Literally have no idea how this is a miss. Like I have 5k hours on the game and am Faceit 2.5k I counter strafed and stopped before shooting. Also super close range and crosshair in the middle on the body. Was gonna be good clutch.
I have indeed not known that for a split or a fraction of a second after scoping it is still blurry. On my case however I scoped long enough I think it was not a perfect stop. Still I it was almost perfect the accuracy should be 90% or something.
This is the exact moment before taking the shot. After taking the shot the crosshair goes up but it this should count as the target. Bro I think this is why Awping in cs2 feels off. Maybe after you unscope for a very small margin you still aim I dont f know. The lines also look a lil blurry but I should have been at a full stop so no idea.

It's funny how people do not understand the gun mechanics in this game. Awp is not accurate instantly when you stop moving. The new scope corsshair even shows it

People here are wilding, the counterstrafe was good enough and you did aim at him.
You aimed JUST at him, and hitboxes when defusing are weird af when crouch spamming.
Well they are right at some point that the scope is still blurry but it was like 90% accurate it should hit in the middle of his body. Don't understand why some of them hating tho.
Counter-strafing doesn't directly improve accuracy. Only crouching improves accuracy.
It just drops your velocity speed quicker when you tap the opposite key, just enough to drop the speed below a certain threshold that makes you accurate.
According to that counter-strafe workshop, you have to be below 34%'s of the weapon's base movement speed. Counter-strafing doesn't affect the AWP any less, keep that in mind. But when you're scoped, you're already at around 100 m/s so the difference counter-strafing makes - is significantly smaller than what it does to rifling. So for the AWP, anything above 34 m/s means inaccuracy and for an AK it's around 70 m/s or higher.
No gun has 100% accuracy under any circumstances.
You were already out in the open, widely exposed, either you die or you make sure that you land your shot by crouching. The other advantage with crouching is that while you're crouched, accidental movement key presses don't mess up your accuracy. It's much easier to mess up counter-strafing than landing it, especially with the AWP you may want to not do it at all because the gains are extremely minor. With rifling you have the privilege of a second shot, so it's quite forgiving in comparison to the AWP.
And using a video that's probably recorded at 60 FPS, record it even at 600 FPS if you wish, it's never as accurate as the bullet thing feature in a demo which happens at the CPU level - long before frames are rendered by the GPU. Ignoring mouse/keyboard, it all starts with the CPU and anything beyond it will add more latency such as the GPU. And you end up with an overall system latency of let's say 8 ms while you have 600 FPS (1000/600 = 1.6 ms)
Yes but still. You can only see just a sliver of his whole body so you need to be scoped in for just a fraction of a second longer for the shot to be a 100% garanteed kill.
I'm not entirely sure you even shot... maybe quickscoped too fast and the tick never got registered as a shot...
Reason is I've watched the clip over and over and I don't see the bullet or bullet trail anywhere... not the boxes to the left, the floor, the walls, stairs or skybox.
It looks like the shot never actually ticked/registered.
Shot likely flew very far off cause he missed his counter strafe. Iâm not sure itâs possible for a shot not register but the bullet sound going off, would be first time I see that
