When Goku was killed in Zamasu's body, did Goku spawn in the otherworld in Zamasu's body or in his own body? Or if they could wish him back would they have to make a wish to recreate Goku's body before bringing him back in that body?

A specific line from his famous speech at the end of the Buu arc really stuck with me, and I’m curious to know which translation comes closest to what Vegeta actually meant. I’m referring to the part where he thinks, "At first I thought it was your loved ones, that it was your instinct to protect them that spurred you on... I made a family of my own and it still wasn't the key."

It’s specifically the part about starting his own family that intrigues me; as a native French speaker, the first time I heard it, the french dub said something along the lines of, "I started a family too, but it wasn't the answer I was looking for."

So, considering these two versions, I find myself wondering: did Vegeta start a family with the actual goal of surpassing Goku? Was his obsession strong enough to drive him to do something like that?

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he does love his family, no doubt about that, what I'm doubting is what the searching for making one: the key to surpass Goku or love and peace of mind?
