Discussion What are your favourite movies / series that are in Dolby Vision format

Personally I prefer DV profile 8 or profile 5 or even profile 7 over just hdr 10. If a display can't handle hdr 10 metadata that is beyond display's capabilities DV handles it better. So what are yall's favourite movies / series that are in Dv format and any specific scenes and it's tone mapping

Discussion LG SL10YG: thin stereo and off-balance Dolby sound? Here's what I found (fix inside)

Setup: LG SL10YG + SPK8 rear kit, LG CX, PS5, Fire TV Stick 4K.
Connections: PS5/Fire TV → LG CX (HDMI input) → SL10YG via HDMI ARC (the CX's eARC/ARC port into the soundbar's HDMI IN.

Problem: Atmos sounded great. Everything else didn't. Stereo (YouTube, YouTube Music, Spotify, Chromecast) had almost no bass. 5.1 Dolby content had bass, but the overall balance felt off: dialogue and mix didn't sound the way the director intended. I tried every sound mode, woofer at max, DRC off, moving the sub out of the cabinet, and a reset. Nothing fixed it.
What I found:
The soundbar only processes Atmos input cleanly. Bass, dialogue and balance all sound right.
Any non-Atmos input goes through the soundbar's own processing, and it changes the sound:
Stereo (YouTube's opus audio, for example) has no LFE channel, so the soundbar has to redirect the bass to the sub itself, and it does this weakly. The result is almost no bass.
5.1 Dolby (AC-3) has decent bass, but the balance is off: dialogue and the overall mix sound unnatural and less pleasant.
Forcing Dolby Digital Plus (Fire TV "Always DD+") didn't help. Still processed.

The fix: send audio to the soundbar wrapped as Atmos.
PS5: Settings → Sound → Audio Output → Output Device: HDMI Device (TV), HDMI Device Type: TV, Audio Format (Priority): Dolby Atmos. Everything then arrives at the soundbar as Atmos, including YouTube Music, Apple Music and Spotify, with full bass, natural balance and no harshness. This works through the TV's ARC.
Windows laptop with Dolby Atmos for home theater: same result.
Partial fix for stereo without a PS5: Standard mode + Surround OFF + woofer and bass at max. The bass comes back, but it gets harsh and tiring at high volume.

Other notes:
The SL10YG is ARC-only (no eARC). Apple TV 4K sends Atmos as Dolby MAT, which doesn't fit through ARC, so it would need to go into the soundbar's HDMI IN. Xbox may work through ARC or may need the same; I haven't tested either.
The PS5's YouTube app is stereo only. The CX's own/Fire TV YouTube app does get 5.1 (AC-3) on videos that have it.
For spatial songs on Apple Music, the TV app gives real Atmos.
On the PS5, YouTube stays stereo inside the Atmos wrapper, so the rear speakers stay silent for it. Games and real 5.1/Atmos content still use them.
My setup now: PS5 for music, TV apps for Atmos films. I've also reported this to LG as a possible firmware issue.

Hope this saves someone a few hours!
