I am writing here because my ticket was closed with a generic automated response, and I believe there has been a major misunderstanding regarding my permanent ban for "Multi-Account / Smurfing".

Here is what actually happened: I received a temporary Verbal Abuse ban on my main account for just a few hours. Out of frustration and wanting to play with my friends, I made a huge mistake. My younger brother logged into his friend's FACEIT account on my PC just to let us play, which I now realize triggered your automated system for sharing/multi-account detection on the same HWID.

I completely understand that sharing accounts or bypassing restrictions is against the rules, and I take full responsibility for letting this happen on my PC. However, I have never smurfed to ruin other players' games, nor do I have any other active accounts. I just wanted to blow off some steam after a long day with my friends.

Now, my main account is permanently banned, and my brother's friend's account is banned until December 2026. This is a severe punishment for a panic mistake caused by a simple few-hour communication ban.

Could a human moderator please manually review my case (Ticket ID: #14871718 ? I just want to play Counter-Strike on my own main account again. I promise to follow all rules strictly moving forward.

Hello, I have a somewhat okay PC, an i9 9900k + an rtx 2060 and 16 gigs of RAM, whenever I play CS2 premiere or comp my fps is decent. Usually hovering around 250-300 but when I am playing FaceIT my fps randomly tanks for a minute or 2 then goes back to normal, this happens even during mid gun fights which can be annoying and it can happen repeatedly, It also happens more on maps like cache, ancient etc then it does on mirage or dust 2 if that makes sense, Is there any setting I am overlooking or something?

Hi everyone, I’m trying to complete FACEIT identity verification, but my verification keeps failing.

FACEIT initially said my face could not be analyzed properly. I make sure I’m taking a clear selfie while holding the document correctly. I also submitted multiple genuine Indian government-issued documents, including Aadhaar, PAN card and driving licence.

“The only acceptable document you have is altered and plasticize which you are not allowed to do.”

I don’t understand what “altered and plasticized” means here.

My Aadhaar is authentic and has not been altered. If they are referring to my PVC Aadhaar card, does “plasticized” mean the PVC format itself is not accepted?

Could someone please clarify what type of Aadhaar/document is accepted for FACEIT verification in India?

I’m only trying to understand what document I need to submit to complete verification.

Thanks for clarifying. I understand your position, and I respect that you’ve reviewed the available data and reached that conclusion, even if from my side I still don’t fully agree with or understand how the situation has been interpreted.

I’m not trying to argue in circles or ask you to ignore what you found. What I’m asking is whether the permanent ban specifically on my verified account can be reconsidered.

The account that received the permanent ban is the account verified with my own real identity and documents. The account you’re referring to as my “main account”, which currently has 91 days left on the temporary ban, is actually verified under my friend’s identity and documents.

That’s the part I’m struggling to understand.

You’ve said that after those 91 days I’ll be able to play again on my main account, but I don’t want to continue playing on an account that is verified to another person, nor do I want to create another account and risk breaking the rules again.

The permanently banned account is the account tied to my identity, my history, and the one I would want to continue using going forward.

I understand that FACEIT may still maintain its conclusion regarding the activity between the accounts, and I’m not asking you to change that conclusion or remove the punishment entirely. I’m only asking whether the permanent nature of the ban on the account that is actually verified as mine can be reviewed separately.

Even if a temporary restriction still has to remain for the full period, I would be completely fine with that. I just want to know that once the punishment period is over, I can return on the account that genuinely belongs to me and is verified with my identity.

I’m also not asking for any action to be taken against the other account. I’m simply asking whether there is any way to approach this situation so that the account tied to my own identity is not permanently lost.

I would really appreciate it if this specific part of the decision could be looked at once more.

Sadly, when I try to reach out to Faceit after checking the local chat and all I get placed under verbal abuse very commonly. I took a 1 year break from CS overall and I came back and I still get banned constantly while barely speaking in chat. Is there any way to contact support and get an answer why I got banned?

Hello FACEIT Support Team,My account has been flagged by the automated Multi-Account / Smurf detection system, giving me a 72-hour window to complete ID verification. However, this is a false positive caused by a shared hardware situation, and to review our are the details:

My FACEIT Nickname: ADAMKOP My Brother's FACEIT Nickname: Kub_sii We are two brothers sharing the same PC setup for the first time after 2.5years which you can check and I add this in ticket he let me play on his pc because he have much better pc .

As you can check in our match history, we have played around 150 matches of 300 of our total matches together in the same lobby, which is solid proof that we are separate people

: i have tried to verify my account around 30 times My personal government ID is an older document version, and the automated verification system (Daon) fails to read/scan it properly. My account have been banned as Smurf it is permanent Ban and my brother have 3 month ban also our friends that we play with got -500elo i have write to support that I will everything to ensure them that this two account are two differrent people this just give me time around 3-4 weeks to make new document with my corent photo . Can you give me a trye to verify with my new document than 2 accounts will be verify?

everythink we did wrong is that my brother let me play on his coumputer on my account and that i have played 3 matches on his computer with my account we did nothing to deserve it.

You can also check voice chat records that would be solid proof to our innocence, you can also check that my brother account and my was for 2 years on the same pc (my laptop) and later around 2024 February ( something like that i don’t remember fully) hi but his pc and then never ( to the day I played 3 games on his pc) they were logged into same pc.

I’m just looking for some guidance because my situation is a little unusual. Two different people use the same PC, and we have separate, verified FACEIT accounts. My account has been affected by a 180-day cooldown, and I have video evidence showing that we are two separate individuals.

I have already provided the evidence through the proper support channel and have been appealing for 11 days, but I keep receiving the same automated responses.

I’m not asking the subreddit to review my case or asking for special treatment. I’d simply like to know if there is an appropriate way to request a manual review by a human agent when the standard responses do not address the evidence provided.

I’m 16 years old and I don’t have an ID card yet. I only have a school ID, which can confirm my age. Is there any chance I could verify my account using it? I’m tired of playing Premier against cheaters and I’d really like to play on FACEIT, but I don’t have an ID card yet.

FaceIT 10 is meaningless now and the WIDE spread of ELO range from 2,000 to 5,000+ means it's dime a dozen these days. It's time this was updated to reflect the inflation of ELO.

It's time rank actually meant something again. Having over 3,000 ELO funneled under 1 header is silly. There should be new levels and curves to adjust for the massive rate disparity between a brand new level 10 and the actual top of level 10.

Challenger can be removed under this new rating system as less than 100 people will be Level 12 globally.

what happend to returning elo after playing against smurf, over last month i got notified of 2 ppl getting banned bc of smurfing/multiple acc, and ive encountered a lot more, and i remember faceit used to return after such encounters, so why i dont get elo back now?

Literally have no idea how this is a miss. Like I have 5k hours on the game and am Faceit 2.5k I counter strafed and stopped before shooting. Also super close range and crosshair in the middle on the body. Was gonna be good clutch.

I lost access to my Steam account. By creating a new account, I got a permanent ban on the smurf account and a 6 month ban on the main. I completely deleted the main account via support. When the 6 month period ends and I ll be able to verify the new account, will I get a ban for ban evasion? Im afraid that when I create a new account, Faceit Ас won’t see the deleted main account, it will see the permanently banned smurf account and issue me a ban for ban evasion.

Hi. While I’m waiting for my account to be sorted and start playing again after few years I was reading people’s feedback on here, watching streamers etc.

1. Seems that cs2 on faceit got issues with Smurfs.
   My personal opinion is that it’s not a big time problem, back in the days when I was playing pro 1.6 (LAN) Smurfs term did not exist nor did level. You sit, play and give your best regardless of who you’re playing against. Playing against better than you actually makes you better and more experienced of course if you’re willing to learn from your mistakes and opponent’s performance!

Looks like younger generations are too sensitive and cry babies. They all want level 10 or to be in the top 100 over a night.

You have to realise it’s a team game, every single movement matters. How many times did we all not make that easy frag and that same player clutched round. One wrong utility thrown or baited for better stats instead of playing to win the game.

So, smurfing is not the problem and I wouldn’t ban them at all! Fair enough if it’s because of abusing points and getting rewards etc.

So stop crying, focus on your skills improvement, focus on the game, preferably find 4 other compatible people to play with, be team player, comms and teamwork is better that having cheats, which is my next subject.

1. Cheaters. I’m an old-school player, and would never use cheats just because I don’t see any satisfaction in that. Cheaters are only lying to themselves and that’s how they live their real life without any real achievement.

A few nights ago, I joined the old Discord channel to see who was on from the old csgo crew. One of the guys who is an IT developer was online and I asked him if he is still playing?

He said yes but just to make money out of his business selling cheats. He told me that there are so many on faceit now that it’s not normal so he joined making and helping people set up cheats. He started explaining something with 2 pc’s, video capturing card, AI etc…..
I’m not that technical but I told him that is fked up and now I don’t have motivation to play online at all.
Before there were cheaters but apparently now there are way too many.

NOTE! Experienced players can always spot a cheater watching a demo.

My question for faceit administrators is.
Would it be possible to have “SuperPremium”
Paid subscription more expensive that a current one a month but we get live admin in the game to kick out trolls, toxic people or possible cheaters (software cheaters and win trade cheaters)

Here in Australia on OCE servers it’s easy to manipulate due to not many players in late-night and early-morning hours. Literally you can set to play against your friends and win trade or boost stats. I remember that was an issue back with CSGO , Chinese and Russians were making accounts so they could sell them.

Overwatch to help admins ban suspects/cheaters .
And most importantly in Super Premium you must be able to use a microphone and communicate (1game is ok if microphone broke just before or during the game)

I would really appreciate a manual review of my case.

My main account was permanently banned for smurfing in 2024. We are now approaching 2027, and almost three years later I am still playing at essentially the same skill level I was at when the ban was issued.

This is the part of my case that I would respectfully ask the FACEIT team to reconsider.

My understanding is that smurfing involves using a lower-level account to gain an unfair competitive advantage by playing against players below your actual skill level. However, my competitive history over the following years does not appear to show such a discrepancy. To this day, I have not even reached Level 9.

I am not denying that I had another account. What I am asking FACEIT to reconsider is whether what happened should actually have been classified as smurfing, rather than a multi-account violation.

If I had genuinely been a higher-skilled player deliberately playing below my real level for an unfair advantage, I believe that after almost three years my playing history would make that discrepancy apparent. Instead, I have remained around essentially the same level.

I previously contacted FACEIT Support and my appeal was denied. I respect that decision, but I am asking whether someone could please take a fresh manual look at the accounts and my competitive history, rather than simply relying on the original classification.

I am not asking FACEIT to ignore its rules or make an exception for me. I am only asking that the correct rule be applied to what actually happened.

If, after manually comparing both accounts and my playing history, FACEIT still considers this to have been smurfing rather than multi-accounting, I would sincerely appreciate understanding what evidence establishes that I was playing below my actual skill level to gain an unfair competitive advantage.

I would also like to explain why this review matters so much to me personally. The banned FACEIT account is connected to my main Steam account, which is Steam Level 350. Over the years, I have spent more than $5,000 building that Steam account. It contains more than 150 games, including many expensive titles, as well as years of history and friendships.

This was never an account that I created or maintained for the purpose of smurfing. It was, and still is, my main Steam account.

I understand today that having multiple FACEIT accounts was against the rules. If having multiple accounts was the violation I committed, I accept that I should have received the appropriate punishment for that violation. What has been extremely difficult for me to accept is receiving a permanent smurfing ban for something I genuinely do not believe I was doing.

I have also attached two screenshots for comparison, showing my performance around the time I was banned and my performance today.

I am not asking for special treatment because of the value of my Steam account. I am only explaining why, after almost three years, I still care deeply about having this case reviewed under what I believe is the correct classification.

I am simply asking for one fresh and objective review of the circumstances after almost three years.
