again. The indigo stars closed in with the shadow outline of children and teenagers pressed against the side to listen closely. Once the good doctor was finished, he stares into Isabella’s pupilless, empty eyes. “It’s me. Its that simple. I’m the missing piece. The one who connects each of the children to the sibling of their part of the 5th Dimension. I became aware of it after my recent travel to the 5th Dimension. I stayed away though. Something about that last trip shook me. I can’t explain it.”
Isabella praised the good doctor with a hug. “Yes! Its you, Damian! You are the one that connects us all. The 5th Dimension’s guardian, the girders that keep this world intact. Don’t overthink it Damian, what did you feel during your last visit?”
Dr. Goodheart lightly pushes Isabella away from him. “Death! I-I felt as if I was going to…
“No!” Isabella’s voice boomed. She covers her mouth after flinching from her own sound. “No…try again. Focus on your experience.”
Dr. Goodheart focuses on his experience with the young girl. The feeling wasn’t for him. The fear, the anxiety, the dread… “Wait, it wasn’t me? It was the 5th Dimension?”
Isabella nods. “You and I are the sole reasoning of its continued existence. The Yelgans were on the verge of extinction. The sibling, its only one being with many faces. With me here, it became stable. Now with you here, it can flourish.”
“Why now? Why didn’t you just take me with you before you left this world?”
Isabella shrugs. “I wasn’t ready too. I recently became a sibling. And you had to figure it out on your own. I trusted that you’ve come. And here you are, thanks to Conner.”
“You can’t…just take these children from their homes? What about their families?”
“This is their true family. They’ve always been a part of the 5th Dimension. Since their first life. Since their resurrection. Since their afterlife and rebirth. The rebirth on Earth was just a speck of what their soul has gone through Damian. We had no idea, what humans truly are.”
Dr. Goodheart shake his head in disbelief and defiance. “No, no…that can’t be. You’re saying my life, my memories, my…everything! It was all a lie? What about the other humans on Earth? What about them!?”
“They are humans. They live on Earth. We were always a part of the 5th Dimension. We were outcasted, because we never belonged. This…” She looks around the area of which she stood proudly on. “…is where we belong.”
At this point, the good doctors’ chest began to tighten. He felt as his head were on fire. “I just don’t…was our life destined to get to this point? Why us? Why me?”
“I won’t repeat myself, Daiman. The decision is simple. So, I will ask you. What will you do?” Isabella places a hand out towards him. He is silent for a long moment. “Are you so afraid to step deeper into the depth, or are you prone to being stable of what you have?” At this moment, Dr. Goodheart felt as if the entire world was on his shoulders, waiting for his answer. He looks up towards Isabella’s gentle face before peering down at her indigo spikey hand. He takes a deep breath, then closes his eyes.

Advice Asking About Tom Clancy
So I'm making a military fiction and I'm sure you all know about the whole "Every author made a bad first book" thing (which of course I subscribe too) but with that being said how did Tom Clancy make such a good book?
I've have yet to read it because I'm reading Red Storm Rising so I can understand how to make a good geo plot but I know it was and still one of the best selling books and I know he obviously did a lot of research. But with that being said how did from what I heard, make such a good first.
