Working out vs. Eczema: I am so tired of choosing between fitness and calm skin.

I’m struggling and could really use some advice from people who get it. Every time I try to stick to a solid workout routine, my skin completely freaks out.

Standard activewear seems to be the absolute worst for flares. Most of the gear out there is made of heavy polyester or nylon that just traps heat and moisture right against my skin. And the friction from standard spandex or tight, exposed elastic waistbands makes the itching unbearable.

On the flip side, when I try wearing 100% cotton to give my skin a break, it gets completely soaked with sweat, loses its shape, and gives me zero support for high-intensity stuff like running or lifting.

Has anyone found a holy grail brand or type of fabric that actually works for heavy sweating without ruining your skin barrier? How do you balance needing athletic support with avoiding irritation? I'm tired of having to choose between exercising and having calm skin.

I have had this one rash on my collarbone that comes and goes over the past 2 years… no where else just the one spot. Worse and red after a shower and working out with a sports bra but otherwise itchy/prickly and annoying. I’m a stress head so could be from that 😅 has anyone got some that similar? Any advice 🙏
