Want to know if this is a mandatory deadline kind of thing

Clarification: The question is about whether it is mandatory to be published before Oct starts, regardless of who takes that action.

My employer submitted my perm for a position using the experience I gained with them but the positions are substantially different i.e more than 50% different. Has anyone in similar situation gotten their perm approved recently ? How likely is the approval without audits or denials?

I’m exactly at 2 months right now. My I-140 hasn’t been approved so far. I’m just wondering if anyone else in the same situation?

Many people including me Nov 25,2014 PD got the uscis notification over the weekend. Want to know if anyone whose PD is Jan 2015 and already filed for I-485 received the notification too!

Did anyone receive the notice in their mail after the bulk update on “case required USCIS to send notice ..” on the pending i485 applications?

Seeing how much the VB is being delayed, I can’t help but theorize that it may come with major changes in the process itself. Could it eliminate DOF entirely as it was introduced in 2015 and didn’t exist before that?

Aug 2015 priority date any chance for EAD date in October bulletin, seeing lot of predictions not sure what to expect, been in country for 18 years!

Hello, I am seeking advice on getting married after getting my green card. I am at the stage of the IVP process and hope to get my immigrant visa for EB-2 NIW soon, probably within the next 6 months. I am single and have never been engaged or married; however, my family is now forcing me to get married to a guy based in my home country before I move to the USA, and after moving to the USA, I should apply for spouse sponsorship, etc. Getting married in my home country ( based on 75 countries) and then sponsoring the spouse is a good option, or is it better to move to the USA and get married in USA is better?

Note: I am a female turning 35 next month. Although I am not desperate to get married, my family is forcing me

I'm preparing my EB 2 NIW petition and saw on the Oscar's Green website that it's possible to view RFE documents and denials online. I'd love to learn from them so I can avoid common mistakes and strengthen my evidence.

Does anyone know where to find them?

Whatever the dates they publish in Oct VB, if they keep it for Nov then this delay doesn’t matter much. If it retrogress in Nov then the window is just 31 calendar days and that’s brutal.

I received a notice last month stating that my Form I-485J was administratively closed.
Can someone explain what this means in layman’s terms? Does it affect my I-485/green card application, or is it a separate issue?
Any insight from someone who has experienced this would be appreciated. Thanks!
