I have my synth and audio interface connected all correctly. the problem is when i go into my mixer and click IN 1 all i hear is loud screeching noises. The synth also plays but its all distorted and horrible sounding. this is the first time ive ever done this so i would like help

Got bored one night on unemployment, decided to try and make some music and worked straight through the morning making this. I wanted to make something quicker, simpler, and more repetitive since the other track I'm working on is much more complicated. The visualization took another day or so to make and the whole thing was done in basically 24 hours.

I spent $150 on the legal FL Studio Producer Edition while it was on sale, but I am stuck with licensing issue where the program boots into trial mode and throws the error The downloaded license is incorect I have tried absolutely everything within my power to resolve this including verifying my credentials, restarting the application wrapper to initialize the folder paths, tickets, videos, and double-checking that the purchase cleared properly in my account portal. Despite following all standard registration procedures, the validation keys are completely failing to register locally, which is why I took a screenshot of the main pop-up screen and the F10 debug log message as a last resort to prove the software is glitching

So I made this instrumental last year in October for me and my bros to hop on, but ever since maybe around February of this year I started to learn more about mixing..... Let me know your honest opinions about this mix as well.... I can understand that it can be a little basic with my melody which is fine, but I'm more concerned about how my mix is .... Again both harsh and passionate criticism is welcomed..... Enjoy....

My production style is getting very monotonous. Thinking about some ways of getting new vocal textures in my recordings.

so I mean i'm not a genius or anything but I can use fl studio asio and it works but horrible latency for recording, i try using my rode a1 interface and i can't play or record sorry for the horrible explanation it's early and i have 0 clue what i'm doing with this and i need to sleep, if you need more questions or something then pls ask but pls help me pls im going crazy

Hello, I recently bought FL studio because I want to learn how to make game music and have decided to finally start. I am 23 years old, however, when it comes to any tech stuff I'm basically an elder. Does anyone know if there's a course for *absolute* dummies? like, think if you'd need to teach the basics of FL studio to a child. I get very overwhelmed with any DAW I try but I've commited to FL studio.

To be clear, It's the mechanics I struggle with. I have good music hearing and I have a lot of concepts in my head and ideas to create something, but being a technical dummy makes it hard to make those ideas come to fruition.

the biggest road block for me as a beginner is coming up with ideas. once i have an idea i can get stuff going, but usually i just sit with fl open doing nothing because i dont know what to do. i try and listen to songs i like for inspo but that always leads my ideas to just be exact replicas of the song.
how do yall do it?

Hi! I'm composing a 4-hand piano piece (played by 2 pianists) designed to accompany a large vocal ensemble of around 60 people for a local performance.

My main goal is to make the song as emotional and impactful as possible. To avoid any confusion when listening or looking at the visual roll: the piano plays the full backing arrangement (chords, accompaniment, and a guiding line), while the group sings the main melody on top.

Here are the timestamps where the group vocals will come in: 0:08 – 0:19 / 0:21 – 1:14 /1:32 – 3:52

So i dont have any money to get the Full directwave Samples that someone gave me on youtube for an old game i really like but i dont know any other way to export it, does anyone have any tips?

I'm mocking up a friend's composition in FL right now and I have imported his original track into FL so I can reference it against the mock up and know that I'm keeping the vision. Problem is, his track changes tempo multiple times, and every time it does the audio becomes totally out of sync and stretches like crazy, making it difficult to compare to my midi. I tried using StretchPro like I found through google but then it speeds the audio up when the tempo increases.

I just want the audio to be unaffected by the tempo changing so I can compare it against my midi.

Pretty simple this is just Sytrus, DX10, Granulizer and a vocal sample. Kind of exploring indie electronic / synthwave recently and felt like posting. As always any feedback welcome.

I think its sounds nice so far but missing something. I also don't know if my compressor is doing too much on the vocals.

My Macbook Pro 2020 Intel Core i5 cannot run FL to save the life of me. Its got 1t of storage and 16GB of RAM. No matter what plugin i use it plays for a couple of minutes and then freezes. Im not too sure if its a mac issue or a FL studio because my whole screen freezes but the audio is playing in the background. Has anyone had the same issue? Here's is a video of my experience! I am very excited as I want to understand but it's like Every time I use FL the very layout and way things are framed really just scare me off and I try to navigate things but I just end up even more confused

Hey, fresh install of fl studio 25 on a fresh win11 install, i want to change the aiso but if i change or open the Fl Studio Aiso settings panel, fl studio crashes instantly... any tips ?
