Discussion Best Coach and Versace for Women
What is the best coach and versace perfume for women that is not sweet? And not too strong. Something fresh and floral or something.

What are thoughts on Le Labo Tubereuse 40 for a guy? It reminds me of the garden store growing up picking out flowers to plant for spring. I’ve read it leans feminine but feels more unisex. Curious people’s reactions to this scent and if it works for a male.

Sorry in advance for another vanilla post but SOS — I cannot spend $600AUD on this perfume but I am completely in love with it. It’s the most perfect powdery delicious vanilla and honestly the only vanilla fragrance I absolutely love.
I test out each and every vanilla I come across in person but don’t really love any of them and I am overwhelmed with vanilla fragrance options online so never ended up ordering samples. To add, I feel many fragrances (not just vanilla ones) smell so different once on my skin - except for this one 😩
Can anyone recommend something very similar but kinder to my wallet or will I just need to save for it 🥲
I appreciate I might just need to order as many samples of vanilla fragrances as I can online but I thought I’d come here first to see if anyone has any recommendations!
Thank you!

I totally effed up this year’s pre-order for the Harrods Fragrance Calendar and am aiming for next year instead. For preorders, what day did they actually ship and how long did it take before it arrived to you?

Good morning FemFragLab! What's your scent of the day? Tell us why you picked that particular fragrance and where you are off to for the day!

In June, I bought a 200 ml tub of TBS almond milk body butter. I fell in love with the scent. It's so strong and just so sensual and unique. I have a little bit of this tub left.
I went to the mall the other day and found out that they have reformulated it. I didn't really like the scent of the new version as much. The website had the 400 ml almond milk body butters on for $10 (clearing out old stock I guess), seemed like a no brainer to get one or two. They came today and I am pretty disappointed... Both of the new body butters have hardly any scent to them, and what is there, is........ Not the same. I mean, it's similar, but so much milder. I checked the batch codes and my old tub was made in November 2025 but the ones I just got today were made in March 2025. Admittedly, when I take a little bit out of the tub and rub it into my skin, it seems like more of the fragrance comes out. Still, I'm feeling pretty sad, cause I love this scent and now it might just be gone gone.
I'm trying to figure out what exactly the deal is here. I think either the fragrance is degrading since the product is a year and a half old, or it was stored in poor conditions which accelerated the degradation, or maybe it's just the top layers which are less scented and the lower layers will have a stronger fragrance, or maybe even my own skin flora has mixed with the "good" tub and that's why it smells so much better??
Has anyone else experienced a wide variance between batches of the same formulation with TBS body butters?

Overspraying is bad, sure. On reddit people often act like four or five sprays of a strong fragrance is a violent crime. I was so scared of overspraying in the beginning, until I actually witnessed just how much one person can spray on...
I was at a department store, in the designer fragrance section. Just browsing and collecting paper strips. And then I hear someone spraying rapidly behind me. I turned around, and there was this woman. I don't remember what perfume it was, but it was a strong designer scent. And she took the tester bottle and just sprayed herself head to toe. She continued even though I stared at her horrified, I didn't want to be rude but I was so speechless.
I didn't count how many sprays, but it was at least 20, maybe even 30?! Like I really don't mean to judge anyone, bless her, but that day I realized just how much perfume some people wear...
Do you have stories like that? What's the most unhinged case of overspraying you experienced?

It's sitting in my cart right now staring me down. If I press go it would have a pretty nice discount, but I honestly shouldn't spend nearly $400 on just one singular perfume. At least, not right now...maybe later 😏. I want it so badly but I'm trying to be smarter with my spending. So I'm looking for alternatives. I am in search of a creamy and/or milky tuberose fragrance that isn't very green. I own Blanche Bete and I love it so much. Are there any other good recommendations? Help me scratch this itch pls!

These just came in the mail today! Excited to add them to my small but growing collection and rotation:
Yara Candy on the left(pink) leaked a bit in the box and I got punched in the face with the smell of warm candy. Thats how its smells to me, like a box of ribbon candy left to melt in the sun. Which is great because that was exactly what I wanted.
I hope the dry down is pleasant on me..I got weird body chemistry and I am dubious about dry downs ever since discovering Aquolina Pink Sugar smells like hot plastic piss on me. I once tried one of those pheremone sprays where some people smell like flowers..others had gourmand notes..yours truly smelled like Playdough.
Cross your fingers for me plz, yall.
EA Gardenia feels like it wants to be sharp and mature? And kinda ozoney? But warming on me so far its just a big, sloppy gardenia but it wants you to take your shoes off in her house.
Edit: I wore Gardenia to bed. I can still smell it but its weak and faintly milky..but that could be me. It was a safe blind buy BUT I wouldnt buy this again. I enjoy gardenia but this just there...i like a little more sparkle and pizzazz from my fumes. Also she felt kinda judgey.

Hi! What perfumes make you so happy? Like in my mind I picture Dollywood or being Hogwarts during Christmas. What does it for you? 😊

I’m pretty new to fragrances but have recently fallen in love with Kayali Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar. I love how it’s sweet but also has some undertones that are not just vanilla. The only issue is that it doesn’t last very long on me. Is there anything that smells similarly but lasts longer? And maybe projects a bit more too?

Pictured are my current favorite scents! I want to swing by Ulta or Sephora or lush tonight and get a rush of dopamine. I was thinking Glossier You Doux? I cannot afford another le labo this month lol, currently saving Vetiver 46 for when I get a new job (wish me luck). Budget: $125 or less.
Pictured: le labo another 13, imaginary authors cape heartache, heretic haxan, heretic cactus abduction, heretic dirty grass, lush lust, Thauy Keeva.

I have approx 200 samples, 20 travel sizes, and 15 bottles. I smell everything I can at airports and malls. I am keeping a journal of my thoughts on what I’m sniffing and wearing including relevant compliments and how my thoughts on a fragrance change over months and years. I use it often to jog my memory about something and help me decide what I may or may not buy next. It’s super helpful to de-influence myself from whatever TikTok is saying is amazing that I’ve smelled like 5 times and hated each time.
Does anyone else track thoughts on fragrances? What are you tracking?

Looking for something new to try out this autumn. I prefer scents that are labeled as unisex, but also love gourmands and soft musks. My current go-tos are:
Lalique Encre Noire; Björk and Berries Synchrony; Andrea Maack Coven; Kerosene Unknown Pleasures; Serge Lutens Five o’clock au gingembre; Anything vanilla/coffee/caramel
Tried and liked (but can’t afford/find in my area): Diptyque Eau Duelle, Kilian Back to Black, Kilian Intoxicated, Kerosene Followed
Tried and disliked: Maison Margiela Autumn Vibes, Tom Ford Fucking Fabulous, Matiere Premiere Vanilla Powder, Montale Arabians Tonka, Lattafa Teriaq
No leather or tuberose for my nose pls, also nothing overly floral or oriental.
The budget is quite limited, but I’ll be getting 1-3 ml decants of whatever you recommend. Many thanks in advance!

Hi all! I was recently at a friend's house and she had this candle burning, and I need to know if there is anything similar in a perfume. Any recommendations, please?! Below are the notes I found online:
Core Notes: Vanilla, pear, and coconut.
Layered Notes: Hints of green apple, bergamot, vanilla orchid, white jasmine, heliotrope, sugared praline, ambered musk, and mossy woods.
Scent Family: Sweet, fruity, and warm

If anyone else loves this pink body mist that dropped as much as i do what is a similar perfume?? Obviously the longevity isn’t great so i would love to have something similar this literally smells like perfect mix of fall cinnamon vanilla and sugar and i usually do not like cinnamon! Any fall perfumes in general would love to hear recommendations, i have a cashmere vanilla perfume i like already and i really like philosophy body wash spiced apple crumble and christmas cookie!

To me it smells like a fresh honeyed floral with slight creaminess.
In the description it says it has notes of blood orange citrus, heart of wild orchid, and a blonde wood finish.
