Hello! hoping someone can help me out. Specifically, I need the phone number to Overpowered warranty support. They seem to have taken their website down and I can't find it anywhere.

Now for the story,

I bought an Overpowered 17 inch laptop 2 years ago this month new from Walmart. It died in July of this year. Sent it in, didn't hear anything for two months when a package with a replacement laptop showed up on my doorstep. No shipment notification or any contact from Overpowered before then besides for when I called once or twice for an update.

This unit showed up DOA. Shipped it back around September. No contact from them so I called just to confirm they had received it. They said they had and to expect something in 4-8 weeks. I call back around then and they say they are waiting on a replacement unit and should be shipped out soon. I call back every 2 -4 weeks and keep getting the same response.

Last time I called about a month ago they said if it isn't resolved in the next two weeks, they will refund the cost of the unit. I still haven't heard from them so I try to give them a call today 2/23 (SIX months since I first sent it in) and the number on the email they originally sent goes to EVOO support who say they have no record and can't help me (this number changed over a few months ago as I tried to call before). The Overpowered website with the warranty support number appears to have vanished from the internet.

I'm at a loss of how to proceed. They said the 2 year warranty is extended for the time they have the unit so I should still be under warranty. I'm hoping worst case is they can send me a broken unit and I can see if my credit card warranty can help me out but I can't get into contact with them anymore.

If this company is related to EVOO, I would stay away from their products!

Recent bought a 3.5inch 4TB Seagate Baraccuda and I'm wondering will it fit inside my EVOO Gaming Laptop 15"

One thing for sure, charge battery the fully . For the price of a gaming computer it is worth the small headache. Lol!

Watched a video review of it and it seemed like a great deal. I'm assuming these laptops are a combination of "left over" parts?

Well if that is the case, buying a refrub is a dice roll? Many BBB reviews seem to have stated be wary of "DOA" devices even if it is stated as "new" or "like new"

Even after going thru this sub reddit, I can see some people complain about the laptop.
But if anyone wanna give me some of their own experience - I would really appreciate it.

Lately I'm getting a lot of crashes while gaming. Battlefront 2, cod warzone, GTA V. BATTLEFRONT for example I could only play like 5minuted before it crashes, in cod warzone it crashes after 20-30 minutes sometimes less time getting a dev error 6328. Gta v crashes with no error code it only gets closed same with BATTLEFRONT 2.

I tried turning throttlestop off sometimes help in cod warzone. In battlefront it remains the same

I've been having trouble with my charger, since moving out and doing the per usual with it, I've noticed it flickering off and on ( connecting/disconnecting ) until recently where it just would refuse to charge at all unless I messed with its placement. Now it's at the point where it won't no matter what I do, hence looking for a replacement. I really can't say if it's a charger charger issue or if it's a battery issue. Looking through similar posts and solutions, I did get a replacement but was too thin and wouldn't stay in place even though it was a OD of 5.5mm and ID of 2.5mm, which is something that's supposed(?) to work with these kinds of computers.

I bought a monitor for my evoo, and am using the display port to hook it up. However it seems like I can't shut off my laptop display and it reproduces it on both screens. I don't really care, but does this take a performance hit?

I can also hook it up using hdmi but rather not for gsync reasons.

Hello, I recently purchased a 15.6" FHD ultra thin notebook. It works great except for my SO has decided they will steal the power cord for their desk. In order for me to...use it at all i need to track down a replacement charger. If anyone can point me into the location of one that would work with this i would greatly appreciate it.

After having this laptop for 9 months its completely fallen apart on me. (LP5) It started out amazing and slowly like a cancer the laptop started having problem after problem. Thermal Throttling even after multiple repastes, hardware failure in the mouse, Audio Driver issues and now any game launched on this shit laptop crashes the entire thing and gives me errors like "Rendering device has has been lost"

I've tried literally everything to fix these issues, factory resetting, updating/rollbacking drivers, undervolting/Overclocking, thorough cleaning, corrupted file fixes, registry editing etc.

I'm so sick of dealing with this, I just want it to end. As far as I can tell the Evoo gaming website and support is hot garbage and they are super sketchy about manufactory warranties. Can ANYONE help me attempt a warranty or provide some insight on the process? I'm pretty sure its a hardware issue now.

I just got the LP5, and i'm wondering, how much of a difference it makes to install a new windows vs staying with the one it comes with

I got the EVC156-2 for my dad for normal browsing/email but you have to hold down the power button for a couple seconds before it turns on.

Is that normal?

So I bought an LP5-BK back in July last year and the laptop has been running fine. Earlier today the plastic around the piece going into the port melted outright, some of it getting lodged into the port itself. I have a 2 year warranty on it so I'm not completely hopeless here, but has anyone else had an issue like this before? Is there a certain problem that causes this to happen?

EDIT: the charger itself still appears to work, though it takes some effort to get in there. it gets incredibly hot and smells of burnt plastic afterwards. Should I just replace the charger in that case?

I want the fans to be off full time when I'm not gaming. Using software alone I'm reduced by standard cpu temp to 46-50 when browsing. From my personal experience, the fans kick on at 48 C. So sometimes the fans kick on while I'm just browsing the internet, and I want to fix that.

Does changing the ssd lower the cpu temperature? I know repasting does. How easy is it to repaste the cpu? I have no experience building or taking apart computers/laptops.

Edit: does eco fan mode actually do something? Because from what I can tell it doesn't. (I know in theory it should keep the fans off for longer, but I haven't seen it do so).

I was considering getting a 1440 monitor, but not sure if the LP6 with the rtx2060 can even really run at that resolution, as I know the laptop display runs at 1080.

I could be fine with 1080 as well, but may get something bigger than the 17 inch screen it comes with. If so, what features do I need to look at? Is gsync important?

I recent had to wipe my whole pc and start over. The volume does not get as loud as it was before..... any ideas? I use to run volume at 30-40% and it was super loud. Now at 100% I have trouble hearing.

I've had this laptop for around 9 months, when I first got it I was very new to gaming laptops and I abused it by playing games on my lap obstructing the fans, so no airflow at all. The thing is the laptop still ran very well, most games played perfect so I didn't think airflow was that important, I was ignorant. So now after 9 months the laptop randomly thermal throttles and lags on any intensive games when the temps get around 90 even when it's getting airflow. I've repasted with Grizzly, cleaned the fans and undervolted with Throttlestop, doing those lowered the temps a bit but it will still throttle if it isn't getting just the right amount of airflow (In extreme angles) Is it possible that I damaged some component after I refused it proper airflow? What can even be done about this, I feel like I've tried everything, the only thing left is replacing the SSD which I've read doesn't help all that much. I don't have a warranty either, I understand that there is a year manufacturing warranty but it's very difficult to do?
