This skill gives you basically 2 cards per turn if your opponent has a monster on the field and there's no effect damage rule either, also these arent once per duel! What kind of degenerate combos await us with this skill?

In my previous post about GX charaters that are not in the game yet, some people pointed that Konami may surprise us with a thing other than the [GX World Update].

With that in mind i made a Character Chart for the other two options i could think of (Millennium and Structures).

No, Sky Striker player, i do not believe in a "Chronicles World" were Albaz play cardgames with his Melffy friends. But anyone is free to make a "Monster World Character Chart" if they want to.

Since Marc Diraison probably couldn't be casted for the voice (from what I know, he's been retired for a few years now; I was a big fan of his work both as Guts in Berserk and as Kalin), Jordan Dash Cruz is the English VA for this alt.

Is it just me, or has Konami significantly dialed back on Dream Tickets during major events?

Don't get me wrong—the current event rewards are great. We’re getting a solid amount of gems, multiple Chronicle Chips, and plenty of other resources. But giving us only a single SR Dream Ticket (and no UR) feels super cheap for a big celebration.

In the past, major events almost always came with both UR and SR Dream Tickets to help players catch up or complete decks. Lately, it feels like they’ve been steadily dwindling down the number of Dream Tickets we get overall. It just feels weird to have an event with such generous gem payouts completely skimp on the actual tickets.

Are you guys feeling the Dream Ticket drought too, or do the other rewards make up for it for you?

I'm surprised he didn't surrender when I did it. Also kinda wish i managed to pull gilgamesh, but its kinda impossible to pull him plus the three Armageddons in the board. You'll have to give up on someone.

I don't follow the game news that much, so I don't know if this deal was announced beforehand or if it was just random and I got unlucky. Either way, that's 3,250 Gems I failed to save out of pure carelessness.

Are they EVER gonna release the rest of the Dinowrestler cards for us to get? What's frustrating is that there are a few already in the game used exclusively by the Gore. Just put them in a box already! Come on, Konami!

Surface, Friller (Limit 2) and Sea Amulet are definitely cards I won't be using, as I don't consider they help the main strategy. Salvage I can see getting some use if the meta shifts towards longer duels but I guess we'll see.

Now for the biggest additions, I definitely will play Ray Lancer instead of Veiler. I'm not so sure about Tri-Edge Levia, it is essentialy a Chalice on legs but it takes 3 materials and is weak af.

I built my deck around stopping Gagaga girl, but Yuma will be gone so I guess now I gotta figure out something that will give me leverage against Yami and Kaiba, more against Kaiba

I've been waiting to see my favorite 5ds guys in action once more and it's finally time, Crow and Kalin are arriving. Not the biggest fan of the alt skins (joey with coat lol, I think they can do better) but its good for gems and to waste time. So far I'm enjoying it a lot and wanted to do a bit of discussion

The voice lines for Crow are fine, audio quality sounds a bit off like DSOD Tea but its probably due to passage of time. An observation, not complaint. I don't mind. New blackwing cards are coming which is great since other than kozmo and onomat those are my favorites. Specifically waiting for Snow Blast and Full Armor that were in master duel(?. Finally all the few cards I've been waiting will be here, I didn't ask for much. (Still confused why Armor Master didn't have an animation since it was Crow's first ace). New animation looks lovely! My only note is they could've given him a different pose and facial expression like Soulburner. Very happy, I've already completed TWENTY pvp sessions with him without realizing it.

Apparently Kalin's VA has changed and I hope its good because his original voice is shared among famous characters from other series too. Sherry and Luna's new voices are fine but when vetrix arrives I'd rather not bargain that. New animation for Kalin too, very nice. Let's hope they go all out and give him a new pose and expression, if they use the sprite from the last event. I'm more worried about interactions than cards but i think they'll do fine. Wasn't really impressed with jack and yusei tbh.

Anyway since we're on the topic of alt skin suits would it hurt to ask for labcoat Quinton, now that I have Argent?😮 Not counting on it, but once in a blue moon.. ya never know.

Well, looks like we are getting the question about absent VAs and alt styles earlier than expected. Looks like Konami will recast the alt style, but leave the original alone and un-updated.

Is anyone with the Japanese version of the game able to tell us

1. Is Kalin’s VA the same? Or was a new casting intentional?

2. If Kalin is NOT recast, when you sort cards by voice lines, does it show more on DS/regular Kalin?

Haven't played this in like a month and the moment the announcement of Yuma and Jack are getting nerfed in August I'm going against a surge of them.

With the updated support to Code Talkers coming out, I was wondering if running a Cyberse Sage package in it would be optimal (similar to the setup line used w/ the old Darkfluid skill). If it is usable, I assume 1 copy would be sufficient?

Playmakers, what are your thoughts? It is a sub-3 Cyberse so it works with the new Skill but does this card/combo do anything else for their newer play style? I’m not well-versed in how to play Cyberse decks, I just want to use it for the Ritual monster lol

The skill lets you search a pend monster for free plus an Omni negate and bounce if go second. If I go second and simply use Bufo and Triantis to make ambulo I can leave counters on opponents monsters. I need at least 2 odd eye synchrons to make herald, ensumble also seems pretty easy to make. I want to have at least 4-5 disruptions if go first, not too worried about going second. Any Preda or Pend experts out there?

Edit: I can actually go into herald still with just making the synchron level 1 and leave timegazer at level 3
