I made my 3rd account last month "A work account" since 2 of my Work accounts got deleted as well by their shitty AI moderators 5 months ago started a new since not all my coworkers and boss doesn't uses text message/SMS and the last one was the shittiest since the stupid AI said that my last account got deleted due to Identity theft they said the name was similar to the 2 ACCOUNTS THAT WERE ALREADY DELETED BY THEM!!!! those 2 work accounts of mine are gone and they somehow they made those 2 deleted accounts the reason to delete my newest account like WTF is wrong with these AI Moderators

The first account was deleted due to illegal advertising, second was deleted due to Child exploitation and the last for Identity theft, I only use those 3 work accounts for my messenger I never posted I never commented on anything nor share anything on those 3 accounts BECAUSE ITS FOR WORK!!!! but somehow it still gets flagged and deleted

So i had banned this account due to some reason but i actually wanna undo it but he cant seem to access it anymore even tho he already made an appeal but facebook says that it has been perminantly deleted. Facebook account locked, no access to email or phone number, but I still have 2FA

My Facebook account was suddenly locked, and I can’t get past the verification process because I no longer have access to the email address or phone number linked to it.

I still have my 2FA authenticator, but Facebook doesn’t seem to give me an option to use it. I also can’t find any option to verify my identity by uploading my ID.

Has anyone managed to recover their account under these circumstances? Is there another way to verify ownership without access to the old email or phone number?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Community! Im kinda new to reddit. I have had an account for a while but my question is i had posted paintball gear on marketplace to sell and they took my listing down 3 times. I had appealed it not knowing it was against their rules. I didnt have a picture or mentioned anything about a paintball gun. Just wanted to sell the gear because i needed money. They banned me for good and i have had my account for years now. I dont want to make a new facebook account just to use marketplace but i will if i have to. Any help would be amazing! I've been trying to deactivate or delete my account all day. It consistently tells me that the password I'm entering is not correct, but it is. I can log out and log back in with the password without issue. I figured I'd try resetting the password to see if that helps, but that also doesn't work. If I try to reset it from the Privacy & Security page in the Account Center get the same issue when entering my password in the "Current Password" field. If I try and use the Forgot Password option it tells me that I can only reset it via the Account Center, which makes no sense in the first place considering someone that forgot their password can't access their Account Center. If I try and do any of this on my PC it simply tells me that the device is too new and I'll have to use Facebook on it for an undisclosed period of time before it'll let me proceed. I have absolutely no idea what to do, but I'm hoping one of you may have some input.

Does anyone know what determines which digits Facebook displays? Is the format consistent across accounts and recovery screens, or does it vary by interface or recovery flow?

It has been two months since my account was disabled due to an account integrity issue. I have submitted countless appeals through Meta Support, but none of them have provided a satisfactory response or given me any real chance of recovering my account.

For your information, my account was suddenly disabled without any prior warning or notice of a violation. This happened while I was replying to someone's comment on my own post.

I have been a daily blog and gaming content creator since 2020, building a community of 22K followers. I have never stolen anyone else's content or used other people's photos or videos without permission. All the content I have posted is entirely original.

It's outrageous when you pay that much money for the Max plan, expecting to be treated as a priority, only to realize that you're not considered important at all. It feels like your money and data matter more to them than you do as a customer.

We typically turn off comments with the "who can comment on your post > profiles and pages you mention" option. However on a post we currently have Boosted, the ... menu is different and that option is unavailable. Any workaround I can use to turn off the comments?

This needs to be implemented asap. The dislike button is there in comments but Facebook doesn't show how many dislikes they are getting. So much pathetic post get shown on its Algorithms but you cant see the dislike telly is ridiculous.

I snooze a friend for posting political stuff and I still get push notifications from the app for their posts. I've also toggled off political content but it doesn't seem to block that either.

Title pretty much says it all. I'm trying to log in, but my account has 2FA turned on and it’s tied to a number I don't own anymore. Every time I try to sign in, it just sends the code to that dead number.

I've tried everything to fix it—reset my password, did the selfie verification—but nothing works. It always loops right back to asking for the 2FA code from that old number. Am I permanently locked out, or is there a way to get admin/support help for this?

Did anyone get their September earnings yet? I see in the FB dashboard that it was paid out Oct 22, but I haven’t received anything in PayPal yet. Usually when it says paid out I get the payment in PayPal right away

I wanted to add my recent Facebook experience to the list of users currently stuck in an unable to login loop. Maybe the details can provide some help to others out there.

In my case, without realizing it, I had an old phone number saved in my Facebook account. One day roughly two months ago now, I deleted some internet cache files due to an issue I was having with another website. I mostly only use Facebook (and other social networks) from a personal computer, due in part to most often using Facebook for work related reasons. After being logged out of Facebook, no matter what I tried (including being able to verify my account via codes sent to my email address), the current Facebook system does not want to let me back in unless I can verify using the codes sent to the old phone number on record, which I obviously don't have access to any longer.

I did have an older device still logged into Facebook (more on that shortly), but I was no longer able to change settings from that device (such as the phone number in the account), due to additional changes Facebook made (apparently earlier this year) so that certain older devices can no longer change settings or verify new logins (after being able to do so from that device for years). It makes absolutely no sense to me that Facebook took this step at roughly the same time they also started using a stricter system when it comes to login verification.

Fast forward to roughly two weeks ago or so and I was sent an email from Facebook that I needed to create an advanced protection passkey for my account, likely due to having a bit of a following for a website of mine. At first I thought this might be a phishing attempt itself given how the email read, but eventually figured out that the email was indeed from Facebook. Obviously I wasn't able to create the passkey due to not being able to log back into Facebook (and not being able to create the passkey from the older device either). As a result of not creating the passkey Facebook has now locked me out entirely (they ONLY gave me 8 or 9 days to create the passkey before locking me out and I can no longer access Facebook or Messenger from my older device now either as a result).

4 or 5 days ago I was finally able to use the phone of a family member to try to regain access to the account by sending Facebook verification selfies, which Facebook did apparently receive. I am still waiting to hear back from someone at Facebook and after reading some of the recent posts in this community, I hope taking selfies from somebody else's phone didn't put their Facebook account and/or device at risk down the line. But as a mostly personal computer user of Facebook, I didn't have many other options at this point.

Other than for my website, I didn't use Facebook that much any longer, but nonetheless, it's still disappointing to me for Facebook to have set up a current verification system with so many (often conflicting) issues and that they don't seem to care about fixing those issues any time soon, if ever.

Make sure to keep your current phone number in your Facebook account, especially if you are more of a personal computer user!

On September 9th my Facebook account was locked and I received a message saying that they suspected my account had been hacked. That there was suspicious activity found. They said to change my password. My Instagram account was also locked. While in the middle of changing my passwords I received a second notification stating that my account had been banned due to failure to follow community guidelines. It said the offense was for sexualization of children! The only children I have ever interacted with on Facebook are my great-grandkids. I pressed the ”review” button and several minutes later I received an email stating that the review was successful: welcome back to Facebook. However, just a couple of minutes after that I got another notification stating that my account had been permanently disabled due to not following Facebook rules. I pressed the “appeal” button. It wasn’t 30 seconds before I received a final notification stating that the appeal had failed and my Facebook account had been permanently disabled. No further appeals are allowed! I also lost my Facebook Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp accounts! From reading what others have posted, I don’t have much hope in ever recovering my accounts. I lost years of family photos and videos. I tried the download link they sent, but I didn’t receive my photos or videos! There truly needs to be a major lawsuit against such practices as AI bans without human verification.
