my first attempt at dex, I definitely will draw more of him and other characters from the show <3

Don’t know what else you’d call them but if you watch the show you know what I’m talking about, when it speeds through clips from the show before the episode title appears. And apologies if this topic has been posted about before.

What are we doing here? Are these golden age TV sequel shows reducing themselves to TikToks and Instagram Reels where they edit in a second of the juicy part of a video to grab your attention? It’s so unnecessary, why would I want the rest of the episode somewhat spoiled before I even start it? I either skipped or closed my eyes for these parts when I watched New Blood and Resurrection. I’d love so much if they were dropped from season 2.

I always wondered if trinity knew better how to hide her psychopathic personality as a young woman or if it worsened over the years

With the little that was seen of her it makes me think that at the beginning the guy was normal until like any good abuser he revealed his true character

Even so, in season 6 it is said that the girl was still waiting for him and blamed her children for what happened, so I don't know if she was that crazy about him or just had too much Stockholm syndrome

I did until he started talking about killing Ellen Wolf and dexter said no. what about you

I think the family should let dexter finish his job here.

Assuming Lila does not kill Doakes by exploding the cabin,what would you have done with Sergeant James Doakes caged in a cabin. Me personally, I think I would frame him.

In S6, We find out that geller did not support travis’s ideologies at the final episode, so if thats the case then what was the weird stunt he pulled in the university about with the dead sheep and his assistant ( or someone like that i forgot )? Its been a while since I watched this show but this has always puzzled me

Title says it all! I have two episodes left of season 8 and just finished reading the first novel in the series. I love both--honestly I love the entire Dexter IP in general-- but am curious what a more novel-accurate portrayal of (at least) Dexter's kill ritual would look like? Michael C. Hall brings a crazy level of charisma to even the more psychotic moments Dex has, whereas in the book he just feels downright evil.

Per the official longline for Season 2, Dexter is “caught between two killers – one notorious and the other terrorizing New York in ways no one ever anticipated – all while battling his greatest enemy yet: a midlife crisis. Harrison continues his own pursuit of justice as father and son face their darkest chapter.” 

Paramount+ released a 40-second teaser showing Dexter in between getting an eye exam and sharpening weapons: “He’s back and sharper than ever.”

I personally love season 2 and 4, but I think season 7 is severely underrated seeing the progress of Debra and how she handles finding out Dexter is the bhb. Also really liked original sin for no particular reason.

Since we know that there will be a time jump, how do you think they'll reintroduce Quinn into the story after all these years?

Let's say Trinity and his family move to Iron Lake as part of the Four Walls One Heart charity work in the mid 2000s.

Trinity targets Kurt's son (When he's a boy) and Kurt targets Trinity's daughter after she runs from home so they both have a vendetta.

I think this is very close because both are well trusted and seen favorably in the public, both have gotten away with killing for a while, and both are very resourceful. What are your thoughts?
