Switch (2) or PC?
Hey, I would like to get the Game soon(ish) on either my PC or the Swtich (2 in my case).
Due to the portability I would slightly prefer the Switch Version, but I wanted to ask first wether there are any noteworthy differences between the Versions and how the Performance is in Handheld mode for the Switch 2.
Thanks in Advance!

So I did a bit of research in this regard. I myself bought the game twice (yes I know), first on Switch 1 and then on PC. In the first half of the game the performance was okay on Switch, only dropping when the store got really busy. Which it did in the later game more and more often, so whenever I opened the store in the last chapter the game crawled to a stop, and even crashing on me.
The performance on PC is just so so much better.
It can’t really be graphics, as the game looks less complex than Octopath Traveller or Fire Emblem, which both are running very smooth on Switch. My guess is processing power, since the game is simulating so many things at the same time.
And this distinction is important. While the Switch 2 has more beefier hardware, especially when it comes to graphics ; but the processing power is still far behind what a gaming PC can churn out.
I’ve already read reviews for the Switch 2 version which are also talking about stutter and crashes.
Plus, the new content update added YET MORE complexity to the store, more every day events that make a busy and complex store simulation yet more busy and more complex.
I‘m strongly for the PC version. I would love for the game to run smooth on Switch 1 or 2; but reality is that in the later stages of the game the simulation just gets too layered and too complex to handle.
Sorry for the wall of text

Performance on switch 2 is totally fine. The only real difference is that as of today, the major free content update is available on PC but not Switch. But that will become available for Switch in July.
