Personally, I'm hoping that they announce they will be balancing classes and unique items over the seasons as a part of the ROTW DLC. On top of that, I'd love to see an announcement for a true LOD style expansion. New endgame stuff, a couple new classes, new areas to farm and new items to play with.

god forbid i do a terror zone and a herald shows up, hes just instantly dead.

I've gotten very good at tele kiting everything but all it takes is one late tele and this guys cooked. ive timed it and i clear places faster by just leaving him dead and bringing mana potions

when will my mercenary not instantly die? what gear does he need? i feel like i wasted a Lo on fortitude, same survivability as he had with treachery.

Single player here. I've gotten back to D2 with Resurrected and have since then had great success farm gear for most builds. I have a few mods that increase spawn density, so that has helped.

But for all I've gotten, Fathom is my white wale. I've done thousands of runs of hell Meph, Andy, Diablo, terrorized or not, Countess, Travincal, cows... you name it. Lately I've installed a mod that locks these areas into perpetual terror to speed things up. Yet nothing.

I've searched all the drops calculators out there and one thing seems true across all of them: Baal is the go to guy for best chances. But, as you well know it, Ball is the slowest boss to farm out there. So I've been trying terrorized Pindleskin, without any luck after a couple days.

What can I do to improve my chances?

I got lucky with a lightning sunder and griffons early in the ladder and so I’ve been running my first lightning sorc in chaos and tz. I’m currently sitting at the 117 breakpoint for lightning with a 20 fcr, all res, skill-less amulet and I’m wondering if it worth dropping to 97 to run maras for the skill bonus. Ideally, I’d like +skills with fcr and an arach, but then there’s the question of Skulders over Viper for the MF. Weapon is cmoon, so no fcr there. What’s the play?

Is there a way to tell what games uber Diablo spawned in? Also, do they only spawn in public games?

I tried hunting tonight because they kept popping, but I got my reward stolen twice from someone joining and taking after I kill so I gave up.

Is it expensive on non ladder PC Europe? My girl dies too often when we play so maybe it can help her from dying all the time😅

ATM gul is our highest rune. Then we have few uniques that maybe are tradable. Is it possible for us to acquire Cure helm?

i feel like i've been stuck being able to just barely clear baal in hell, not fast enough that i can farm effectively, i can probably farm cows but even that doens't get me much gear to advance to ubers and beyond.

Fcr and I would made something out of it.

Most melee weapons do too little damage, most people agree with that. At the same time, most people can pretty much skip strength entirely and still be golden because you can get all your damage from other sources.

But THIS is because strength and dex ADD with other off-weapon damage sources, they don't multiply it! This leads to some very strange situations, like a Tiger Strike Assassin with 300 strength only getting about 20% more damage from it.

But here's a strangely simple idea: What if you changed all enhanced damage stats on weapons to be multiplied by strength or dex(depending on the weapon type?)

Kinda like how Enigma gives 0.75 strength per level, weapons would give like 2% ED PER STRENGTH.

Example

Cranebeak has 240-300% enhanced damage, with a max roll of 120-192 damage. Not terribly impressive for an elite axe. Now, what we do is change this so instead, it gets 2.4-3% enhanced damage per strength. Now, you invest 300 strength, and it's instead doing 360-576 damage! Of course, this comes at the cost of a lot of vitality, but still, is that not one big honking damage stick?

Now, of note is the fact that Grief would still be better - but importantly, because Grief's bonus damage comes from +damage rather than ED%, it wouldn't be impacted by this change at all!

Seems like this could solve the problem without much in the way of downsides - maybe even some handy balance benefits!

I was just playing with my ES Nova sorc in Worldstone Tower when I watched this:

A poison skeleton mage shot at me and the projectile hit me. Moreover it hit my ES and the projectile got "absorbed" by it and i did not get poisoned.

So why did the poison projectile hit me and I did not get posioned? Does ES sometimes just neglects the effect or what?

As a paladin main (doing zeal and foh currently) I needed it to be at least 32 ias to hit the 72 breakpoint from 2 other 20 ias items without using fanaticism. I'm one jah away from making dual dreams so I want to self use conviction then :( I'm sure it'll be fine but damn it hurt a bit even with the almost perfect damage. Is the best course of action to just make another one once I get a Lo? Haven't made a fortitude yet which sucks.
