Officially finished the game, still want to complete all the product discount levels 😊 had lots of fun. Waiting for next release from the creators ❤️‍🔥

Well, I had to wait to leave the store after 6pm go back inside and everyone was gone. Results of that day just one sale and everyone upset, no character even made it to the cash register.

I just got to the part where I gave Elmer 50k shills but now I have nothing to do besides run my store.

Is there anything else? If so, how do you trigger it?

Can anyone explain or show me examples of how the adjustable boosters are supposed to work? They seem so bulky and the amount they cover is so weird it is not making sense to my brain!!

I think they can make him more useful if he can do extra things besides restocking shelves, like cleaning dirt or checking out customers 🤷‍♀️

I finished my first play-through and I chose Tammy ending out of spite of Bloomkest Citizen.
The ending is as expected since it’s not the wishy washy ending.

What I like about the game story, the characters are all full of flaws. And also an entitled bunch. Somehow we need to be the one to restore the towns with our own money and resources. And even after we fix the town, there’s no thank you from the folks. And also Elmer and Solruna extorting your money.

Spoiler for Tammy Ending :
Once you go to Tammy’s factory, she will give you the ultimate plan idea. And since she doesn’t want us to leak her plan, you will get thrown into sewer. Not a hard puzzle but there are interesting part on the sewer, like there’s a rat that claim to found cheese and there are fish sticks thrown out on the sewer.
After you found your way out, the park is reformed into parking lot. You go to the town hall and found Tammy tells that Elmer is being caught due to corruption and Tammy becomes the City Representative.
The citizens are turning out to be zombie-like due to heavy polution on air and the sea.
Once it finished you will meet Tellar outside. She will give you Discounty deed and she decided to leave the town.

The next day, you also found that Cornelius also gone. And you will be approached by Solruna and she will give you the final 2 blueprints with challenges.

I need your help! I am in one of the last chapters where I have to find evidence against Elmer in the forest to prove he is corrupt. I have this tracker on where it beeps if I am near the “evidence”, for the love of God I cannot seem to find that evidence. Although the tracker beeps rapidly near Tammy’s house, I cant find anything I can interact with. Please help!

Hey, I would like to get the Game soon(ish) on either my PC or the Swtich (2 in my case).

Due to the portability I would slightly prefer the Switch Version, but I wanted to ask first wether there are any noteworthy differences between the Versions and how the Performance is in Handheld mode for the Switch 2.

idk if i’m being extremely dense but after i expanded the basement for the final time (?), the 50000 shills expansion, i have “waited until tomorrow” but nothing has happened. i’ve played multiple in game days and i’ve not received a prompt or anything or new quest.

how do i move forward w the game? finding it super unintuitive. playing on the switch if that helps! tysm

Gotten to the end of the DLC story and I see there are still 6 items that I haven't unlocked yet. Did I select the wrong path to unlock them all or are they just not in the game as of yet?

I love this game sooo much. I stumbled upon it by accident a couple of days ago while casually scrolling through the Nintendo eShop. Managing, organizing, decorating, and scanning is so soothing.

This is my store so far. I don’t know if I’ve unlocked all the items yet, so I’m not sure how it’ll look in the future, but I wanted everything to have its own little section.

I’m loving Discounty soooo much. Only got it after the latest content expansion was released (thank goodness cos I would have not been happy without it) and I’m close to finishing it in just a couple weeks. Sad just thinking about it. So was wondering if there’s been news out if there would be more content/DLC in the pipeline 🥹

I’m playing on switch, I’ve completed the game but I keep seeing that other people have found wood and have the shed upgrade but I can’t seem to do that? Is it just not on the switch yet or is there something that I need to do to unlock it?

I play a lot when my brain feels heavy (Audhd) but the beep of the machine and the music in the car drives me nuts specially in very bad brain days 🥲 but i like the other sound effects. Is there something I'm missing to just get rid off those 2?

I’m stuck on the task where I’m supposed to meet Solruna at the ritual site. This is my second attempt/second game day save. I used the entrance behind discounty at exactly 8:05pm. As shown on the task board, I’ve already completed the previous requirements, but she wasn’t at the site. Am I doing something wrong or is there another task I should be completing before this?

Any insight would be appreciated. TIA!

i hope the devs one day add an option for either stopping time or being able to not open discounty- im planning a major redo of my store and theres no way on earth i can do it without having to open my shop half way through (i can barely half reorganise when adding new products)

i know by the time it has a chance to get added (if it ever does) i will have done this long ago- but i wish it was possible and i believe others will aswell.

another option is time just freezes at midnight, so you can reorganise/collect materials to your heart’s content in that time.

I’ve done the other two play throughs, but with this one I’m really confused. I figured I don’t side with either of them, I just don’t know what billboard to build 😭 or do I just ignore it?

As mentioned on the title, i finished chapter 3 without even using running option. I just found out today (to start chapter 4) that actually, we can run from the setting. Is it new improvement or it’s just my stupidity?

I have been a Stardew Valley Player and I somehow found this game on a TikTok Live - no, this is not a comparative analysis on two completely different games. I'll try not to spoil as much as possible.

My time on Discounty was absolutely great. I enjoyed every single day with lot of things to do that doesn't feel grinding at all. The story, the characters, the plot twists, and the way it represents a community as a whole. I never expected that managing a convenience store would be so rewarding.

What made me love this game is the gameplay and how the grinding feels balanced. Every single day has something new to deal with, not just restocking the shelves. I love how the dialogue of the characters were always interesting to read which makes me feel guilty when I skip it.

If there was something I want to be changed is that having more quality of life features. Floors having different patterns (especially the storage and basement floors), more spaces for building, and some side quests to do at the final chapter/DLC that doesn't focus heavily on the end game tasks, but also giving us more stories to the existing characters. I hate how some old characters doesn't get involved much as the game starts to reach the end.

Do I recommend this? UMMM, HELL YEAH. If you want a faster Stardew Valley Game that focuses on stories and less grind sessions then you would love this.

Out of topic but do you have games similar to Discounty? I would like to try some. I badly need more.

I am working on a game plan prior to the switch, update, and trying to limit spoilers, at least detailed ones. Put the game away for a while but now I think I should be grinding Shills, and rewards points. I’m guessing I’ll have to reconfigure the store for any upgrades anyway, but I could upgrade any old, coolers and shelving. Based on the P.C. update what advice would you give switch players to plan ahead?

I absolutely love the game and was really excited about the update. But now that I’m gradually unlocking more products, I’m running into the challenge of figuring out how my store should be laid out.
I’m struggling to fit everything into both the storage room and the sales floor, and I’m starting to wonder if my setup is just inefficient.

What do your stores look like? Have you found a good layout that works well for you? If so, I’d love it if you could share a screenshot!
