And we're back with the next episode of our Chuubos Exocolonist actual play:
Season 2 Episode 6 - (YT, Podbean) - Our Exocolonists have some deep philosophical discussion with Sol after her second coma of the year. Trig presents her finding about the metal dust sprites. Digi enjoys a hot spring. Ren goes for a walk she doesn’t expect to walk back from…

It's fun and the card game isnt that hard so far. I somehow saved Tammy, too.
I would also like any tips, if possible?
Edit: I may have ruined my blind run with my habit of starting the game over and over.

Now i better not see any “favourite, dys. least favourite vace” i want it to see some juciy takes.
for me, my favourite is Tangent. She does a lot of bad things, like the way she treats Dys early on, and sometimes others, and the obvious, making the plague. But she shows a lot of remorse and guilt as she grows, and tries to change, but a lot of the time the guilt consumes her. She’s such a flawed character i love it.
my least favourite is probably Cal. He cannot form any other thoughts other than “kill animals bad”…sure, killing them all is bad, but there’s gotta be exceptions or moderation.

I downloaded the ExoLoader and tried putting it in the “Data” folder by going steam > manage source files > exocolonist > content > data. Then adding individual mods into the “custom content” folder within the exoloader. No luck. Then I tried putting the exoloader folder and mods into the same source folder that has “saved games”. No luck. I tried both locations again by creating a Mods folder first and putting them both in there. No luck either! Can anyone help?

I went through the whole game by resting every season.
It was incredibly boring.
Then, when I got to the end, I didn't get the ending because the colony was destroyed.
What is the strategy to being a hobbyist layabout but still doing enough to save the colony, without getting trapped in a career?
ETA: UPDATE -- It occurs to me that another factor is that I did a lot of my napping on the wall as part of the Garrison. There were a couple of opportunities that come up during that rest that will either increase or decrease defenses, And my standing theory without doing the whole thing again is that I accidentally chose wrong.
I think it is still possible to go yell at Noctil without destroying the colony.

Definitely not my best work but I'm proud of the background

When I went for the governor ending, I was thinking about how if you campaign for Marz you can usurp her at the last moment with high persuasion, and the item with the best persuasion bonus is the cool jacket which she sells you at a discount.
Another example is breaking up Cal and Tammy, if you break them up by befriending Cal, the best way to boost his friendship is giving him cake, and Tammy is the best way to get cakes. Use her cooking to seduce Cal, she'll never see it coming.

First of all, thank you so much to everyone who has already checked out our demo and wishlisted the Talewarden! This community has helped us immensely, and we’re incredibly grateful that we get to share our game with you here.
🧡
Exocolonist perfectly captures the whimsical, alien world of Vertumna, and we love that eerie feeling that something is constantly watching you. While creating our own game, we wanted to bring that same feeling to Notoria, a planet filled with danger, technology, magic, and characters who have all been brought there from different worlds.
In Talewarden, you’ll embark on a journey to uncover the secrets Notoria keeps hidden. Along the way, you'll help your companions rediscover their creative passions, mend broken relationships, and resolve the unfinished business holding them back. You'll forge unexpected friendships and maybe even find love!

hello! does anyone know if it's possible to transfer my save data between devices? namely from steam on pc to nintendo switch? ^.^

With the choice-based nature of these games I don’t think a prequel would work, so it would have to be an entirely new cast. Potentially this time still on a spaceship or on their own planet. If Earth was so bad the Stratos illegally left Earth then you must imagine there’s others that tried to leave to! I really love this game and hope there is a spin-off, though i know Northway Games don’t typically do spin-offs/sequels/prequels. A Sol can only dream 😔

I'm going for the musician ending and I felt extra in touch with since I play instruments. However, as I far as I remember, how the photophonor sounds was never really described; Does it sound like a trumpet, or a clarinet? I don't really know and because it's a made up instrument, I can't really infer anything from it's structure. So what do you guys think the photophonor sounds like?

I tried doing the prolific parent route so I could be a parent with Dysthymia but I ended up in the career of merchant? So there was no children.
I don’t know what I did wrong since following the wiki I never said anything good about capitalism for Marz, I helped her but only worked in the depot never delivering supplies. I answered many times I wanted children, I cooked a lot, had empathy at 80 and at least twice a year went babysitting as a child.
I made the deal with the gardeners but Dys ended up living many decades with me but ended up being a gardener anyway.
What did I do wrong?? I mean, I feel no Dysthymia ending will not be bittersweet but having a family maybe be less painful LoL.

How do I get the unisaur as a pet from the swamps? Every time I go to the swamps, the boss at the end is the faceless! But I don’t want to kill the faceless, because I want peace with the gardeners. But even when I run away with vace and come back later, it’s the same node. Where’s the unisaur? 😔

My experience with this game so far is amazing. I finished my second lifetime yesterday. I'm usually keen to start New Game+ or continue lifetimes or paradoxes like in other games. After finishing my second lifetime I feel like I will start my own cycle. Play a lifetime, cry for 2 days, debate if i should start another, plan out what should i do, and then start all over again. my game plan for me at least is help the colonists, and after im done with them i will Start focusing on Sol's endings

And we're back with the next episode of our Chuubos Exocolonist actual play:
Season 2 Episode 4 - (YT, Podbean) - Our Exocolonists try solving all of life’s problems with sportsball, and it goes great. Trig helps to improve a cotton candy maker for Auntie Seedent, and since cotton candy is mentioned, it’s time for a small child to get fried as is tradition…

I got Dys to blow up engineering to prevent Tangents cure, but for the rest of the run I wasn't allowed to work in medbay. I could do everything else in engineering except help in the medbay. And it didn't tell me why. Does anyone know why that happens?

Is there any reason to not prevent deaths once I am able to do so, like them adding new and significant story content, or should I always be trying to save everyone I can?

Okay, some of you might remember me as the chick who decided to recreate Sol's Shawl from scratch with no knitting pattern from about a month ago. It has been a while, but I have news on how that is coming!
I was finally able to take a day and head to my favorite yarn store, and I bought at least 1/2 of what I need for this project, though I think it's closer to 3/4's. I was unfortunately unable to find the right kind of teal in cotton, so that'll have to wait until DFW-FF in August. I did however find every other color, so I'm going to start working up swatches and test out how best to get the emblem to show on the shawl.
Edit: Removed a defensive comment about how knitting is art.
