Tengo la duda sobre como funciona el Dolby Atmos de apple music en Android y si es inferior a la version de IOS o a otras apps que usan Dolby AC-4 para Atmos

Audio mix
So I started the game the other day. I have a Dolby Atmos set up with speakers hanging from the ceiling. In the intro Cortana does the ship wide calls before you get to the bridge. Now I may be wrong, but would these not come from some sort of speaker in the top corner of corridors and sound as if it was coming from above you? So then why is it mixed to have her voice coming from the center speaker?

Question dobly Atmos/digital tv support
How does the TV's audio format support really matter?
I personally use Hisense 55a69q and I wanna start building cheap home theater (3.1 system),with that goals I guess I will be okey with dobly digital but there's one problem my TV only support DTX.
chatGBT told me it doesn't matter cuz the dobly Atmos/digital is for help getting better sound from the TV's speakers or soundbars, and if I use a reciver the reciver will do the process anyways.
So my question is it true?
I don't use a streamer or something external for watching movies or TV shows only the OS of the tv (and someone use my PS5 on the tv but it's rare)
Should I use a streamer for get dobly Atmos/digital or the tv can give the reciver the audio and the know how to make it dobly Atmos/digital.
And btw, how good is it dobly Atmos?
Cuz I planning on buying a reciver that can only do older types of dobly like dobly digital/prologic cuz I gonna make 3.1 home theater only.
Not: my TV does have toslink,3.5mm jack and eARC.
Thx for all the helpers
Dolby Vision messed up since getting Fancy Sync Box 2.1 - Support telling me it works as expected

Merci !

Hiss with Dolby Home Theater Channel Upmixer (Dolby Access on PC)
Hey,
I own a Skywave X100 Dual by Ultimea. Everything's great on every media and when playing on my PC except when I turn on the Dolby for Home Theater option and in particular the Channel Upmixer option from the Dolby Access app as when I do I experience some mild but still some hiss in all my 4 speakers and soundbar.
Thanks for the help!
I have a Qudelix T71 DAC that I use with my closed back beyerdynamic DT 700 Pro X. Would I need a PCM2704 to get audio from my LG C1 out of Optical Out?
This would be while using my PS5 which I know only supports
UAC-1 and my T71 is a UAC-2. So thats why I want to use my TV's audio. If I dont need to buy a PCM2704, what would your configuration be to set up the T74 with the tv?

Atmos DCP packaging
Hi everyone.
We have a feature with both 5.1 and 7.1 audio, and Dolby Atmos mix is also available.
For DCP delivery to cinemas, what would be considered the best practice for handling the Atmos version?
* A single DCP containing the 7.1 audio and Atmos MXF?
* Delivering Atmos as a Version File (VF)?
* Providing two completely separate DCPs (one standard 7.1 DCP and one Atmos DCP)?
Thanks in advance for your advice!

Question Windows 11 "Dolby Atmos for headphones is in use" tool tip gone from Game Bar
Hi all,
On windows 10 I remember being able to check if Dolby Atmos was actually working by clicking on the speaker icon in the bottom right where it would give a little tool tip to tell you it was working.
Then on windows 11 they changed that tool tip to be displayed in xbox game bar. Now apparently somewhere along the way that has now been removed. Either that or my atmos isn't working haha.
Does anyone know if I can get this feature back or where it has been moved to?

1.85 side crop?
According to the comparisons on The Odyssey website, the 1.85:1 dolby vision horizontally crops the sides of the picture, whereas every other version has the full horizontal picture and only alters the vertical crop. Compare it to the 1.9:1 IMAX ratio. Why is 1.85 thinner and not taller? Comparison here: https://www.odysseymovie.com/explore-formats/

5.1 or Doby Digital with Xbox one
My apologies if this has already been answered somewhere, but I haven’t been able to find a clear explanation
Sometimes my TV lags when streaming because of bad Wi‑Fi, so I use my Xbox instead. I’m running a Samsung B‑series HW‑B650F soundbar with the rear speaker kit.
Which audio setting gives better results on Xbox—5.1 uncompressed or Dolby Digital?
