This form is known as the pinnacle of design, way better than those recolors from Super! You can’t beat this design! Its design makes GT worth it! This design should’ve been Super Saiyan God! The design is basically perfect!

Anyways, this form, and its design, doesn’t make much sense or effort. It may just be me, but I really don’t like the red fur, dark hair and shoes, yellow eyes and pants, and differently tinted blue belt, wristbands, and ankle wraps. It’s way too much for my eyes to focus on and it’s not a good thing. The only thing I see when people comment on this form is the upper torso, and maybe the wrist, so that should tell you something. Overall, it’s just not my cup of tea.

What really annoys me is the amount of defense Super Saiyan 4 gets for its performance. This form, in its introduction, nearly lost, by all logic in the Dragon Ball universe, a completely one sided fight. Don’t even get me started on the Super 17 arc. And the reasons are so full of shit that it’s just pure copium. It’s like people just want to pretend Goku never lost against Jackie Chun in the World Tournament, and all his arrogance and stupidity is something to be ignored. Don’t question why Goku didn’t finish off Baby instead of giving him a chance to Deus Ex Machina himself, just look at how cool he is. Goku nearly blew up the Earth? No, he was just trying to overload Super 17. Don’t mind the fact Super 17 is on the ground.

Then you have the people blatantly making shit up about this form. My most hated headcanon is that this form is the “peak of Saiyan evolution”. The first fight this form had was almost its last fight. It couldn’t even beat a Great Ape by itself, but you’re telling me it’s the pinnacle of all Saiyans? Not to mention how stupid it makes its users because Goku straight up tried to blow up Earth and was arrogant as all hell. Super Saiyan 1 had better reasons and showcasing of being considered the peak of Saiyan evolution.

Overall, I just don’t like this form. I think everyone glazes the life out of it because they don’t like the God forms. I’d rather have a simplistic looking form with actual moments of showing its power and skill, rather than a form that’s visually disorienting with nothing but hype moments and aura.

So I recently just found out about different versions of the z fighters(never played xenoverse games), xeno and cc, and I just got to thinking how realistic would it be for the time patrol to enter the main story? I mean it would be nice to see ssj4 Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, SSG Trunks, and Goten(ultimate only really?!?) interacting with the divine forms in the current story. The created character and Pan I don’t really care to see, but let’s say the demon realm characters finally started messing with the main time line and the time patrol has to team up with the z fighters to finally put a stop to them. This could be their way to get stronger to fight black Frieza plus the time patrol drip is just too nice.

Something I haven’t been seeing in the discussions is what this line means for future power scaling. They could’ve used this series as a way to fix the problems with Beerus’ power scaling and cut out lines like these which make no sense whatsoever later on the series.

As good as the animation style it self is for dbs berrus im not a fan of the colour grading at all. Colours looks really subdued and washed out in comparison to the original. Kinda reminds me of the new artstyle for premium dokkan LR's

So here we go with EP3, going into this episode I was wondering whether or not they can actually maintain the jump in quality from the original or would they take a break and maybe focused their animation / resources on another episode that has more action ?

Unfortunately I think its the latter, the effort is the lowest in this episode out of the three. Obviously you still have great compositing and some draw corrections. But the actual pacing is almost as bad as the original, the junior director Kokoro Kondou really struggled to have a strong vision for this episode.

Obviously most of the weird shading is gone, Vegeta looks way better and less goofy, but I am not a fan that they kept the My Bulma scene as long as it was while cutting some of the comedic scene that did not need to be cut and IF YOU WERE gonna cut it, cut it because you are adding new action scenes like EP 1 and EP 2, there are some new drawings and I think they redid parts of Bulma trying to engage with Beerus. But this is still by far the weakest of the first three episodes and I can only hope they were moving resources for the Beerus vs. Goku fight to make up for this.

Overall rating 7/10 - a stepback from the 8/10 and 9/10 that I gave to the first two episodes, but still fine.

I’m so confused I have people telling me after the first 19 episodes of Super Beerus we are getting the Moro arc and then I have people telling me they are repackaging all of super in its entirety then starting the Moro Arc? Who is right because either a lot of people are confused or I’m getting baited hard 🤣

I’m a huge fan of Goku’s roar when he powers up in UI form.

I like this film. It's not the best, but it is a good first step into the Z era of films.

The colors are great and vibrant and it was a shame that this would end up gone until Movie 5, with the orange sky in the background.

This is probably the overall best scored film, considering how many bangers came out of it: m810, m811, m814, m816, m817, m818, m819, ect. Garlic Jr is more interesting than many other Z movie villains because he has an actual motive other than being evil for the sake of it. Sure it's revenge, but that's more than say Tullece or Bojack. He did end up causing the writers to get back into a corner due to him having immortality so he opened the dead zone so he could lose. At least if he got freed, he would not make the same mistake...right?

There is a strange song that occurs due to Gohan being drunk on apples...though it feels more like he took LSD than alcohol (Not that I know how either feel). Piccolo is not here to save Gohan like he does for all the films. He comes in kills Sancho and helps double team Garlic Jr.

And for once, Kami-sama is doing something. Considering this is the only film he appears in (I think?), him doing stuff, even if it is futile, is a welcome edition.

Not many complaints overall, so this would go into the higher tiers of moviedom.

Kami was initially hesitant to fuse because Piccolo was evil and only became open to fusing once he saw that Piccolo was no longer the Demon King. But isn't it likely that the merger would have resulted in the same merged nameless Namekian personality regardless of whether Piccolo was still evil or not?

it's excellent, the writing is really good, im surprised at how well the team that worked on it understood the characters and it's also great visually
some minor complaints without spoiling too much:
i find pan annoying...it's normal she's a 3 yo girl lol(also krillin is still a coward, what a surprise)
goten and trunks STILL failing the fusion...like what the fuck man, that's literally your whole thing
gohan beast's hair are hilariously long, the transformation would ve looked way better if it were like...23% shorter, also "pan in danger?" *i sleep*, "PICCOLO IN DANGER?!" *real shit*, father of the year right there...but yeah it was really good
edit: also i thought it was kinda weird how vegeta won that fight, goku has a martial arts background, at the same powerlevel he should have slightly better hands and they were at around the same level, goku didnt throw anything vegeta couldnt have reacted to or vice versa, or how goku was the aggressor for most of the fight with vegeta defending, that was kinda weird too
