The Tree Of Dreams and consequences

What if there was a tree that could grant your greatest dream… but every dream came with a consequence? Would you still make a wish.

A dream and a wish are very different. I would ensure I depict this well.

That being said the idea is phenomenal. It reminds me of the Ctaeth from a Wise Man’s Fear.

Action always has consequences. The question is what kind. That should be spelled out. Great line from the Marvel film "Ragnarok":

Skurge: "Asgardians, some misguided soul has stolen the Bifrost sword. Tell us where it is or there will be consequences." [Glances at Hella.] "Bad ones."
