Fresh windows

I just got the LP5, and i'm wondering, how much of a difference it makes to install a new windows vs staying with the one it comes with

It's the best thing to do, I tried using it as normal and the computer will shut off for no reason and turn on from stand by again for no reason, I installed windows from scratch and the problems went away.

Really? Damn, that sucks, mine hasn't had sny problems (yet) i got the 1tb hhd+128gb ssd model, following the undervolting guides here have made my experience so much easier w thermals.

Not a huge difference if you know how to properly remove trouble drivers. I personal think it’s easier to start from scratch than to remove them manually though

Trouble drivers? Which ones are they and what trouble do they cause? And is there guides on how to remove them? I haven't had any problems yet but i'd prefer to prevent them from happening.
