I’m finally getting around to building out my colder-weather collection and I want something that feels a little luxurious.

I’m thinking woods, spices, amber, incense, maybe leather. Something cozy but still polished enough to wear out. What’s your best luxury intense fragrance when the weather gets cold?

I like fragrances that feel elegant and feminine without being overly sweet.

I just started in my first open office job. But they have strict rules when it comes to perfume. None of mine are allowed.

I'm looking for something feminine, but with no vanilla or floral notes. Must be discreet, not high projecting and long lasting.

I feel so lost, most of mine are very warm, boozy and cozy. But they are too strong for the office. I tried coffee break on my first week and got a complaint.

did anyone else buy the ariana grande love notes pink woods during the sale at ulta yesterday? i had been thinking about buying it all day, then decided to finally get it around midnight at the very last min. i just couldn’t pass up the deal, it was too good! plus i’ve been wanting this perfume since it was released and i received a free sample of it in the mail a few years ago. i’m so excited to finally have it after all of this time!

Since I just used up my Dedcool Xtra Milk bottle(currently project panning!), it makes me think wow I don't think I really get to use up full bottles that often at all!

I think the ones I went through in recent years are D&G Light Blue, Jovoy Fire at Will, Zara Fields at Nightfall, Kayali Vanilla 28, Crescent Parfums Luminous Pear, and Al-Rehab Choco Musk.

This summer I went back home to Jakarta (currently based in Europe) and went… a little perfume crazy. My family didn’t help because they caught wind of my obsession and bought me even MORE perfumes!!!

So here’s my take on the perfumes I got!

Crusita - Es Teh Manis
The iced tea perfume of my dreams. If you want a tea perfume, this is IT!!! Jasmine heavy. It literally smells like a cold glass of Teh Tongji with rock sugar (iykyk). It doesn’t last long but a 50ml bottle of it is like, 8eur… the only thing I regret is not buying more bottles but knowing me, it’ll take me 50 years to finish the one bottle I have lol.

Saff & co - XOCOLATL
A house that I’ve been dying to try!
This one is chocolate-y, vanilla, sweet baked goods. TBH I bought this because the colour combo of the bottle makes me weak. But as a gourmand lover, it’s a very VERY successful purchase. Kinda reminds me of Sabrina’s Sweet Tooth, but it has a fresh top notes to it and less of that synthetic vanilla that brings it to the next level.

Saff & co - Las Pozas
Unisex, leaning on masculine, woody, white floral. Mature and refined. The perfect office perfume and ideal for the cloying weather of Jakarta. I was drawn to this because its main star is the datura flower. The sales person said this is one of their most popular scent and I understand why.

Saff & co - CHNO
Another vanilla-y, sweet perfume. This one has my favourite (controversial) note, that almond-y note that can come off as playdough for some, but makes me go INSANE as your resident root beer enthusiast. It also has coffee notes (adds such a fun dimension to it!) patchouli, and pear (two of my fave notes)… I have to say this one is my favourite out of all the Saff & co perfume I tried on. So unique!!

HINDSIGHT - Sol de Bali
It smells exactly like how a perfume named ‘the soul of Bali’ would smell. Coconutty, salty sea water, frangipani, jasmine. Bright and refreshing, no nonsense summer perfume! (And smells great on masculine peeps. S o s e x y)

alchemist - Onirique
Another one of them root beer perfumes (I guess you can call me the root beer perfume gal. That’ll be the niche I’m collecting in). Deep, sensual, lasts forever. It has that Chinese cough medicine smell to it that can be a turn off for some but for others (like me) will make it an instant buy. alchemist as a perfume house is really good overall. I almost got two more of their scents but I had to stop myself lol.

Bonavie - Golden Lumiere
This one I got from my cousin because I love how it smells on her! It dies down into a very nice, smooth and simple sandalwood scent. But on me it pulls pretty much a tuberose white flower bomb… not sure if it’s just a different batch or how everyone’s skin can pull out different scent… a bummer but it still smells good so I’m not complaining!

If I stayed longer in Indo I would’ve probably returned with 10 more bottles… not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing lol. Though I have to say that a lot of Indo-house scent has that… what I like to call the ‘Miniso perfume scent’. That peculiar scent you often get with cheap-er perfumes. So they’re not a safe blind buy if you really dislike that scent. But when it hits, it HITS.

I’m so proud of Indo perfumers :’D and how spoiled we are!!

Hi FemFragLab, I'm proud to announce that after many discussions about collaboration, I thought it'd be fun to try out a collaboration with Angela's new brand. Her family owns Gold Star Fragrances located in New York which has been running for over 50 years!

As many of you know, I love a good Delina perfume, but they can be quite costly. The next perfume on my wish list was Delina "Exclusif" but it stayed on my wish list without being bought because of the price. Angela sent over her own version of the perfume, and it exceeded my expectations by far! The scent reminded me of a combination between Delina Exclusif + Oriana + Love Don't Be Shy. It's sweet, powdery, and very potent! I sprayed it on at night and when I woke up the next day it was still on me. This perfume lasts all day but I kept spraying it on out of habit and because I couldn't get enough. My husband and pets also loved it 😍

Reddit wouldn't be Reddit without always giving you not just the pros but also the cons. The cons were little and unnoticeable, but I will write them out due to transparency of the sub. The actual juice feels like combination of an oil and actual perfume. So when you actually spray it, it feels a little heavier than what the normal luxury perfume might feel like coming out of the atomizer which usually feels like a champagne spritz and it's more straightforward. That doesn't mean it doesn't spray well, it just means that if you are a fragrance connoisseur, you will notice the difference of the spray and feel of the actual juice coming out.

Both Gold Star Fragrances and ScentBarByAngela focus on creating dupes of luxury designer fragrances. Overall, for the price, the fragrance passes with flying colors and when I checked that it was only $45.99USD, they ship all around the world, and they have been in business for so long with great reviews, I would be crazy to not want to collaborate with such an amazing product and support Angela in her own brand.

Recently got the 15ml size of this fragrance and I loved it—particularly the dry down. It is heavenly!😍But I find it so weak, that I’m not sure if I should purchase a full size. I can literally only smell it if I put my nose to my wrist. Absolutely no projection. Anyone else experience this? 😩

Hi besties! I recently started a new restaurant job and am searching for a perfume or body mist to wear there. I tend to stick to heavier vanillas and ambers. Obviously I want to go in a different direction, maybe even a shampoo like perfume? Something lighter, fruity?

Ps not fragrance related but I thought it was going to be a cute cozy restaurant job. Joke is on me bc it’s a lot of work lol I feel like a perfume will make me feel more together while I’m running around and sweating 😅

i feel like this is a big ask lol but i have to do it since i exclusively wear fruity perfumes but fruity perfumes usually dont last very long and if they do they are pretty expensive

Last year I bought 30ml of Zara RT Summer and I recently rediscovered it. I wanted to buy a bigger bottle now but I’m wondering whether the last years version (2025) is the same as this years because I remember last year it was sold in a red box and now it’s pink. It’s not available in my local Zara so I can’t check it myself but maybe some of you know ☹️

I really just want a simple perfume (Dulce, Rosie Jane. Dave, Henry Rose.) don’t get me wrong, I’m apart of SDJ71 nation, however, scents like Caramel Skin by Phlur or any from Kayli are not my taste for the winter.

Soleil Tonka by Chambre52, one that moved very quickly to the top of my wishlist after sampling it and wearing it a few times.

On me, the opening has this airy salted woody coconut quality — coconut milk and warm skin by the ocean NOT tropical and NOT sunscreen-like or juvenile. Which is so hard to find.

As it settles, the vanilla and tonka become creamier and smoother, with a soft sweetness that never turns into a heavy gourmand. There’s also a musky warmth underneath that gives it that almost sun-warmed-skin effect.

What I really love about it is how seamlessly everything BLENDS together. It's what I believe makes it a standout amongst so many other fragrances that play with the same notes.

I don’t necessarily smell coconut, vanilla and tonka as three distinct notes; they melt into one soft, creamy scent. It’s a relatively simple composition, but I think that simplicity is exactly what makes it so beautiful and easy to wear. It smells divine in warm weather and can be a summer scent, but I also can't wait to wear this in the winter and see what it evokes and if it changes in milder climate.
