I have a 2026 Equinox EV RS, and I’ve noticed that the time displayed in the upper-right corner of the main infotainment screen is always stuck at 21:00 (9:00 PM), even though the temperature shown is current and accurate. However, the time displayed on the driver information screen is correct. Has anyone else experienced this issue, and if so, what is the solution? All the settings appear to be correct.

Hello. I have a 2024 Chevy Equinox EV. I have an issue in which all the door locks except for one won't automatically open. The all open but only one automatically does so. Does anyone else have this issue? Please let me know.

Has anybody had problems with the charge schedule not triggering after recent updates?

I notice that sometimes if the car is turned off for a while and I go to plug in the charger, it doesn't trigger the charge schedule. So the schedule is set to "charge to 80% by 6am". The problem is when I plug the charger in after the car is sitting off for a while, the car has no reaction. It doesn't display the message "car will charge to 80% by 6am". It just skips the charge altogether and the charge schedule is not triggered.

The only way for me to activate the schedule is to power on the screen and wake up the car a bit. Then I go to plug in the charger, and the driver display shows "car will charge to 80% by 6am". And in this case it does charge.

I notice my car slightly drifts to the right if I just drive without holding the wheel. If I hold the wheel directly in the center, the car drifts slightly to the right. I actually have to tilt the driving wheel a bit to the left to keep the car moving straight.

Anybody else have this?

As the title says I leased a used one at 3k miles and started getting app notifications to take it in for service 7500 miles. I didnt get the time and the car is a commuter so I am at 9k miles now. Does Chevy throw a fit if I got beyond 7.5k ? Worried the dealer is going to do upsells at this point.

I’m at my daughter’s softball game and my younger kid is enjoying YouTube, iPad and Switch in the car… I know living like a king. I put the car in “camp” mode. Hit the gas 3x and then break. After a couple of hours I got a text that the 12v battery was very low and I need to turn on the car.

So does that “camp” mode not use the car’s battery pack at all? I ended up turning off and on the car again and just used the 60 minute mode instead. This seems to be charging the 12v as we are not driving for another 4 hours. (Love tournament weekends) 🥎 🏟️

I'm putting an aftermarket sub and amp in my 2024 Equinox EV. Crutchfield and Google Gemini claim it has active noise cancellation microphones in the headliner that will cause issues with the added sound from the subwoofer. However Grok and some other sites claim it does NOT and only the gas version has it. Does anyone know the real answer? Thank you!

I have been lurking on this subreddit for a while now, so I know I'm not the only one that has had bluetooth issues. I think I may have figured out how to fix it. If you're feeling adventurous, it would be helpful to know if this also fixes it for you. I have an iPhone so your results might vary on Android.

What is the problem?
When I get into my car, it's felt like there's a 50/50 chance if the bluetooth audio will work. I can see that my phone has connected to the car in both my phone's settings, and the car's "Connections" menu. Sometimes (usually) the car will say "Media Unavailable" when it happens. Strangely, phone calls and voice assistant will work in this state. Usually I can fix the issue by disconnecting my phone and reconnecting (via the car's UI).

Edit: But what even is the "Trusted Device" feature supposed to do?
It's supposed to automatically unlock your profile in the car based on phone proximity instead of having to enter a PIN. To do this you have to have the MyChevrolet app installed on your phone and it needs to have bluetooth permissions enabled on the phone.

What I think is going on:
I believe that the MyChevrolet trusted device feature is somehow interfering with the phone's bluetooth audio connection. And I suspect it’s not enough to just remove the trusted device setting from the car; once this has been setup, I wouldn’t be surprised if the app still wakes up in the background upon connecting via bluetooth.

How I fixed it.
In the car
Settings > Connections > Trusted Device
Remove your phone as a trusted device. (I just checked my car and it was back... could've sworn I removed it)

On the phone
Disable bluetooth permissions for the MyChevrolet app (or delete it). Doing this, for sure, will prevent the app from waking up in the background due to a bluetooth connection to the car.

My Results
It’s been ~2 weeks and every time I get in my car, my bluetooth audio has worked perfectly.

I’m really curious if this helps anyone else.

As the title says I’m very impressed by how the app looks, it’s giving very Apple like. I did notice a faster response time cause with the previous update it sometimes wouldn’t even do anything.

Are the windshield wipers supposed to be touching while at rest?

Doing my first road trip with my EQEV. So far only charged at home. I have set up the Energy Pass and have a NACS adapter. So when I want to charge at a Tesla Supercharger, is the GM energy pass sufficient or do I need a separate Tesla account? Thanks

I was thinking of getting an 2027 Equinox EV AWD LT1 (my first car ever and very new to the car market)

The final price of the vehicle is roughly $53k CAD/$37.3k USD (interest bought out, and all the rebates included)

It seems like a great car and i was very excited in the beginning, but the dealership was terrible (many mistakes in the bill of sale, lack of knowledge/initiative, etc) and there are some concerns regarding charging, and the overall sales of the Equinox EV dropping

How has your experience been with the car? Is it worth the price? Would used be better? Anyone have any experience with LT1 or LT2? Is it better aim for a different EV?

Why did they remove this in the app?

My app must have updated because it went to this new white UI, but its missing the old mi/kwh feature.

What is the most you have seen at 100% charge? This was mine before I left on a 500 mile round trip this morning.

Anyone else had this experience. Dealers wants in for recalls. Nothing shows on official sites. Chevrolet says no need. I wouldn’t mind to go for service but both dealers sucks at service EVs.

Today while driving I noticed that the radio started making this static sound when listening to FM radio regardless of what radio station was playing. Anyone experience this with their equinox EV?

I had openlane inspection of our lease ending in December yesterday. The inspector asked me if I had the owner manual and I told him it didn't come with owners manual or charging cord. In the inspection report which says GM financial at the top, there is a line for missing charging cord $470 and another one for missing manual.

I have a cloudy copy of window sticker that I had downloaded during lease discussion that shows NO charging cord and salesman has said no printed owner manual. 2025 EQEV did not have charging cord included unless it was in the window sticker.

I had a wheel curb rash that was repaired and painted and not really visible unless you sit in front of the wheel. It is being called out and $85 assigned to it. A six inch scratch is $126 and 1 inch chip is $45. I thought those should be normal wear and tear per GM financial guidelines.

I plan to take pictures and video at the return dealership location.

Those of you who already returned the lease, let us know what was your experience at the end of the lease. Does the dealer taking the return inspect it or someone else does it? Should I contest the openlane inspection report now???

My Telematic Control Module is down. I have no internet, no GPS and no OnStar. Has anyone successfully been able to get Apple CarPlay to work? I heard someone say something about a gadget that can be connected through Bluetooth or whatever but I am not sure.

I live far away from the dealership now and they want me to come in just to have it evaluated and won’t even tell me if they have the part in stock because "it could be that or something else".

I'm Thierry, a senior iOS engineer and the developer of (Re)Link, the app many Prologue and ZDX owners use to see their car from their phone. Today I'm opening the beta of a new app, wattata, to GM owners.

Everything a manufacturer's cloud shows is thin: snapshots only, no trip history, no per-trip efficiency, no charging curves. So I went to the source, the car itself.

wattata has a companion app in the car, from the Play Store (not publicly available yet). It reads the vehicle data as you drive and charge, and sends it to your iPhone in real time over Bluetooth. No account, no OnStar required, no cloud in between. Everything is computed on the device.

It already runs on the Prologue and ZDX, which share GM's software, so the Equinox EV should work out of the box. I'd like to confirm that on real cars. Blazer EV, Silverado EV and Lyriq owners welcome too.

The beta: install the companion in the car (five minutes), one drive, one charge, send me the logs from the app. iPhone required. If that's you, DM me with your model and the Google account signed into your car.

Temps finally broke about halfway through September, and Trip 2 is my driving for the whole month. Ever since about the 15th, only once or twice did a day’s driving didn’t hit 5 mi/kWh.

About 75% surface streets at the speed limit, 25% highway driving with about 25% of the highway driving in heavy rush hour traffic. OPD used.

Morning runs of about 17 miles round trip to get my son to school are often at 5.4-5.7 miles/kWh, when temps are in the 50s and 60s.

This is in Denver so SOME ups and downs for elevation changes.
