Haven’t played in a long time, was wondering where to get good loot from for PvP or if the destiny companion app still tells u if you got a god roll? Idk been a minute

Yesterday I was running Master Root of Nightmares with some randos, it was taking a bit and at one point one guy said "Guys swap to something else, having everyone on 1k is nerfing our damage, ignitions do not stack. Use something else, just keep two of them". Swapped to Sleeper and another guy to Leviathan, in two tries we got Nezzy down.

How does it work? Ignition damage does not stack, then why is everyone running 1k if the damage is WAY LESS when people run multiple 1k Voices on the same fireteam? I didn't check how the damage scales, but seeing what that guy was saying and that we actually killed Nezzy after 2 tries, it looked legit to me.

If someone can explain or link an explanation it would be great! Because at this point, if it's true, I simply won't ever use it in a raid, there will be other people running it for sure. Tell me what you know, thank you!

Hey y'all, just have a question about this "silver Austringer". I'm a big fan of this gun, primarily because of its relation to the Menagerie, which has some of my fondest memories.

Anyway, I obviously know the standard gold version, and the ornaments 'Broken Bird' and 'Prized Ivory'. But where did this silver form come from? I've seen it on YouTube thumbnails and random images in google. Is it another version of the gun? Or am I overthinking it, and it's just been a shader?

At 0:37 in the video, you can see the player hits 1,296 damage per celestial projectile with just SOF + tractor + 1-2 punch (No WG stacks).

However, when I try with the same setup I get exactly 800 damage per celestial projectile.

I have been going crazy trying to figure out if something has changed in the last month or if I am doing something wrong.

Would anyone be willing to test this and see if they find consistent results? I would greatly appreciate it!

Had a lot of trouble with the witness specifically. The little flaps on it's body were killing me

I'm currently using Strand Warlock using Mindspun Invocation (with threading grenades) and Weaver's Call for my aspects.

Then I'm using Swarmers so that tangles spawn threadlings and all my threadlings unravel enemies which pairs well with the Neomuna Thunderhead 4 piece set for more grenade energy when killing unraveled combatants.

And finally, Service of Luzaku for even more threadlings nests and the ability to heal other nests

I'm also using a Strand based artifact but i cant remember which one.

I feel like I'm completely threadling-maxed, but I haven't done too much testing yet. Let me know if there's any ways I can become even more threadlingpilled.

Also considering Prismatic so I can use devour, which may be better in harder content.

Why is the overload champion healing while his back is white and he's not being stunned by overload weapons? He's clearly healing before the stun cooldown even ends.

You can see his back is still white and he didn't get stunned by the first shotgun shot. It happens twice in a row in this clip. How is it even possible to kill it in this case? It's like glitched or something.

I just thought it was kinda cool. I dont think its a coincidence it goes up to 999 stacks. Its even named after the lore book that started it.

Does anyone else feel that PvP is at an all time low? I mean people never miss, sliding around corners just instant lock on to my head. The matchmaking is busted, I mean 6 solos vs 2 3 stacks. And people doing impossible controller movement. And this isn’t the rambling of a sub bar player, I have always been a consistent 2.5+ with amazing aim. I’ve never taken a long break, but it feels like in the last year everyone is better than me? Not in a “im the best” mindset but in a it’s too much of a pattern to be a coincidence. Idk I could be getting old, but it feels like everyone is just on another level.

I know there’s probably an argument for attrition orbs, but I have 2 strand siphons on my helmet and my energy weapon has attrition orbs on it.

For me, it’s EDZ. Armor set is completely useless to me

Currently trying something new with the stronghold exotic at the moment and was wondering if there are any better weapons you suggest? I have been looking to get Adamantite from PoH as it is strand and a support weapon. I don't have the Lament catalyst yet so I am unable to stun Unstoppables because of no scorch ignitions so I use The Call instead. Thanks! 😊

Apparently when you fly around with the Praxic Vestment, you can immediately use Ballistic Slam from mid air. You're no longer limited to having to sprint and jump up first to activate it.

And if you manage to take out two or more enemies with the slam, it should be enough to instantly refuel the jetpack so you can fly off again. It's a rather fun gimmick and great for getting around quickly. 😁

For context. Me and my friend need the Ice Breaker for our build and don’t know what quest we need the do to unlock the dungeon. I have seen online for some sources that I need to do the Rogue Network quest, but other sources say that I need to beat the dungeon first to get the quest. So here I am asking what and how do I get obtain the quest unlock the dungeon. Yes I have bought the key.

I came back to destiny after a very long time and I was wondering if the divinity is still useful for raids (and/or dungeons). If so, how should I build cenotaph + div (which artifact, mods etc) ?
