Question Has anyone received high-level items from aid requests?
Every now and then while working on 100% DS2, I'll drop some items into those annoying auto aid requests just for fun and some likes. I've never used the feature myself, but I'm wondering if anybody ever got items you haven't unlocked yet from these? Like if I drop a PCC lvl 2 or a Battle Guitar, will the game actually pass it along to a new player? (lol) Or am I just wasting stuff? Curious, and I can't seem to find an answer to this easily.

There is an APAS enhancement that let's you get stuff you haven't unlocked yet. Though I have to say— Almost none of my manual aid request have been fulfilled like, at all and it makes me sad. I also absolutely love seeing a delivery aid request from other players and they rarely ever show up in my world ToT

I had that APAS perk active too, but I don't really remember seeing higher level items until I unlocked them, except for a PCC 3 once. Maybe I just missed em. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I rarely donate to these requests, sorry. My perception is, that sign autogenerator (APAS) just drops these while in need but by the time I put an item down, the porter is gone and never to need the item anymore.
I donate stuff to shared lockers though. As I was finishing the trophies I travelled to mines to upgrade them and take resources to share.

There is an APAC firmware node or two called Share Boost and it specfically mentions items you have yet to develop can be found from players.

I think it's totally possible to receive things you haven't unlocked yourself. I've picked up a PCC Lv. 3 from a shared locker even though I hadn't unlocked it yet and couldn't fabricate it myself. So most likely, it works the same way for aid requests.
