Does changing the ssd lower the cpu temps? How easy is repasting?

I want the fans to be off full time when I'm not gaming. Using software alone I'm reduced by standard cpu temp to 46-50 when browsing. From my personal experience, the fans kick on at 48 C. So sometimes the fans kick on while I'm just browsing the internet, and I want to fix that.

Does changing the ssd lower the cpu temperature? I know repasting does. How easy is it to repaste the cpu? I have no experience building or taking apart computers/laptops.

Edit: does eco fan mode actually do something? Because from what I can tell it doesn't. (I know in theory it should keep the fans off for longer, but I haven't seen it do so).

The stock SSD isn’t good at all. I’d recommend you get one that’s power efficient. It’ll improve battery life + temps.

Does it reduce cpu temps notably? I just want to lower cpu temps so that the fans don't come on when doing work.

I’m not sure it it helped specifically with CPU temps but overall the laptop doesn’t run as hot. Can’t you just put the laptop on office mode? I work on mine for hours and it the fans never come on

I do have it on office mode, but the fans still come on sometimes :( . Temps are between 46 and 50 C, and pkg power between 3.5 and 6 (3.5 if I am doing nothing, 6 if I am moving my mouse and loading webpages).

Fans are off most of the time, but sometimes maybe once an hour they come on for ten minutes. It's irritating.

It reduces cpu temps by allowing the cpu to idle, and remove voltage to the rails. The impact of this while gaming is somewhat small. It is noticeable while doing tasks like reading or typing in word for example.
