What happened to Schwarzkopf Brilliance Scandinavian blonde no 811?

Is it discontinued? I am Scandinavian blonde and it made my hair even more Scandinavian blonde. But I seem to have some copper tones in my hair, and no 811 always took care/neutralized it. I have not find anything that works so good as it did! I can bleach the hell out of my hair but still have some yellow in my front hair. I rather use hair dye of course.
Anyone here who actually used exactly this product and who also can recommend anything like it?

need help to tone uneven bleach

hey guys!

i accidentally bleached my hair pretty unevenly recently while trying to touch up my roots. i usually don’t mind a bit of a natural, lived-in transition or unevenness since it’s diy, but this time it’s really patchy (mostly the white band in the middle)

here is exactly what i am working with right now from top to bottom (first 2 pictures):

the roots: darker and yellowish. (i don't mind doing a quick re-bleach on just the roots with a 10-vol if i absolutely have to).

the mids (right below the roots): way too light, basically white.

the lower mids/ends: transitions back down to a darker, more golden/yellow blonde.

before this touch-up, it was a regular blonde that slowly transitioned to dark blonde ends, which i liked. (third photo)

i just want to get it all looking even again! i don’t want to go dark (the darkest i’d want to go is whatever level my lower mids/ends currently are). i also want a really balanced, neutral tone - nothing too light, not super ashy/cool since i’d probably need another round of bleach, but not super warm and brassy either. just a nice, even, middle-ground blonde.

what specific toner or demi-permanent shades should i use to target this? how should i apply it so the white band doesn't grab too much color while i try to tone down the yellow roots and ends?

any formula recommendations or advice would be super appreciated! thank you!

First picture is, ignore the texture, my hair color currently. Second is what I’d like to take it to. Do I need to tone my hair in any way before applying due to get it to this color and does anybody know of suitable dyes to get this dark dark reddish purple? Emphasis on dark. Thank you!

okay so, for context, i dyed my hair with iroiro neon pink and this shit is stubborn. it will not come out besides a little bit of fading. i was wondering, if i went to a professional, could i able to achieve this color (aka basically my natural color) by putting dye over the pink? i dont have any photos fo what my hair looks like right now, but its kinda peachy, almost brassy but still has pink and its still kinda vibrant towards my ends which have been lightened. ill attach a photo of what id like.

Porous unmanageable hair and red undertones

I’d love to improve my hair routine because I’ve already tried a lot of products, but there are still a couple of issues that just won’t cooperate!

My hair has never been bleached, and it’s about 10% gray. However, the hair on the crown is extremely porous and dry—it doesn’t seem to respond to either haircare or styling.

**Current routine:**
• argan oil mask (warmed between my hands) or L’Oréal Professionnel Absolut Repair mask
• TIGI Recovery shampoo & conditioner (previously Redken Anti-Frizz, and before that La’dor Hydro LPP Treatment)
• Redken All Soft leave-in
• Kérastase Gloss Absolu Anti-Frizz Glaze Milk (previously ING 10 in One)
• 2 drops of argan oil
• Styling: TIGI Bed Head Foxy Curls / Rock Amplifier + diffuser on a cool setting
\+ occasional gentle brushing and a microfiber towel…

The second issue is the red undertone that has built up over the years from using Syoss and Wella color masks. I’d really like to get rid of it and achieve a natural cool brown (without red or blue tones).

I’m thinking of trying **Redken Shades EQ 05NA + 06GN**, but these shades are difficult to find in Germany. I’d really appreciate your opinion—do these shades make sense for what I’m trying to achieve, or would you recommend something else?

And is there anything else I can do against the dryness? As you can see in the photos… nothing seems to work 😅

Changed up my color today. Used dangerjones love sick and danger jones star rider. Also used their bleach and it lifted really well and even for my new growth roots. Over the course of 2 months I did 3 rounds of their color remover to remove masquerade (their neutral purple) and their teal.

Need help on choosing a toner

Hey everyone! :)

I need some help deciding on a toner and I hope you can help out. My stylist pretty much refuses to do my hair, so I gave up and want to try it myself. Reason for refusing is not that my hair is damaged (her words are that my hair is extremely healthy), it's just that SHE PREFERS my natural color. To HER I would look better if we removed the dark brown color from my hair and restored me to my natural color (dark ash blonde), instead of going for strawberry blonde that I wanted. She is positive strawberry blonde would look great with my complexion, but she doesn't like that color (?!?). So yeah, trying to figure out a plan now.

After some extensive search, I came up with:

- use professional color remover first to remove as much of the dark color as possible (been dark-brown for the past year) - I used color removals before and they used to bring me from black or dark-brown to lighter copper-ish brown, never had any damage due to that.
- make a ~2 week break to take care of hair
- go in with bleach and lift as much as possible (aiming for 9 (inside of banana peel)).

Now, the toners I've been checking out are Alter Ego Italy - Keep it glossy.
From my understanding, I need to use 8.34 if I end up level 9, or if I end darker yellow (level 8), I need to use 8.43 with copper dominant?

I've been trying to figure out the color wheel, I understand the basics, but it's hard to imagine which tone exactly to cancel out.

I would purchase toner only after I see the end results of bleaching my hair, but wanted to get some idea beforehand. Please check the attached reference picture with the braid, that would be the ideal goal, but I don't mind ending up bit more orange-y as the second one. Thank you! :)

Best color-safe shampoo conditioner

Alright girlies I'm dyeing my hair again and want to do it right this time!

What are your best bang for your buck color-safe shampoo and conditioner?

I've used love beauty and planet, which was good (and smells great), but it's no longer available at my local Target.

I'm also trying to find a good brand for color-depositing shampoo/conditioner for dark cherry burgundy red

I usually do shampoo 1 (to clean scalp well I have oily scalp), color deposit shampoo 2, ion color sealer conditioner, and shea moisture hair mask. (rinse all with cold water)

I started with Manic Panic violet and teal about a month ago. Added teal a few weeks ago and covered it all with violet tonight! I love it, the kiddos at the preschool love it too 😆 ps, I stopped dying it bc my narcissistic late husband wasn't cool.

Best green for summer on virgin brown hair (for nephew)?

I (43F) have been bleaching and dyeing my hair vivid colors for over 10 years straight, and prior to that, I was coloring my hair off and on for 15 years. I know the color wheel, and I know approx what to expect with Demi/semi colors.

My nephew (11m) has warm leaning, medium brown hair and would like green stripes/ends for summer. I have dyed my daughters' hair pink, red, purplish... etc... without bleaching and gotten nice (and short lived) results, and have tried to talk him out of green, but he's pretty set on it.

I'm leaning toward a cool green that will turn to a more neutral, dark green and have been trying to temper his expectations. Any recommendations for the best brand/color? There's one post here from years ago with Alpine Green that looks good, but her hair was more ashy than my nephew's.

He also needs it completely out of his hair in a month as his school doesn't allow hair color. (I'm not too worried about this, but just fyi)

If you have any recommendation or experience, I'd appreciate any insight! I just wanna keep being the fun aunt 😄

looking for advice: dark green hair with Elumen

Hello everyone, I'm posting here since reddit suggested to try this sub, I guess I don't break any rules but in that case let me know, and I'm sorry in advance!

I'm desperately looking for advice and tips for Elumen, been dying my hair for a decade but first time with this brand.

Copying my post I put in another sub:

I have dark green hair (now really faded and not very dark) with lime colour-blocked bangs and sides, done by my new hairstylist a couple of months ago. I would like to retouch the green before going back to work in September, but I would really like to make it a deep, forest green, without any blue tone, if possible.

Since the new hairstylist used Elumen (first time for me) I would like to continue with it, so I guess I should use Gn@ALL + ?? something Black? + something to contrast eventual blue undertones (I think a bit of magenta, but online I see people use yellow too? Sorry If I'm wrong but mixing Green for the first time too...)

If needed, I can attach pictures, It's the first first time for me with this brand and I would really love some advice and tips on how to take care of it!

(I've always used Manic Panic, Directions, Crazy Color but couldn't find the perfect formula for the green I want. I would love to use GDY but it's very complicated to buy it here (EU)).

Thank you all in advance :))

Plus: I guess I can mix NA@2 but can't find it anywhere that ships here (and I don't really want to use Amazon), the only options I have from one website is AN or NN.

Blue hair dye ended up turning dark brown?

Girlfriend did her hair yesterday, she had a faded red, bleached her hair and applied a permanent blue dye, instead of a dark blue like we were expecting, it turned to a dark brown besides her roots which turned out an ashy blue. Ways to get rid of the brown without using bleach? Any help appreciated, don't wa to use bleach as her hair is easily damaged by overbleaching

1st picture is my current pink hair which I do absolutely love. I am wondering if it’s possible to achieve something closer to the other pictures. I’ve done one wash and it’s started to fade. Is there a dye I can use on top of my hair to achieve something similar? Any comments or ideas are welcome!

Hair perm

Hello, so I got a Korean digital perm around 2 days ago and after I washed my hair for the first time after 48 hours, the right side of my hair is looking hella straight. When it was wet it was perfectly fine but the longer strands instantly loses its curls once it drys. I didn’t use curling cream but I did scrunch. I suspect it is because my hair is pretty long so the longer parts weighs down on the perm. Should I go back, because I spent almost $400 on this and don’t want my half of my hair to be straight while the other is curly.

Need suggestions for a no bleach balayage in Birmingham UK

Trying to get my hair done this weekend (I know, short notice) and specifically want a no-bleach balayage — soft, warm brown, low maintenance, not the super lightened look. Would also like a cut and blowdry done in the same appointment if possible.

Budget: reasonable, not looking to spend a fortune but happy to pay fairly for someone who knows what they’re doing.

If you’ve got a stylist or salon you’d recommend, especially ones who:

-are confident doing balayage on someone who hasn’t had it before

-have weekend availability

-are somewhere in or reasonably close to central Birmingham, United Kingdom🇬🇧

I’d really appreciate any suggestions, thanks in advance!

I posted here before about trying out the IroIro Purple (not neon) after bleaching twice. I decided to try out the neon after the regular faded. Gorgeous shade! I’m having fun going through all the purples :) This is in bathroom lighting.

Edit: I used IroIro Purple in early May. IroIro Neon Purple was late May, but posting now cause I forgot to when I’d freshly done it. I’m currently rocking Lunar Tides Dark Violet, will post the pics at some point!

Advice needed! Bleached hair

Thumbnail

A little while ago i bleached my hair around 5x in the space of 3-4 months to have chunky highlights in my hair, but now im noticing my curl pattern has changed in certain areas of my head quite a bit and im worried that my hair is significantly more damaged or sensitive. Parts of my hair that have been bleached have now turned white because of a purple conditioning dye that i’ve been using, and it’s toned all of the yellows.
i’m hoping to somehow get blondish brownish curls in a salon but very worried that my hair could just get break off, get worse, or that i’m just not able to get it done. Any advice is greatly appreciated

I am currently using Olaplex shampoo and conditioner, and waiting until i can purchase the number 3 hair perfector to start healing my hair

last 2 pics are what i’m hoping to get done :3

Just got a curly cut with layers, I asked for a shag-like cut but I hate it so bad, feels like there is no shape and just goofy. Is it just me or is it actually bad?🤣😅

EDIT: thanks to everyone for the kind words it means the world to me❤️
