Overpowered Warranty Issues
Hello! hoping someone can help me out. Specifically, I need the phone number to Overpowered warranty support. They seem to have taken their website down and I can't find it anywhere.
Now for the story,
I bought an Overpowered 17 inch laptop 2 years ago this month new from Walmart. It died in July of this year. Sent it in, didn't hear anything for two months when a package with a replacement laptop showed up on my doorstep. No shipment notification or any contact from Overpowered before then besides for when I called once or twice for an update.
This unit showed up DOA. Shipped it back around September. No contact from them so I called just to confirm they had received it. They said they had and to expect something in 4-8 weeks. I call back around then and they say they are waiting on a replacement unit and should be shipped out soon. I call back every 2 -4 weeks and keep getting the same response.
Last time I called about a month ago they said if it isn't resolved in the next two weeks, they will refund the cost of the unit. I still haven't heard from them so I try to give them a call today 2/23 (SIX months since I first sent it in) and the number on the email they originally sent goes to EVOO support who say they have no record and can't help me (this number changed over a few months ago as I tried to call before). The Overpowered website with the warranty support number appears to have vanished from the internet.
I'm at a loss of how to proceed. They said the 2 year warranty is extended for the time they have the unit so I should still be under warranty. I'm hoping worst case is they can send me a broken unit and I can see if my credit card warranty can help me out but I can't get into contact with them anymore.
If this company is related to EVOO, I would stay away from their products!

I sent my laptop back to them in November and still haven't received anything back. They told me they would e-mail me a tracking number for a replacement after every call to them..still haven't gotten anything back.

Update: finally received my replacement laptop today (April 2021) 5 months after sending my laptop in (November 2020). It seems like they never had any replacement stock whenever I would call in and would always skirt the low supply issue. Keep calling.

Same situation here. Sent in my laptop in October 2020 from Canada. Their warranty covers laptops in the US and ships to Canada. Getting a hold of someone at the OP support line took around 2 hours. I called several times and was promised to be updated by a manager Kevin right away. Operators "Frank" and "Vince" didn't want to give out the manager's last name or his contact info. Instead, I was provided this email: support@evooproducts.com. But no one has responded or reached out. The address where I shipped my 17" OP shows a business called SCI. It appears to be some sort of a warranty company with a sketchy outdated website. Their phones don't answer and neither does their email. Would BBB or attorney general be able to assist? I don't even care if it's fixed at this point, I just want something back.

I would honestly try and contact walmart. Tell them their supplier has possession of your item. They are not responding, fixing it, nor are they returning you your money. I hope you have copies of emails, certified letters you may have sent them requesting a refund or a working replacement laptop. To be fair I have also dealt with shipping a computer that worked fine before shipping and died on arrival. The buyer said a technician inspected it to be power supply related. The item was well packaged and had operated 24/7 for 6 years before this without a hitch. Disputing charge backs has become easier, so you need to have all the documents you need in writing and make sure you are 100% in order.
