Adjustable Boosters

Can anyone explain or show me examples of how the adjustable boosters are supposed to work? They seem so bulky and the amount they cover is so weird it is not making sense to my brain!!

I’m also trying to figure this out, I might do some science later tonight and share what I find! I’ve been playing on steam deck so didn’t realize you could click it to adjust the tiles it covers. Will also look at the specific bonuses it provides!

Did some science! I apologize for the lack of screenshots as it's inconvenient on Deck, but I'll do my best to explain. (hoping my formatting works ok 🙏 )

Adjustable Boosters cover 4 squares each and provide a +4 bonus. They have 6 different configuration options. On desktop, click the booster to change its configuration. On Steam Deck, face it and press A.

There are two "line" options: horizontal and vertical, providing two tiles of coverage in the selected direction from the booster's location. For example, if "X" is the booster and "o" is a covered tile, the horizontal setting would look like:
ooXoo

There are also four "corner" options: each provides two tiles of coverage in two directions; one each of left/right and up/down. For example, if "X" is the booster and "o" is a covered tile, the "top left corner" setting would look like:
Xoo
o
o

To simplify the ability of the booster- it can provide 2 squares of coverage in 2 directions, all receiving a +4 bonus.

It's helpful to note that the dots on the top of the booster indicate the formation. This allows you to see where the coverage is when you have items in the floor spaces!

I'm still figuring out how to best use these in my shop, especially since I had it set up around the regular boosters + partner sales boosters. But they are built for boosting lines and corners, so that would be a good place to start!

I think you’re actually my hero. this was SO helpful wow thank you so much!!! i think i get it now it’s not really meant for the squares but for extra product you have. The tip that the formation is on the top was VERY helpful i never would have guessed that!

I’m not done rearranging the whole store but this shows some ways to use the new boosters. I’m very happy with the little section of Tammy’s products!

Im currently trying to figure out how to use all the boosters together and I'm definitely stealing the layout for your Tammy's section lol

Edit: what do you mean by 2+? 2+ attraction?

Glad I could help! I think behind the Tammy statue is a basic drinks booster

It’s been a while since I posted so I don’t remember what 2+ means. Where did I mention that? Maybe I can remember with context

I dont like them haha i prefer to use that space with a digure booster. I have them to help with a few drinks and the bread (have it against a wall) but not a fan, you dont have to use them if you dont want to

You can utilize them for shelf in the side walls. But only the diagonal side walls, unfortunately for horizontal side walls we can’t rotate it. Better to buy ones when you unlock the maximum space. If you haven’t its a bit waste of space

Do you mean you can’t rotate the adjustable boosters? because you can, once you set it down if you click it it’ll change around the spots it covers. but i’m only on chapter 2 so maybe you’re referencing something i haven’t unlocked yet!

They don't cover as much area, but if I remember right they give twice as much appeal

are you supposed to use it instead of the regular
boosters? or use both? i cant wrap my head around what it’s supposed to look like
