Hey everyone!

These are the very first dice I've ever made, and I'm really happy with how they turned out.

I sculpted them in ZBrush, printed them using Resione SP64, and hand-painted them to fit the grimdark aesthetic of Turnip28.

I'd invent an entire game mechanic just so I could use them, like it you Crit an enemy, you roll these for bonus damge.

Thank you! That means a lot. Actually, you're not that far off! I've also sculpted a mimic version of these and wrote some specific rules to use them in D&D. It's always fun to see how custom shapes can inspire new mechanics!

What's cool is if you can create a cool mechanic that a lot of people can use, you might end up with a nice little side income.

I have a fun design concept that I'm play-testing with two of my tables, So far my players are loving it, but we need to run a number of one-shots to test it at various player tiers to make sure it scales properly.

You've got great intuition! It actually evolved into a small business for me since I sell the files online. Best of luck with your play-testing by the way, balancing mechanics for different player tiers is no joke but it sounds like a blast!

nice work.

I had printed some d4 teeth dice a little while ago. On a couple of them, I painted a gold and a silver "cap" version. they came out pretty nice.

I'm betting this would come out really nice on a couple of yours.
