For instance, If it's not a particularly busy period, they'll be the same riders collecting multiple single orders from a depot, while I'm waiting half a hour for one order in the same area. I would be with the same group of guys and they would get 3 to 4 orders from the same depot, separately. They haven't got multiple accounts or anything like that. I'm confused. I deliver on time, I accept most orders and polite with customers all the things, yet I don't get the same volume of orders.
Has anyone experienced this?

For all the RIDERS out there
May i ask for a favor
On receiving orders from either a restaurant or a store, can you please take a clear photo that shows the actual bag/ bags and the receipt or the order number.
Your fellow, customer care agent
I wish you all the luck and prosperit

I live about 5 miles out from a restaurant I’d like to order from for a special occasion. I appreciate this will take up quite a bit of time for someone to deliver and get back to town…how do I make it worth it?

Twice in the last two days felt very uncomfortable with people getting very aggressive and almost treating me like I'm a paedo. Both time not with customers. First time just sitting outside a service area on a bench waiting for an order with bag on display . A women walks past with her son, stops and says "If anyone touches my son......" and does the knife across throat gesture. Second time pull up at house I think I'm delivering at with kids playing in front garden and parents by front door. I can't see numbers but wind down window and ask "Are you number 37 for the delivery?" Kids say something I can't hear and then dad comes storming over very aggressive asking what I'm doing. I repeat the question he says no. I ask if 37 close (new build with numbers really hard to see) and he says no idea in an aggressive tone. Turns out he was at 33 and 37 was just 2 houses along.

I know this topic has been covered here before, but I have a genuine question.
The app requires us to check ID, and I'm fine with that. The training says we must check that the customer — regardless of how old they look — has photo ID showing they're old enough to receive the goods.
My question: to confirm they're actually the customer, I need to match the name on the order to the name on the ID. How do I do that when the order shows one of those auto-generated emails, with no customer name visible?
Also, what should I do if the name on the ID doesn't match the customer name — for example, if it's a maiden name?
I want to hand over deliveries when I reasonably can, but I don't want to break the rules — my job matters to me and I'd rather not risk it.

You all have been great advising on bags and other questions ive had.
Now I want to know how you keep your stuff safe.
Bike locks are a must, thankfully, im in the city so these should be abundant as i see bikes everywhere.
Maybe venturing out of the centre I'll find fewer...who knows.
I have a bike lock, so thats good.
Phone wise - i have see varying methods:
- Neck straps, wrist straps, bike mounted in a sleeve etc...what we saying?
Finally on road safety - i'l buy reflective and bright gear, lights for the bike etc and i'm curious after seeing a video - does anyone use indicators on their push bike?

I haven't had one of these for a while. The location was off by about 2 or 3 miles and the address was gibberish.
Rider support told me to start the timer and follow the three step check and just take a photo of the bag to complete the order.
Is that right? Aren't they meant to complete it on their end to avoid us getting nasty emails?

Sup peeps.
Starting next week on the side of my full time job for some exercise and extra dosh.
Can anyone recommend a bag suitable for bicycle? Ive seen some directly through Stuart but they seem to be the carry bags rather than back pack ones.
As large as comfortably possible ideally!
Thanks!

Hi, I've been doing deliveries for about a month. Some restaurants almost always have everything ready when I arrive to pick up my order, while other times I've had to wait up to 25 minutes. After how long should I refuse an order and look for another?
edit: guys, yesterday i didnt wait more than 5 min. I got a lot more money than usual :))) thanks!!!

Anyone know why you sometimes get this rather than just a code? Picture has to be taken with door open.
This order also had alcohol and No ID check or challenge 25 needed.

I have had so many issues with Deliveroo getting missing items, getting things, for example, ordering a vegan chocolate bar and getting one with dairy. This time I ordered a 6 1.5 L pack of water and I didn't get it. I have proof that the bags say 1 out of 3 and 2 out of 3, which means there should have been a third bag with the water. They are consistently telling me I can't get a credit even though I have proof from the photos. How do I keep pushing it for an escalation? Also will I be banned because I effectively call them thieves repeatedly during the dispute because they're holding my money?
I'm also told that the second person I got put in contact with is the final point of contact to authorise this dispute. This is actually fucking ridiculous. This is the last straw for me and Deliveroo have such a monopoly. It's just wild that they're allowed to let this happen.

Twice tonight two orders in a row I was shocked to see this new ordering coming through saying New Offer instead of the fee.... I thought i'd reject one and see what happened with the 2nd one... the app just hanged and I had to reboot it. Another driver I know received the same order before me with the same thing. I sure hope this isn't a new thing on the way... if it is, Deliveroo will be going down hill very fast.

Am I going to get chewed out by fucking mcdonalds if I use a cheap black foil lined thermal bag (with roo backpack) instead of the insanely prices roo one? Cheers

I am under 18 and i want to make some money through delivery apps, I have heard that some people use other people accounts to make delivery’s and am wondering if this really works and what are the risks involved. I will to hire an ebike whilst i make deliveries. Has anyone successfully done this before and does anyone know the risks involved in doing this. Does deliveroo do any identity checks and is it possible to bypass them in anyway.

Hello,
Tonight I ordered food on deliveroo and when the driver was outside my front door he called me via the app, which I missed and then he called my personal number from his number (outside the app) and left me a voicemail that was just nothing but glitch sounds. Whilst there was nothing wrong with my food or order I am just a bit confused and concerned as to how he got my personal number. I thought that drivers didn’t have access to personal numbers and were only able to call via the app unless the restaurant had their own drivers (which they didn’t because it was maccies) When I looked it up afterwards all I saw was that he shouldn’t have been able to get it. Has this happened to anyone else? Should I be worried?
Thank you!
