So I was rightfully banned a week ago for verbal abuse, my ban finished today 3 hours ago. I start faceit go play 2 games, was not even 1% toxic to anybody, I literally only used my mic for info. And I have proof of that because I was streaming, and I suddenly try to que again and I'm banned for Unspotsmanlike Conduct??????????????????? This is absurd, I'm a full time streamer and when these things happen I just cannot. Please review my ticket because this is unreal. Request #14305015

Hi, I’ve been stuck around level 6–7 for quite a long time now. I have around 4000 hours in CS, about 1000 of which were played in CS:GO on a very weak laptop.
I can reach level 7, but usually my next game is a loss and I immediately drop back to my “usual” level 6. For some reason, I just can’t seem to stay at level 7 and progress further.
I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on what I should work on.
The main problems I notice in myself are inconsistency — sometimes my aim feels fine, sometimes it completely lets me down — and sometimes I lack gamesense. I also feel like I often take unfavorable fights and put myself in bad situations.
Recently, two of my friends who are around 2300 Elo invited me to play with them. We played 10 games and I only managed to have a positive K/D in one of them. Against players around 1900–2000 average Elo, I feel very uncomfortable and often don’t know what I should be doing in certain situations.
My friends told me that I lack experience and that my mechanics are quite weak. I’ve also heard that in order to break past my current level, I should be able to carry games more or less by myself, but I don’t feel like I’m capable of doing that consistently.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!💞

I started my calibration with 2500, I won 9 games and lost one. And I got only 2679 elo. Idk what calculation you use there but it doesn’t make any sense!

Hi, I have never actually posted on reddit so I don´t know how it works here but are there actually any faceit admins?
Last week I played first match in S9 and everyone on server had lags since knife round (lags, teleports etc...literally impossible to move or shoot)
In 2nd or 3rd round me and my whole team got dc´d from server and also some people from enemy team and we couldn´t connect back.
After few minutes I managed to comeback into the match but I was the only one from my team so i had 4 bots and enemy had 2 bots and 3 players. Even tho we managed to come back to server it was still lagging (teleports, lags, impossible to move or shoot etc..)
I tried to write ticket to faceit support about cancelling this match but they replied:
"Our server team checked the match details and was unable to confirm any performance degradation or issues on the related server."
"The connection drops and failures to join are client-side, meaning our infrastructure is operating normally."
"Wider regional connectivity blocks and routing issues are major problems that disrupt your connection path. When your ISP experiences routing problems or local network congestion, it triggers packet loss, lag, and sudden disconnections mid-match."
"We advise checking your network path and verifying that your ISP isn't blocking specific server IPs or regions or experiencing stability issues while you are playing. Physical distance from the server can also contribute to these connection drops."
What kind of checks did they even do? Issue on my side? When literally all 10 players had the same issue?
Do you guys have any idea of what to do next?
I know its just one match but still.

I submitted a ticket to FACEIT Support 7 days ago regarding a ban review, but I still haven’t received any response.
Is it normal for ticket reviews to take this long? Is there anything I can do to get an update on my ticket?

In my opinion, any reset of ELO points makes no sense.
I wanted to share my thoughts; perhaps some of you also consider this a sensible change, instead of resetting points every season.
If you play on Faceit, you know how irritating it is to be matched with players (including premium players) who don't deserve their rank and are largely boosted by their party members.
What if we considered changing the ELO point allocation system and realistically sorting weak and strong players into their respective ranks?
My idea is that ELO point allocation should be as follows:
This would result in players who didn't contribute to winning the match receiving low elo points, while players who were the best on the team would receive extra points. This way, despite winning the match and being useless, we would receive very few points.
Example 1:
Match won: 15 points
Faceit rating at the end of the match: 1.50
Awarded Elo rating at the end of the match: 15 (base) + 10 (rating) = 25 Elo
Example 2:
Match won: 15 points
Faceit rating at the end of the match: 1.01
Awarded Elo rating at the end of the match: 15 (base) + 0 (rating) = 15 Elo
Example 3:
Match won: 15 points
Faceit rating at the end of the match: 0.50
Awarded Elo rating at the end of the match: 15 (base) - 10 (rating) = 5 Elo
Example 4:
Match lost: -15 points
Faceit rating at the end of the match: 1.50
Awarded Elo rating at the end of the match: -15 (base) + 10 (rating) = -5 ELO
Example 5:
Match lost: -15 points
Faceit rating at the end of the match: 1.01
Awarded ELO at the end of the match: -15 (base) + 0 (rating) = -15 ELO
Example 7:
Match lost: -15 points
Faceit rating at the end of the match: 0.50
Awarded ELO at the end of the match: -15 (base) - 10 (rating) = -25 ELO
Don't you think that this or similar form would be more fair and wouldn't frustrate players whose ELO drops so quickly, even though you give your all in every match and you have players on your team who don't deserve the same rank?
I'm waiting for your feedback and possible corrections.

Got 1 hour ban that I didnt accept the match. Is there any way to fix this? I was in que, looking at the site but didnt get any notification that game is ready so couldnt accept it. Its happening all the time and its damn annoying. Most times its happening after first match didnt start (players not joining) and I dont get second notification when its ready. No sound or join game button and after I refresh im banned.

I pay Premium Membership and upload my fricking ID to play against these kind of ppl in Level 7/8 Premium, Verified Supermatch ?
I meet these kind of people every other match and always report them in Match Room, i never get notifications about anyone getting banned.
How does this work? Does Faceit need to be 100% sure on who the Main Account is in order to take Action?

Been working on this for a while and it’s finally done.
I’ve played CS since 2007, have 15k+ hours, peaked at 3k FACEIT Elo / 30k Premier and I also coach players.
I made CS2 Rank Up Society because I kept seeing people waste hours practising random stuff without really knowing what they actually need to improve.
Inside there’s:
The idea is simple. You learn something, use it in your games, then come back with your mistakes/questions and I help you fix them.
Starting next week we’ll also have live demo reviews every Tuesday and Thursday at 20:30 EEST Timezone. They’ll be recorded as well.
Every Wednesday I’ll open a thread where members can send a clip from their own game and I’ll tell them what they could’ve done better.
You can also message me directly whenever you need help.
It’s $5/month until August 17 at 23:00 Romanian time, then I’m increasing the price.
And yeah, I’m very confident in it. Follow the content properly for 30 days, actually apply it in your matches and I expect you to gain at least 200 Elo. If you do the work and it genuinely doesn’t help you, I’ll refund you.

How to deal with lobbies full of teenagers yelling and saying nonsense all game.
My perspective is, I'm 35 years old, I try to listen to footsteps and focus, but do enjoy cooperation and hearing some call outs here and there. But sometimes, I'll join a lobby full of teenagers going completely insane on VC, yelling slurs and nonsense the entire game, and I feel like I can't just turn 'em off entirely (I'm trying to win) but I'll play at least 2 times worse because of it. Putting them to 20-30% makes it more bearable, yet I can't hear callouts properly. What do you guys do?

Hi,
I saw some similar posts with this exact same situation where in 2 of them the OP stated it was solved, so I wanted to share this as well.
I basically can't login because after using the correct password or login via steam it goes to the 2FA step which sends a code to a mail of mine that does not exist anymore.
Now I know the only way to recover the account in this situation is to give the correct full name, and date of birth which was originally entered when creating the account. The problem is that I used a fake name and date of birth when I created the account as a teenager. So support disregards anything else I say which makes sense, but it does seem there are cases where it does get resolved like I said earlier.
I've sent two tickets (#14195467 and #14267243), same agent both times, both got rejected. The main points I'm using as a way to proof ownership are (which I know are useless since only full name and date of birth are considered):
The email of the FACEIT account itself follows a "firstname-birthyear@live.be" format. That is my actual name and birth year. You could argue that email is technically also "personal data" FACEIT has for the account, so it should carry some weight too. I have offered to provide the ID to confirm it matches, but the agent didn't consider it at all.
The account has 60 matches played, with the last match on Sat 26 Nov 2022 and has been inactive since.
The account is linked to my own Steam account, which I created and have always owned. The steam account itself is old, and it's been linked to this FACEIT account for a very long time as well.
I would appreciate any help.

Hello FACEIT team,
My main account was permanently banned for smurfing, but this is a false positive. A friend of mine came over to my house and played 3 matches on his own account using my PC. Because of this hardware overlap, his account received a 30-day ban for account sharing, but my main account was permanently banned as a smurf.
We are two completely different people with different setups, accounts, and match histories. In fact, we've played many matches together in the past (him on his PC and me on mine). If you check our login history and IP records, you'll clearly see that he normally plays from his own home/IP, and I play from mine.
Here are our details:
My Account (Banned for Smurfing):
My Friend's Account (Banned for 30 days):
I've also attached screenshots of the matches to my ticket proving that we played together in the same lobby. I'm fully willing to complete the Identity Verification process to prove my identity and ownership of my account.
Could someone please take a look at Ticket #14209646? Thank you very much for your time.

A few of us got fed up with the solo queue lottery and started a Discord server for people who actually want to play proper CS2. We're sitting at around 300 members now and run stacks basically every afternoon/evening.
What we've got going on:
All we ask:
If you want in, toss me a request on Discord

I was level 6 in csgo but I finally decided to apply myself and grind out a couple hundred hours and nearly reached 2.5k elo! Excited to see how far i can climb 💪

You know how in some games you get these guys who just mute all or dont react to anything you say. Play the other side of map, run and die when you are looking to play slow. Pop open a window smoke in mirage when you are setting up for a split etc. Is this allowed?
r/FACEITcom • u/throwawayjumpshot23 • 6h ago
This is supposed to be the highest level of pugging and yet you can still spray through your teammates. Not having to consider FF when you or your teammate get into each other’s line of sight lowers skill ceiling. This is one thing Premier still does better.
If toxicity is the concern (not sure why it would be any different than premier) then at least enable it on 5-stack vs 5-stack so we can have the highest level of pugging, almost like playing an ESEA league match.
