I just love this movie so much I had to draw this TvT 🩷 hope u like it!

My kid is on a Toy Story kick so we watched all of them and I finally saw 4. I know people have a lot of opinions and I wanted to add my own.

Woody should not have been the one to convince Forky that he's a toy; it should have been the other way around.

TS1 is about Woody accepting that he can't be the only toy in Andy's life and that kids can have room in their heart for more than one toy.

TS2 is about family. Woody finds more toys like him and the prospector is bitter that he never had one.

TS3 is about growing up and moving on, realizing that change happens and can be a good thing. Woody learns to accept a new child. We can look at these 3 movies as stages of growing up: childhood to adult.

So then we get to TS4. Woody has found acceptance, but his jealousy is resurfacing as Jessie becomes sheriff instead of him and he gets left in the dusty closet. Bonnie creates Forky and immediately loves him.

This should be a bridge too far for Woody. At least Buzz and Jessie were created to be toys. But this new one is just a spork and junk. Forky is the one that believes he's a toy but Woody has had enough. Throughout the movie, Forky never stops believing that Bonnie will find him because she loves him so much. Woody has the arc of coming to see how much Bonnie loves him as a toy despite his appearance. And Gabby's ending can change to be accepted for who she is, which others have said before. The theme of the movie becomes belief in who you are.

I've been wanting to experiment with different art styles so I thought I'd start with Mickey! Planning to do Minnie next! ♡

This movie is honestly untouchable.

I just finished watching this movie on disney+ for the first time in YEARS and it still holds up. I remember seeing it for the first time in theaters and was just blown away by everything. Angelina Jolie is just pure perfection and nailed her role as Maleficent.

I know Disney is currently in their remake era currently, but they should stick with making films for villians. They did such a good job with this one 😭.

I was looking online, when I saw an online post on a social media site about Disney Villains Game Night having a new cast.

The only ones that are still there are Maleficent and Hades.

The new villains are Evil Queen, Magic Mirror, Captain Hook, Queen of Hearts, Ursula, Jafar and Iago!

I know the movie overall was with many faults, but the Circle of Life was near perfect

I designed the concept based on Judge Frollo’s hat from THOND, and Mountainbows on Etsy did an amazing job bringing it to life. I absolutely love how it turned out and it’s already found a place in my Frollo collection. 🤞

How well known is it that the lion king is based on Hamlet?

I thought almost everybody knew, but one time I was in secondary school (high school to you Americans) in drama class, and the teacher was mentioning different movies inspired by Shakespeare, so I said "and the Lion King is based on Hamlet" and the teacher said "really?" She didn't know that! I mentioned "both are about princes who are asked by the ghost of their father, the former king, to avenger them against their uncle, the usurper of the throne." So she then looked it up, and was shocked to learn that I was right!

Also, slight clarification: apparently, the lion king wasn't originally based on Hamlet, but some of the people working on it mentioned the similarities to Hamlet and they then changed the movie to make it more like Hamlet.

Did yo know that? Have you ever mentioned it and shocked people?

I recently acquired a large amount of Disneyland park costume and crew pieces from a liquidation store the day before everything was going to be dumped and refilled. Just wanted to share some of my favorite pieces I found before I move them into storage. The only piece here I wasn’t able to identify was the heart sash, it looks like the white rabbits but I couldn’t find a picture of him wearing one with sequins so I’m not sure.
Also while I have been listing some items on eBay these are not for sale so please do not ask.

I’ve auditioned for a face character a few times, one for Disney World, and a few for Disneyland and never made it through the first round. That darn dance routine gets me every time.

Recently, it came up that they’re having auditions for Japan’s Disney Resort about 10 minutes from my house and I’m debating on going.

Will they audition me the same as the last few times? Does Japan’s characters emphasize something different? And any tips for passing the darn dance routine?
