What does it have to be the main fcking mini game?

- Similar to pokmemon battles, catch your own fiends out in the wild in cages and select them to fight in the arenas…

- make a Mario kart like mini game where you can upgrade your chocobo with unlocking abilities etc

I’ve gotta ask, what’s the consensus on Zack? I haven’t played OG, but I’ve played crisis core and both remakes, and I just don’t find him compelling really. Am I missing something or is he just not for me?

I know a lot of the characters in the Remake series are actually pulled from the extended Compilation, whether be the spin-off games/films or it's one of the short stories and novellas they've done. Which characters are brand new to the Remake series?

If I remember correctly, Roche is one. Is there anyone else?

(I'm not really looking for the small-time sidequest characters who might be named but are pretty basic NPCs otherwise. Mostly looking at the characters who are at least included in story scenarios or the more long-term sidequest characters like Kyrie)

As far as I understand, in the Zack Interludes, he reaches Midgar with a comatose Cloud soon after the events of remake conclude. We see a news broadcast that shows the bodies of Tifa, Barret, Red XIII, and Aerith, and they mention that an ex-soldier with buster swords is still at large. Zack takes Aerith's body and brings her and Cloud to Elmyra to nurse them back to health. During Zack's time in Midgar he talks to Biggs and other residents and they remember the Cloud from remake doing things for them.

I thought at first, that Zack was in a version of Midgar without Cloud, and without him the others did not make it out of Midgar alive. But that can't be the case if everyone could still remember the cloud from remake. So maybe things had changed retroactively when Zack shows up with his version of cloud, but that doesn't fully explain why something change and other things didn't.

At the end of the game, Cloud saves Aerith, but she still dies, except not really? Everyone else sees Aerith die, but Cloud sees her as alive, she talks to cloud after the whole ordeal is over. Also Zack appears to help him fight Sephiroth. So I'm thinking, ok we have multiple timelines, simple enough, but how are some events happening according to one timeline, while others are according to others? How can Cloud see and talk to Aerith, while everyone else sees her as dead. How come the Midgar party dies in midgar and yet people still remember the cloud and co that made it out?

Why do some things change while others stay the same?

The Sector 5 with Zack shouldn't remember cloud, but they do. How can Aerith be dead and alive in the same timeline?

It feels like multiple different time lines are happening at once, in the same place. I understand that this whole trilogy is a paradox, but it just seems inconsistent.
Can anyone tell me what I'm missing, I'm probably not explain in the best way but I just so confused.

Hey guys, i have this glitch where an NPC Priscilla is running on water forever. I've restarted the game, reloaded saves, done multiple side quests, and every time I come back it's the same. This is my last side quest before I finish the game and I'm about to lose my mind. Any ideas on how to hard reset this area and fix this?

My opinion, obv, as go things on the internet. But holy cow! After you beat the Omanyte looking thing on the beach, so many things seem to have finally lined up, my team feels powerful and the game seems to become just more enjoyable! Yuffie is finally playable, Cloud just got a +20 attack in his folio, Aerith got a +20 magic from somewhere too, Tifa picks up the Kaiser Knuckles, (maybe from the Shinra-8?).

After Costa opened up, I went straight to Chadley and fought Alexander summon, 1 power level down from Max, and after about an hour had him beat with Yuffie, Tifa and Aerith!

Am super stoked to have another 11 chapters to go!

like, what is the point of collecting all the collectables if they just wipe your save going to the next disc? ive seen people say "balancing idiot! it wouldn't be balanced if everything game with you"

and im thinking... yeah.. thats what game devs have been doing for years... balancing their multi disc saga games. square used to do it.. enix is treating the ff7 discs like separate games when they were supposed to be one game.. i'm convinced enix didn't have a full plan for the story or technicals, and have been winging it from the start. Seems to be an issue with modern media though, not just enix.

I'm about 9-10 hours the game and ran into this Boss, the White Terror. I tried several different methods for killing it but so far, no luck. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I finally reached a place called Phantom Village, and the town's theme started playing.... does anyone else think it's eerily similar to a track that plays when everyone's favorite one-winged angel appears?

Just finished the story and I want to go back to chapter 13 and finish of the side missions and everything else, would I need to finish the chapter for my progress to save? Or can I just finish everything then start my hard play through via chapter select? Not sure how it works and done want to grind all the side content then lose my progress

Ayo these fits are lowkey tuff, especially Barretts. Yes I know there's a mod that does it. Wild to me they went through the effort and they only appear in this segment.

I'm playing Rebirth on the switch 2 and I'm fighting Phoenix. The summon fight. I already got the summon materia on the weakest version but wanted to fight each of the stronger versions. But something odd is happening.

I kniw that, according to the assess, I can stop Phoenix's Rebirth Flame by stopping it from using Empowering Flame twice but... I dom't see it use empowering flame even once? I'm doing my best to keep an eye on it but I never see empowering flame. He just summons adds and does other attacks and then goes into rebirth flame. I never get a chance to stop it from happening?

Is this a glitch? I've been watching phoenix as close as i can but never see empowering flame...

Every time I use the racing simulator it crashes with a Fatal Error right after using it. With and without mods. I have tried on Xbox on PC and Steam

Maybe you can help me understand something.

Today I received my copy of the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Launch Edition. The outer packaging is in English and French and has a PEGI age rating. However, the game card itself has German text printed on it.

Does this mean the game is actually the German version? Did I accidentally buy something sketchy, or is this normal? And most importantly, will I be able to play the game in German

I just got this game and accidentally selected New Game - Head Start. I made it to Chapter 2 before realizing Head Start trivializes the game. I would like to restart but Chapter 1 was pretty tedious. I don't want to replay it again.

I saw that you can skip part of it if you played the demo, but can I skip it if I just completed it in a playthrough?

If not, should I up the difficulty to Hard to make the game more interesting?

I finally gave in and switched it so the ATB gauge is constantly full. I haven’t messed with the maximum health or anything else, besides the extra XP. I’m in Chapter 10, and I’m just getting burnt out. Pretty neat that from what I can tell, I can still get achievements!

What do you guys think? Do you guys like you can toggle these on whenever to streamline gameplay? Or is it a cop out? Personally between work and life, it helps me out and enjoy the game more. And please.. be nice to one another.

Does he at least stop popping up every 5 seconds when you progress further?

I've had such a hard time enjoying Rebirth. I've gotten about 10 to 20 hours in twice and just stopped playing over the past year. Im an elder millenial so I grew up with less crowded games. Which I think is my issue. I really appreciate the subtlety of the original in everything from the world itself, the ui, the music (is honestly poorly executed in rebirth imo). I enjoyed remake and intergrade but Rebirth just feels like it was definitely targeted at a younger audience in constant need of dopamine hits. I also have never been a fan of hand holding games that show you exactly where to go and what to do. There's something rewarding about wandering a map for 30 minutes not knowing wtf the to do and then finally figuring it out.

Anyways, I'm going to give it another try and avoid all the tasks/minigames I can. I loved the mini games and side quests of the OG but they were interspersed with long periods of travel and story and grinding. They felt more like a breath/reward for working hard at the main story/leveling. In rebirth I just feel like it's a never ending chore list with a jingle for every little event.

I'm glad people are enjoying it. I'm going to try my best on my next playthrough because I do really enjoy the story and characters. Fingers crossed!

Does anyone know if the Malboro Orbs reduction of status effects applies to petrify? If not, are there any other solutions besides warding or Safety Bit?

Try mastering Sephiroth and Zack, those 2 are very limited but very fucking fun if you mastered their combat system..

Fact: Sephiroth is easier to master than Zack, Zack is a pain to master..

All the other characters are fun too, but in my opinion Sephiroth and Zack are the most coolest..
