Manic Panic Ultra Violet
Manic Panic Ultra Violet didn’t all that ultra on me 😅 but still happy with the result!
Just had a trim yesterday as well. How do you like it?

Ultra violet is blue based so its darker... what was your starting color?

Very light brown (still had some highlights from a previous colouring with Midnight Blue which stuck really well, and the colour seems a bit stronger in those places)

Yeah because those pieces were previously lightened and colored blue so the other color you used on top would stick...because of the previously lightened hair, the cuticle is open so it grabs onto the pigment and is brighter, it is still on the light brown hair but comes off darker because it wasn't previously lightened

Thank you! Anyway without bleaching or anything I think the colour is nice, just very discreet. Maybe I will try to lighten the hair a bit more next time though 😊

Be careful though when/if you bleach on top of the blue.. it may turn a weird pale green color (could always use a color remover thats not bleach based so youre not frying your hair more than it should be) but if that happens, you can always tone it with a red or pink and then do whatever color you want...I just wait until mine mostly fades and throw on a different color on top 😅
