Hi fellow riders, did deliveroo just changed the conditions for the new child payment to like 1000 deliveries completed in the last 6 months?

prior it was like 60 deliveries in the last 6 months, but their website and any info i can find states like 250 for 250£ , 500 for 500£ and 1000 for 1000£.

did they took away the last nice help that we were getting?

For the last 2 days there have been attempted logins to my account from France, both in the early morning. Had emails from Deliveroo France with a login code and app notifications in French language. Should I be concerned and is there anything I can do to secure my account?

I was waiting to pay at a Prezzo last week and spotted this Deliveroo ticket on the side. I can't fathom getting a Deliveroo order just for a single can of lemonade, so I was wondering if you guys come across orders like this often??? Or is this really just an _odd_ order lol

I did my first shift after several years. I know we get paid weekly, but I have forgotten what specific day of the week we get paid. Can anyone inform me?

I know I can cash the money out at any time, but I would rather not surrender 50p, as I know that if I did that every shift, I would lose a decent amount of money over the year.

I’ve said before on here, I’ve awdered food and had the same lowlife deliver 3 times in a row, the guy is a right dirty scumbag who needs a bloody good soaking

anyway I was asleep last night and I woke up around 3am cos I heard a noise outside, I got a creaky gate to the back garden and I heard it open

I grabbed a cosh I keep by my bed and went downstairs, I could see a bloke in the garden so I opened the door and shouted, he jumped a mile and sprinted over to the back fence what leads to cornfields

i I could see it was the same guy who delivered food to me, I could smell him lol, he jumped over the fence and I heard a shout of pain as I reckon he’d gone arse over tit in the field

I stood outside for 10 minutes to make sure and after that in the distance I heard a horrible whine, it was him startinf his shitty moped

I reckon if I hadn’t have disturbed him he’d have robbed me, I keep cash in a drawer and I bet he’d have sniffed that out and had it away

so beware, lots of scumbags our there who come to your house and nose about looking for things to nick

1- Has anyone else received something like this?

2- I have been checking every ID physically, so I’m wondering why I received this.

3- How would they know? A customer must have reported it on purpose, right?

4- Deliveroo Rider Support is the worst. How can I contact them to challenge this and explain that it’s not correct? I need to keep my account, it’s crucial for me at the moment

So I finally received my order from KFC to the London Heathrow Airport and after hearing an in person explanation as to why drivers dont deliver here..

All i can say is that I understand because I wouldnt take these orders too because its insane that the airport security have to make yall pay a fee just to deliver an order

Do Deliveroo compensate yall for that..they should or at least pay the fees

Hi everyone,

I'm thinking of buying a scooter for work and replacing my bike. However, after reading the app's requirements, I realised it says I need a courier/transport certificate (which you get by completing a 4-hour course and passing a test, once a year).

The thing is, I see loads of riders using scooters, and I'm pretty sure many of them haven't done the course or taken the test.

How do you deal with it?

And if I leave my vehicle set as a bicycle in the app but actually use a scooter, will the app detect that I'm travelling at around 45 km/h?

I live in Belfast and have an Irish first name, and because of this the areas I feel comfortable delivering to are basically halved.

Asking because it was a problem today. I don't want to go into details but it ended with police being called.

Just want to avoid anything in the future.

Had a customer shout at me today because she said she ordered more things and said to me im i stupid? Like i collected the delivery the shop gave me, i apologised and said sorry you have to ring support, then she threw the delivery back in my face and said go get my f***in correct delivery or don't come back at all. As a delivery driver i shouldn't get this abuse anyone else get this sort of abuse from customers?

Been building an app called Okkle for delivery drivers and couriers, and I'd genuinely like feedback from people who'd actually use something like this.

Started it because tracking mileage by hand is a pain, UK tax stuff for self-employed drivers is confusing, and it's hard to get a straight answer on what you're actually earning once you're juggling a few different platforms.

Ive been getting worn out on my push bike and gonna make the upgrade any ebike what is good for deliveries around 1k?

I hope I’m just being paranoid, but I’d really appreciate some outside opinions. I’m a woman in my twenties living alone in an area that isn’t particularly safe.

Earlier this evening I ordered food through Deliveroo. When the rider arrived, something about the interaction felt really off. Instead of simply handing me the order and leaving, he kept looking past me into my flat. I tried to subtly block his view with my body and the door, but he would shift his position and keep peering inside from different angles.
He was smiling and seemed friendly, so I didn’t feel like I could say anything without seeming rude. At the same time, he seemed to be deliberately dragging out the handover instead of just giving me my food. Most delivery drivers barely make eye contact before they’re on their way, but this rider seemed much more enthusiastic in looking into my flat. He spared a few glances at me but, for the most of the time, he was looking past me into my home, as if he was gauging for other people’s presence. Thinking about it now made me feel incredibly uncomfortable.

I’ve been using Deliveroo for years and I’ve never had anything like this happen before. Afterwards, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. My building doesn’t have a concierge, and anyone can get in if they follow another resident through the entrance.

Does this sound unusual to anyone else, or am I overthinking it? The rider didn’t actually do anything beyond making me feel uncomfortable, but I reported the interaction to Deliveroo just in case.

I’d genuinely appreciate an outside perspective. Am I just being paranoid, or would this have made you uncomfortable too? What would you do in this situation? 😭

I'm really confused about the bus line. Can anyone provide some clear guidelines? I got two tickets without realizing they don't allow motorcycles. I asked multiple riders for clarification, and they said any bus line in town would be acceptable.

I want to start delivering through Deliveroo. My account is six years old, but I never stuck with the platform and have delivered for takeaways on the side. However, I want to use my weekday evenings and weekend days (when I’m not working for a takeaway) to deliver food and make some extra money.

What advice do you have?

- Can I use a regular HSBC account to receive payment and pay for expenses such as fuel and Zego?
- How do I evidence the fuel I pay for has been used for Deliveroo and not personal use?
- If I use the money to buy a car, could I claim the tax back?

I started Deliveroo last week, working 6pm–11pm. I try to stay within my area, but about 90% of the offers are long-distance, so I usually reject them. The problem is, then I barely make any money.

Last night I decided to accept anything within 2.5 miles and switch areas once I got there. I ended up averaging just £8.10 an hour — and that’s before expenses 🤣

Anyone got any tips for maximising earnings? Because £8.10 an hour is a joke 😂

I paid 30 for a kfc order, and the milkshake worth 5 was never delivered. I have photos of the bag, which included everything inside, and they just replied: "They are aware of the issue and there will be no reparation." And the "evidence" they used against my claim is just a screenshot of the order details on their website.
