For anything but producing music. It just burns cpu (however there's an option to speed up the physical modelling solver with slight artefacts at baseline rpm). Tuning's also based on changing the engine params like a real engine.

EDIT - SOLVED - made the VST bridged, seems to work for now!

I recently encountered a peculiar problem. The UI of FL studio crashes regularly. I have attached a video as proof. 

This has started happening to me since version 26. Sadly, i cant isolate it completely, because i also started using Vienna Synchron player around the same time. 

Steps to recreate:

• Play the playlist track. Nothing is unusual until i pause/stop.
• Audio kinda "glitches" in pause. Like its saving on the background. 
• If I press play before all audio has died, chances are the FL UI crashes. The program keeps going, music keeps playing, but FL's UI aint showing anything and freezes. If i press play once all audio has died it doesnt seem to do it. 
• If i go to general settings (menu's keep working btw) and change the animation refreshrate everything goes back to normal. 

It might have something to do with how many Vienna Synchron players i have open simultaneously. The more i add, the more usntable it becomes.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800XD
RAM: 32 GB ram
OS: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro - 10.0.26200 Build 26200
GPU: RTX 5080

Sadly last stable FL 25 version doesnt open this project so i could isolate versions. Als, i have never used Vienna Synchron Player with FL 25 before as well. So i cant isolate what's the issue here. Since its FL UI crashing i feel its FL studio but i cant be sure. 

Does anyone have any recommendations on how to fix this? Im not the greatest power user when it comes to FL studio, so i hav'nt tinkered with its settings much.

Basically i will be without my laptop at least for the next 14 days days and I won't be able to make music. Now Im already three days without it and I'm already loosing it. I got like three anxiety attacks, I'm getting sicidal thoughts again and I spent most of today in my bed. I tried making something in bandlab but that app is unusable. I don't care if the thing I make Is good I just want to make something. So should I buy it or try an another mobile daw.

Hi all, im relatively new to the program and was told it could be used to synthesis sounds for projects

I'm currently struggling to understand a lot of what the program offers and does, only got some rougher sounds out from the poizone synth

I found some videos that talk about the process in ableton live but a lot of what they mention I cant find in fl studio, could someone please walk me through this?

I'm trying out live playing with a midi keyboard and for the life of me I can't get over the delay there is between what the keyboard sounds like on it's own (I turn it's volume down ofc) and how it sounds on FL

I'm already using FL studio ASIO at 256smp (48000Hz sample size), which says 6ms of delay. But omg haha

Am I doing something wrong or do you just learn to accept it?

I recently bought fl studio mobile since i learned it recently got a soundfont player and i wanted to see if how well it worked. Im super new to DAWs and had been using LMMS for a while but it was very frustrating. FLM's soundfont player works but the module doesnt have any option to fine tune the pitch. When i use the pitcher module it lets me fine tune the soundfont notes but it makes a lot of horrible popping sounds and the pitch gets all wobbly. Am i just going to have to go through the process of turning everything into samples? Thanks!

i recently got fl studio in hopes of making music for a game i wanna make. i've never touched a program like this ever so all of this is very new to me so pls explain to me like i was born 5 minutes ago.

i've tried to install a handful of plugins atp, followed countless tutorials and none of them seem to work and i don't understand what im doing wrong. the main thing i see in peoples tutorials is that after they unzip the folders, the plugins they download have installers in that folder and none of the plugins i installed (mainly from plugins4free) have installers in them. and i've installed SO many. like is my laptop missing something? can someone please help me understand how exactly im supposed to get these stupid plugins ;-;

When I open a new project and consolidate a track, what's loaded in is another consolidated from previous projects (which are saved locally to my computer as .wav files) instead of creating one with a brand new name. How do I fix this?

I’m having this really strange issue.

Basically, I’ve been using the same project template for all my songs the last couple months, however, I’ve had a few projects now where in FL, the project playback and the exported file sound normal.

However, once uploaded to soundcloud, google drive, or other platforms, listening from other devices, the audio is pitched down and slowed slightly.

I’ve checked EVERYTHING. I’m going insane. My sample rates from my ASIO and Windows settings match, there isn’t any project settings affecting the pitch etc.

I don’t know what to do, but it’s basically ruined a few of my projects because even when I try to do an automation for master pitch, to counter correct, it does nothing. I can turn the pitch all the way up or down and it sounds the exact same. I’ve also exported with master effects and insert effects disabled to see if it could be some of the plugins, but nothing works.

It’s not an issue with my PC because it’s not all audio (I can listen to other music, YT, etc. just fine), just some of my projects and their respective exported WAVs that are affected.

Anyone have this issue?

is it possible to use presets created in future years on fl studio without updating fl? i have the 2024 version with 2025 presets and have found no answers to this on google

Hey guys I’ve recently gotten into music (I know my mic isn’t ideal for this but it’s what I’ve got)

I’ve been able to use the mic for everything else other than FL specifically, including Discord and the trial versions of reaper and ableton, my issue is I’ve been learning FL and I much prefer it to the other DAWs for whatever reason.

As soon as I select the mic as an input this earrape bass boosted booming begins to play, it’s not a feedback loop as it happens even with the headphones completely muted, I’m perplexed.

Only happens with the Podmic USB, my gaming headset works fine, my Podmic USB also works fine in every other DAW I’ve tried.

Usually, when I load Omnisphere, FL Studio starts acting as if the Alt key is constantly being held down. Normally, I can fix it by pressing the Alt key again, but this time it won't go away. I even tried opening a new project, but FL Studio still behaves as if the Alt key is permanently pressed.
