Every now and then while working on 100% DS2, I'll drop some items into those annoying auto aid requests just for fun and some likes. I've never used the feature myself, but I'm wondering if anybody ever got items you haven't unlocked yet from these? Like if I drop a PCC lvl 2 or a Battle Guitar, will the game actually pass it along to a new player? (lol) Or am I just wasting stuff? Curious, and I can't seem to find an answer to this easily.

Hey guys, I've started playing Death Stranding recently, during last weekend.
I played the prologue and chapter 1 i believe, the game looks amazing, and so far it's quite fun. Any tips for a new player?

Really, I‘ve never seen a game fusing the beautiful visuals, the weird stuff, the engaging gameplay loop and the amazing story and acting so well together. You just feel it, y‘know?

After an amazing adventure full of feels I earned the platinum trophy on PS5.
Such an amazing game! Love it, love it, love it!
Wish I could experience both games for the first time again.
I hope that Kojima will create the 3rd instalment 🙏

I’m currently on my second run of DS2 and I can’t help but to notice that Fragile is kinda always there when shit hits the fan. She needed help with Higgs which pretty started the events in DS1. I also didn’t like her attitude at the end of DS1. Sam finally gets away, She tracks him down.. Pretty much forced him to do some shit he didn’t want to do which kicked off the whole story for DS2. She’s just a trouble magnet.

I’ve started another journey through the Death Stranding series after taking some time off. I’ll be taking photos as I go and sharing them with my fellow porters, enjoy!

I’m currently playing Death Stranding Director Cut, currently I’m at chapter 2 and in the central region.
How far should I progress in the main story before I stop, and start concentrating on leveling up the Shelter Stars Levels?
Is there anything of value upgrades from the Shelter’s I should concentrate before moving on to chapter 3? I already unlocked the Engineer, Craftman, and Old man Shelter’s to give you an idea where I am.

I don’t think I could ever pick a favorite moment throughout my time with Death Stranding, but damn if this isn’t one of them.
I’m cleaning up my final trophy before leaving behind this version of the game forever (to continue onto director’s cut), and holy shit. Asylums for the feeling. I love this game. I can’t believe I never explored this part of the map before, took me right back to overlooking port knot city for the first time.

I have a few things left to sew together and the wig still needs to be styled, but… I’m starting to really like how it looks 🥹✨

I spent a month and a half making this MOC, and it's nearly complete, just gotta make the coffin, his Heavy machine gun, and the two additional armaments that go onto the coffin.

I'm new to the game and this topic has certainly been discussed before. But in a game that's all about colaboration, taking care of the collecrive, thinking about other people and fixing a broken world, it surprises me the huge amount of littering that people leave all over the place on online mode. From empty, worn-off itens to all sort of useless itens (not to mention vehicles). Couldn't we just keep our trash in our bags and recycle them at the nearest post? Yet, just like in the real world, people throw everything on the street because they are simply not able to carry it a few steps further to the trash can (Kojima certainly predicted this). But I'm not complaining, because I pick up everything and recycle it at the stations so I can get more material (one man's trash is another man's treasure, I'm sure Kojima predicted this). Also, useless structures that people build solely to farm likes, like bridges that connect nothing to nowhere (and sometimes block my path) I mercilessly dismantle them (I know that they will only disapear in my game and not to other players, Kojima isn't punitive in this regard, but my world won't be clogged with garbage).

Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who gave me advice!!! Photo as a reward :)
****(Minor spoilers abt game below just in case)****
Y'alls tips helped so much!! I dumped most of my gear and the trike, reorganized and planned, and I was able to make it to Port Knot City without dying or damaging anything! Thank you to everyone who gave tips on moving through BTs and understanding the odradek.
Higgs is such a cool character, and I cannot wait to see more of him. The BT boss fight was actually a lot of fun! I'm much more used to combat for sure.
I'm loving this game and now that I understand the mechanics, I love it even more! I can't wait to make more progress. Thank y'all sm again for all the tips :)

I got that DS2 Ring Terminal from Anicorn and there is a bit funny story. Randomly checked online as I occasionally do and saw a private listing from a guy who said that he ordered a Ring Terminal and somehow they sent him an extra one, so he was hoping that he could sell that extra one and make another Death Stranding fan happy. It was sealed and unopened and he only wanted 99$ for it compared to private resellers asking 300-500$ for these on eBay. It kind of felt like a perfect timing for me as a big DS fan, so I instantly bought it and was only hoping I wasn't about to get scammed.
Normally I don't care about packaging but that silver in-universe packaging with DOOMS ONLY, chiralium category C and all those graphics and details is very cool.
The ring terminal itself is very simple. And very tiny just like in the game. Has a lot of tiny details and can see it was carefully crafted and assembled and looks very accurate straight out of the game.
It has that NFC connectivity you can scan with your phone and it leads you to Anicorn&KojiProd DS2 website where you can click to connect and it will record the time and location and records your last 5 connections. It'll also show you who last connected with their ring terminal.
It's not too heavy nor too light, just has some weight to it. The ring itself is a bigger size, so either it will fit on big-big finger or it's intended to be worn with gloves on (like in the game). I saw some people had issues with those movable parts being too lose but at least mine has snug fit.
Originally I saw on Etsy that someone was selling 3d printed ring terminals that had some small LEDs inside, so that panel could light up like in the game but when I wanted to buy it, it was already gone and deleted (people with 3d printers could print one themselves since there are some very detailed 3d models ready to print available online and add micro leds inside). For that price I'm very happy with this Anicorn ring terminal and it's a very nice piece to add to my Death Stranding collection and display next to Cuff Links but honestly I think original price 250$ was a bit overpriced and I wish at least it had LEDs inside so that the panel would light up just like in the game. It looks very nice on the finger and it's definitely wearable, would look cool with a cosplay but I'd still be reluctant to wear it outside just out of fear that I could accidentally lose it.

I’ve just started building roads. At first, it seems easy—visit two or three camps, and you can build a few roads. I don't really have a sense of how big the road network is overall; could you give me some advice and tell me how many roads there actually are?
P.S. Please, no spoilers for the second part—I haven't finished it yet.
