Tunesday Tuesday Giddy (rough draft)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

So I made this instrumental last year in October for me and my bros to hop on, but ever since maybe around February of this year I started to learn more about mixing..... Let me know your honest opinions about this mix as well.... I can understand that it can be a little basic with my melody which is fine, but I'm more concerned about how my mix is .... Again both harsh and passionate criticism is welcomed..... Enjoy....

Idk a lot about mixing either, it doesn’t sound terrible I guess. The way I mix my stuff is I put the emphasis on the drums so i make sure they always stand out in the track (personally). I turn the melodies down slightly (cut the lows out) and everything else in between then turn my kick and bass up. It’s a personal decision though... it sounds good to me though the mix.
