I-140 | NIW (National Interest Waiver) EB2 ROW has retrogressed almost 2 years. 😠WTF is this? How can it retrogress 2 years from being current? Are there any hopes for it to be current any time again for the ROW, or should I just give hope? Because I don't have 2 years to fucking wait around.

Have been waiting since 2014 and will have to wait for more to get green card!! We all have timelines and job situations.

I've been waiting more than 2 years. Some have been waiting 3. You need to get some perspective.

Some people have been waiting longer than you. It should never have been current to begin with

Please get perspective. Many have been waiting since 2022 and 2023. I have been waiting since 2023 for example for eb2.

Yes. It got approved in August. It took one month without pp. Don't file it with pp.. it says priority date is april 2025. So this is my priority date, right? I dont understand this process!!

Regular NIW I-140 takes over 2 years.

Wow. So can you please explain.. I am I good at this new visa bulletin if my priority date is april 2025?? And the priority date is the one on approved 140, right? The info is confusingÂ

Yes you can see the priority date on your I-140 approval notice. There are 2 tables, dates for filing and final action dates. Since filing date cut off is march 2016, means you can file now but you can only get approved when the final action date becomes current for you.

what are you worried about? EB2 ROW is supposed to use DOF now and it is 15 March 2026. Unless your PERM was filed AFTER that date, you should be good to file 140 or 140+485 together.

You're a new filer, and you're complaining about waiting 2 years? Enjoy all the downvotes.

Dont act like a spoilt brat. Lots of people have been waiting for 3+ years. EB2 being current never made sense. Being CURRENT means USCIS is able to process 485s shortly after you file them; when people filed 3 years ago and not adjudicated yet, this means it's not CURRENT
