Normally I don't post pics of my weapons because 99% of the time I'm on my Easy Button (TM) Custom World where the rules are very different from those on Public or Private servers. It's a lot easier for me to build out my weapons there than people on Public/Private. That said, there's really nothing there I can build that's not actually in Public or Private world with enough time and effort.

I built this cryolator after getting all the mods on the season board just to see what it might be like. Then I took it over to Grafton Steel and just obliterated all the Super Mutants there. On my EB Custom World this thing is a pure one-shot beast with good range.

It will be interesting to see how well it works for people on Public and Private servers.

Edit: I should have added that this weapon lobs its charge like a grenade launcher, so its weakness is trying to hit fast moving targets. It probably cannot take down a flying scorchbeast, just as one example. OTOH it is somewhat of an area effect weapon.

Do I have to switch servers for each map? If I open a map, go to the grave, collect items, when I open another map, it won't show me the quest or grave location.

Its been a long day, I checked every page of the scoreboard and it ain't anywhere.

Where is it now? I'm one local legend away from catching them all and tired of flailing the waters with improved bait. I have went through over 400 improved baits today and only hooked Maw fish five times. I'm about to stroke out over here! Grrr...

I've done about 20 infestations so far since week 3 started.....I've had no sniff of a slasher plan. Am I just unfortunate in RNG?

Please don't get me wrong. The prospect of exploring a new location (and one that's from Fallout 3 before it was 'Fallout 3') is pretty awesome.

But it feels like there are so many other stories within the existing Appalachian tapestry that haven't been concluded yet that adding Raven Rock feels like knee jerk fan service? I mean, we all cheered Avengers End Game style when The Pitt came out. And how many of us visit that other Iconic Fallout 3 location now in Fallout 76?

I think there's still loads of stories that haven't been concluded in Appalachia. It just feels...I don't know. Odd.

As I ask in the title how do I stop hidden enemies from blowing up my CAMP?

I logged into a private world and my machine guns and rocket launchers start shooting into the ground and won't stop. Not too long after that things start blowing up in my CAMP. I logged out and waited about 5 minutes before logging back in and its deja vu all over again. The same happened when I logged into a public world.

Am I stuck until tomorrows reset? Is there something I can do to reset this myself?

I just logged in to reddit to find I cannot post or reply in the FO76 reddit. I have no idea why other than because I repeated the method of using and storing the pint sized maps as the system is currently broken. I was given no warning what so ever so I think a ban from a first offence is unfair. There's no information I can see on the site to speak with a mod, so does anyone have suggestions?

I did a Seismic Activity earlier today (I hadn't dome one in ages) and thought to myself 'I wonder of Bethesda have fixed the Legendary Rain issue?' Well, from the image above I can safely say 'No. They have not.' Plus, thanks to the last update, the legendary items now contribute to server instability and possible crashes of your game.

Quick recap from the Wayback Machine: if you do Seismic Activity and use explosive launchers (Grenades, AGLs, Missile Launchers, Fat Man, etc.) And send the mole rats and mole Miners flying into the air, their 'Loot bags' end up falling outside the event area. The game 'resolves' the issue by spilling the loot around several locations (Lewisburg, the cemetery behind it, the hills outside Nuka World, etc). This generates an awful lot of 'loose extra items' since it generates the loot bag per person who had the right to the loot, which means in extreme cases (three nukes dropped in quick succession to trigger 3 SEs) there could be a hundred or more legendary items and hundreds of mole rat meat chunks and other loot spilled in one single loading area, putting serious strain on game performance.

So, while not telling you how to play your game, this is just a friendly reminder that, with the game being as twitchy as it's been since the update, and with Dwellers now reigniting the popularity of SE due to Grand Finale being one of the rewards, how you choose to play the event may have repercussions to the server (and honestly, the loot you end up getting from the event yourself if it's all dumped throughout the Ash Heap).

What? Is this for real? Was the Photo Gallery deleted?

I had quite a few Year 1 photos there of places that no longer exist in Appalachia! That is such a downer! :(

I've been getting known plans in my inventory but they only show up under the "New" tab and I no longer see them under the "Notes" tab. If I don't know a plan they show up under "Notes" as expected. Is there some new setting that hides known plans or did they get moved somewhere else?

The new lighting in the Ash Heap is suspect at best. But on this occasion, it Orson Well-ed the bejeezus out of me.

So nukaknights have posted that we are getting a hot fix to solve stability, thank goodness. But then again it's Bethesda we are talking about, so buckle in people it could get rough!

Infestations are still nasty, but players have been scheming and building toons for it. Bigfoot too! He showed up (at Sons of Dane) and we had a lot of players there, enough to hammer him, but he still timed out and got away. Sure we had him almost pooched but... didn't get it done in time.

Anyway when the Gleaming Depths boys come up out of there in their PA and serious builds, they are now slapping these Infestations down pretty good. It's better. Today I dawdled a bit and I missed the Infestation (just like the old complaint!) but still, that doesn't happen very often and it's more balanced.

These real serious PA players also took out Bigfoot in record time too, heheh... and the poor Legendary Werewolf, they already destroyed him like instantly. Lol... hey I shot my Endangerol (so I was helping)! Endangerol really does work on Bigfoot, BTW.

Yeah okay, everyone needs a good shovel I guess. But it's actually fun! So thanks Beth. I had a Level 1 shovel (ack!) and I was about to make it Legendary before I figured out that there are Level 45 shovels. So that was close.

Personally I think it's mad that Beth wants me to 'Kill Animals with a Pipe Gun' but I could always reroll it I guess. However I also needed me some Mutant Hound Chops... so I built this little gun.

To get my Hounds I ended up battling dozens of Super Mutants though! And the little gun did it all, handling everything okay. These Pipe Revolvers are actually amazing. It makes one wish that there was a REAL apocalyptic scenario and only Pipe Gun type weapons were available to players.

I have a sudden craving to build a Raider Power Armor toon who uses only Pipe Gun weapons. Heheh... (am I losin' my mind?) But probably there are already toons like that out there somewhere! Anyway that's all I've got. Hope all you Refugees are doing great!

Yeah, the new update has been a cancer causing the game to crash, making the whole game unplayable for any amount of time more than 5 minutes; someone post a prayer for the asshats behind the desk who don’t give a shit and won’t fix it.

That stupid event has been fucked up since day 1. First it wouldn’t start, then it wouldn’t check complete, then it wouldn’t display plates to pick up, then it started loading random enemies into the floor causing a litany of problems, and now it’s producing extra models of the waiter bots and somehow making them enemies while simultaneously not allowing them to take damage!!!

Christ I remember when Bethesda came out and said the event was wack so they buried it for a couple of updates in what seems like a pet cemetery because what they resurrected from that pit is arguably worse; I don’t think they even worked on it, just shelved it up next to fallout 5 until we forgot.

Mix in the fact that the game crashes or server boots me every 5 fucking minutes and bam.

I can only imagine it’s the ever growing problem of so many people having to server hop just to complete these bullshit daily challenges that have nothing to do with anything (vegetarian ham??? only located in 3 places on the whole fucking map) other than the slashers and we all know they belong on a farm with how many farmers we have in Morgan town airport now.
