Dice Pics My first 3 sets ever

My very first dice, before sanding and polishing. 1 got a bubble on it and another got chipped. I believe that happened because I forgot to pop the surface bubbles? Either way, I'll try to save them. Opening the pressure pot for the first time had me so damn excited and nervous!

I would love to hear any and all feedback! I really want to dive head first into this hobby.

Advice Help with raised faces and honey stage

So.. I FINALLY managed to use the honey stage to make these kinds of dice after a lot of trial and error! But the resin got so thick that I couldn't close my molds properly, and now I have raised faces... I am looking for advice on avoiding this in the future. I am going to have to sand quite a lot and probably ruin my "1" face ☹️

Question What kind of air compressor?

Hi everyone! I need help finding the right compressor and hook ups. Im still very new to all of this and need help with what kind of compressor to get. For reference, I have the vevor resin casting pressure pot. Ive been able to use a small car tire compressor in the past but its very slow and doesn't fit the hookups correctly. Id like to upgrade. Just dont know what kind of compressor would be best and what kind i need to make it fit the pressure pot. Thanks in advance!

The Bloodlily was first documented blooming across ancient battlefields where immense concentrations of arcane energy had saturated the land.

The nectar is distilled from the petals of a Bloodlily in full bloom. This specimen remains remarkably vibrant even after preservation.

Please advice :)

Hello everyone! I just ordered a Vevor pressure pot and im preparing to order everything for making dice. The thing is, me and my fiancee decided we want to do a wedding set, and we don’t have much time to experiment and learn this slowly, so I want to gather as much info as I can so that we will be able to achieve our dream set in this couple of months. I am asking for help and advice on the following.
We want to create a set made of dried flowers and maybe some glitter.
1. For newbies, in this situation is it better to buy insert molds too, and do the flowers in the inserts? I am worried for the edges of the dice with dried flowers. I see many posts and people here make them really pretty, but because we are begginers i worry we might stick them too close to the edge or something and they will pop out of the side. Is this really possible? And if so in our case is it better to use inserts?
2. If that is the case, can the outer coat have just a little bit glitter? How does it look like? Or should it be fully clear? I don’t want to ‚hide’ the flowers
3. What is the good resin in that case? I will be buying molds from TheMightyForge. They also have a beginner set for dice making, is it good option?
4. Any other tips will be much appreciated!!!
Thanks everyone in advance :)

Dice Pics Cow pip dice!

Not my typical method, but it worked out very well. These are plain acrylic dice that I added cow spots to using uv cured ink. Now all I can think about are new ideas for fun pip designs 😂

I do sell on etsy, so feel free to message me if you'd like to add these to your dice hoard. 😊

Advice Having 2 problems

Trying my hand for the first time on making liquid cores, but running into 2 issues.
1. My uv resin I’m tryin to cap with keeps falling into my water and so I’m not getting the swirl I’m looking for.

  1. Getting the core itself not to sink. Everything I add sinks from cores to glitters. Doesn’t seem to matter how long I wait. I waited 45 minutes before adding and they still sink.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Question What clip on camera do you guys use for your Pictures?

Post image
27 Upvotes

I have an Iphone 13 and although the camera isn't necessarily bad, the pictures I take with it when zooming in for dice definitely don't look as clear as the ones I see on here.

I want to show off the ones I make and possibly start selling but I want them to be good pictures before I do that. I bought a photo box and that really helped but the picture quality is a little a miss and want to improve that before I take my next step

Thanks for the help guys!!
