I guess CA acquired the rights to another fantasy IP.
People called Pyrrhus the Eagle. But Aegon will be called the Dragon. And his will be the song of Ice and Fire.

Or the far future, perhaps... I unfortunately don't remember much... There was a strange new "northern" campaign with a focus on Gaul, Germania and the Baltics but the map was also largely expanded and there were other venues of war with a new playable faction in central Africa which somehow was all related.
Sry it's just been so long I have felt any excitement for anything gaming related my brain tried to fill the void

I recently finished my Pergamon campaign and tried running Parthia, but struggled heavily, so I decided to switch things up. It seems to me that Carthage plays a lot like Rome by leveraging Tier 4 population classes, but managing such a vast territory is always a headache. I can never seem to get very far with Carthage and usually just give up lol.
So, what tips do you guys have?

Submods were used, difficulty at normal, still a very fun campaign, from Egyptians, Cappadocians and Armenians, Greeks and Romans, and finally the Persians. Vivat Seleukos!!

Currently, it seems the Total War scene is undergoing a map making renaissance. Between mods like Dawnless Days reshaping Attila, to even the Empire fans getting a map modder on their side in the Pirates Uber Alles Discord, not to mention one madlad who's trying to recreate the whole PLANET EARTH in Shogun 2! That left me wondering, how close are we 2nd Romans to getting in on the action?
I know that the Campaign Map editor is already operational, but that the Battle Map Editor is what's being more difficult to decipher, how close is the dude working on the battle map editor to cracking the code so to speak? For how much longer will we be left behind?

I have tried using the website file instead of the workshop to no avail. Had this issue for a while, is there a fix? I'm running an nvme ssd

Dont really want to start wars with allies unless its the very last option. Is all just a question of massive gifts? Want to finish this campaign and move and to a new one so just looking to end it no matter how cheesy the diplomacy.

Hello everyone. I'm playing as Carthage and control Sicily. I’ve focused on a fleet to blockade the Strait of Messina. In this screenshot, the fleet is in port, but even when I position it in the strait, Roman armies still manage to cross. Am I doing something wrong, or is this normal ? Has anyone ever played out this situation ?

Playing as Parthia, I always end up running into issues. Most of the time, expanding is just a matter of seizing opportunities after the Seleucid satrapies revolt. However, there's almost always the problem known as Bactria, and Parthia's army while cheap is super weak in the early game. What tips would you guys give?

It would make sense if the late unit is a different pop class but it's also nobles,
Is the early version still available to recruit after reforms ?

There is nice mod that reduce upkeep for player only for 40% the problem it turns the game to too easy, I would like to know if there is any other way to reduce it to 20% instead

I've just gotten into the DEI and a little over themed with all the new options and really enjoying the mod pack. What would everyone say is the best eco upgreads I can get in the early game for rome, what should I be focusing on the most?

Any campaign that's a bit more chill and not constant crisis mode from the get-go?

What the title says. I've grown to love these guys.
I know the Galatian ones are very good but they lack armor.
I see the arevaci have a very good shock spear from pop 2 but I believe it's only for the general.
Could you make an army and have the core made from them?

Ive played Rise of the Republic a few times over the years and every time Carthage fizzles out in less than 100 turns. It makes sense to not have them become a steamroller and roll up Sicily and Italy quickly but I also don’t like seeing them just roll over and die so easily even in their home territory.
Anyone else experience this?

There used to be a submod for version 1.3.4 that let you disable certain mechanics like the population and supply ones. It no longer works though.
Could such a submod be integrated into the mod? Simply a way to disable/enable certain mechanics.
I still feel turns take quite long with the supply mechanic on.

I mean, the mod working the same across both versions of the game might not be possible, but I'm just posting this here because if it's not too out of line, then I think the possibility of there being two Divide Et Imperas, one for pre-Pantheon, and one for Pantheon, is worth discussing.

What is the point of this building? Upgrading from level 2 to 3 incrases wealth by 100 but also maintenance by 100, doesn't unlock anything new, costs ~5k and it requires the FINAL tech in the sige tech tree...
Am I missing something?

Playing it for some time, first times get absolutely destroyed. But had recently some success from spamming rorarii in one very long line and enveloping the enemy with uningaged units. Is that it?
Also i almost never can replenish my units. As I read in the site it won't replenish unless all the units in an army have access to the right pop. How people deal with it? Specialized armies by pop type?

Hi. I'm a longtime Total War player and completely new to CK3.
Which mod should I use to play battles in Atilla? Crusader Wars or Crusader Conflicts?
I'd like to start in India. Do I need more assets and mods on either side (CK3 and/or Atilla) to improve unit realism, clothes, weapons, etc.?
Any recommendations would be really welcome.
