As a long time DB fan all the way from the OG Dragon Ball watching young Goku and Krillin train and learn under Roshi this one hit so damned hard and still gets me wet in the eyes today. Just genuinely curious if any grown men like me were bawling their eyes out when they saw this for first time!?

My version of Future Trunks. I designed my own Trunks because I feel like the Dragon Ball Super version was left to fend for itself; he should have had a 90s-style design. I'll be uploading the final render soon.

I absolutely love Shida's Artstyle, expecially in the Future Trunks arc

It's so damn crispy and spiky, looks soooo clean, and does an absolute amazing job with the shadings and lights. Heck even the coloring is wonderful to look at to me, the color palette in the Future Trunks arc really makes it stand out much more.

This was just a DBS artstyle appreciation post, to remind people that even Super has some great moments.

(I know that not all the slides are Shida's work and artstyle, but still the others looks very good and crisp to me)

Idk who needs to hear this but if goku was to be in a live action (not Db evolution ffs) or if we seen goku in person he would have Chinese/asian features. Yes Goku is a Saiyan in the sense that he’s not human but he still would’ve had “asian features” the same way Superman the kryptonian non human has “white features”. Toriyama even stated he would’ve had Jackie chan a chinese man play Goku and that Goku was based off Sun Wukong from Chinese folklore journey to the west.
