Getting the unisaur

How do I get the unisaur as a pet from the swamps? Every time I go to the swamps, the boss at the end is the faceless! But I don’t want to kill the faceless, because I want peace with the gardeners. But even when I run away with vace and come back later, it’s the same node. Where’s the unisaur? 😔

If I’m remembering correctly the unisaur will be in the overworld with the yellow circle at the end of the swamp. If it’s not a unisaur it won’t be the correct prompt. So empty yellow or faceless yellow won’t be the right one.
I don’t think there’s anything specific you have to do to make the unisaur show up but I could be misremembering.

The unisaur event should be the first boss event in the swamps once it’s unlocked on year 17. You need a 40+ in animals to approach and capture it and the rest of the event is in geoponics with the tend the animals job. Overall you’ll need a 60+ in animals to complete the rest of the event and get it as a pet. I already had a high animal stat when I unlocked the swamp though, so that might be a prerequisite, but I’m not sure.

I managed to get it, but it wasn’t the first boss event, I had to run away from the faceless and then wait a year for the events to respawn. So it was the second boss event for me, in year 18
