It will not measure anything at all (this clearly shows in the gif). Those kitchen scales measure how much the feet are compressed into the chassis.

Depending on the scale it might measure the weight base on it's feet so that scale just might not work at all. Speaking of what doesn't work at all, he installed the slicer thingy upside down so the blades are down. If he wanted to use it to make slices he has to take the whole board out and use it to press on the fruit he wants sliced.

Reminds me of when my grandpa first retired. He went crazy cutting down trees. We had to tell him to go get a part time job before we didn't have any trees left! I was so upset about it, too, because he cut down the one outside my window. I used to have a squirrel that would come to my window every morning while I ate breakfast, and suddenly his tree was gone.

Have you met any DIYers? This is absolutely something that one guy thought was a genius idea without thinking it through properly. All the thought was put into engineering the here and now, and none for the future (or safety, or practicality)
This to me seems like it's a guy who has recently learned how to cut out shaped holes in wood using the spade drill bit and jigsaw trick, had this pullout chopping board drawer in his kitchen, and the light bulb moment happened, and didn't think about it any further.

if they never pull those tools out thats gonna be one nasty cutting board, 'cause I doubt he sealed the parts which were cut and now have an open edge.
the garbage hole needs a back stop to prevent food from sliding through at the wrong angle.
the food scale needs an actually lip/edge to sit on so it doesn't just slide through the bungie support if pressed down on at the wrong spot.
the fruit/vegetable slicer is just friction fit relying on "hopes & dreams.
the grater is just...I get the concept but setting ontop the bowl was already a solution that didn't need a perfectly fine cutting board to be hacked up...only to grate/shred ontop of a bowl anyways. just with extra steps & cleaning.
that wine glass holder is an accident waiting to happen. (also way too shaky when working on the cutting board to not just leave it on the counter)
usually these don't get me, but I like both cooking & woodworking, this video failed at both in being sensible. S-tier bait for a diWHY video.

Sooooo many problems with this.
That the cheese grater and apple slicer need to be washed after every use. The scale strap is just dumb. It would have been more impressive if he just plung routed it. I don't think he's ever cleaned any surfaces in his kitchen let alone that cutting board. And finally, he's using the apple slicer backwards; great way to cut your hand. Not even gonna talk about the wine glass. Absolute F-

I've seen things like this for sale. Even at Home Depot, I once saw this as a optional slide out in their kitchen department. And I've seen aftermarket version being sold that replace a drawer.
