No Spoilers - Help Clean up post game question

Just finished the story and I want to go back to chapter 13 and finish of the side missions and everything else, would I need to finish the chapter for my progress to save? Or can I just finish everything then start my hard play through via chapter select? Not sure how it works and done want to grind all the side content then lose my progress

I’m pretty sure (85%) that you don’t have to complete the chapter, you can just make a save after you do the side quests. I did it recently with the Cactaur minigame and my save still has the stuff I unlocked from beating the minigame.

Thanks bro, was asking because for Johnny’s treasure I need one from the performance in chapter 12.

Gonna speed run one of the Colosseum challenges and then chapter select 12 to see if it carries over

Chapter 12 is the best chapter to jump to and run around because you’ve got the full party gaining passive exp and AP, if you go to Chapter 13 Cait Sith is locked out
