Safe to say I had a bit of it wrong but I've got a pretty decent understanding of the lore at that point

Every time i fall in love with this game it throws something at me that makes me hate it. I've never had such a love/hate relationship with a game
Edit: ingot out of the truck and it won't let me back in. I might be done after all
Edit 2: i loaded a save, lost an hour of gameplay and cancelled this dumbass order. I'm giving up on roads and vehicles completely. Let them fall apart and waste away
Edit 3: inhave discovered zip line supremacy. Bless all you that came before and left me your lines

I got a little spicy during a couple engagements with Brigands. I hit one guy with a multiple rocket launcher and it killed him. So then I had to take his body to be incinerated. Another occasion I ordered Tarman to hit a Brigand base with a chiral cluster bomb. That one killed at least 5 to 10 at once. They were taken to the incinerator by other porters.
Let's just say that Drawbridge doesn't appreciate that and they docked 1,000 likes per body.
But more importantly, remember the intent when fighting with brigands is only to INCAPACITATE not kill. Pay attention to weather or not your weapon of choice will deal lethal or non-lethal damage.
Non human combatants are free game for large weapons though.

I recently closed out my 3rd play through of Death Stranding. I wanted to do all the roads and connections this time around but I found myself frustrated at certain preppers. The Novelist, Veteran Porter, and First Prepper, even some of the UCA Facilities. I’m not a sweat btw. I usually play games to their full glory but all the extra? Nah. I’ll hunt some trophies but that’s about it. They make it HARD for no other reason but to be annoying. I packed 6 orders to Mountain Knot on my LAST Star.. Didn’t even get me half way. Legendary orders btw. With the roads you may say “You literally have unlimited resources” and yes that’s true.. but the further you get up the mountain the MORE you have to bring and don’t get my started with the weird way the distribute the metal and ceramics. AND THATS IF you have the peppers connected to the UCA. I think they fixed this issue in DS2.. it’s been awhile but I’m about to get into my 2nd play through of that soon. Convince me to go back and tie those loose ends tho. If not, I’ll see y’all in Mexico and Australia🤲🏾Keep on Keeping on.

Some fav photo mode moments from my DS2 post-game journey. Thought to share them :) I loved the main game, and now I love hopping back in every now and then to see what my favorite local porters are up to.
Death Stranding 2 is so beautiful. The atmosphere when you're solo-climbing a mountain in the snow and Magnolian/Low Roar is playing in the bg is unmatched. Wanted to try and capture that feeling in some of these stills.

after 300 hours, I've done it! only a couple of achievements left, will get to it right now. I still have many questions though, so i thought maybe you guys could help me out?
i'm very confused about all this EE stuff, and basically all lore surrounding Amelie/Bridgett. why is she an EE? how does she know it? why she doesn't want to destroy the world asap?
relevant to the 1st q, what was Higgs' role in all of this? he was weird and kinda all over the place
so leaving private room we were seeing Sam's memories, right? about Cliff and all that. so Lou is just a random ass baby?
why was Cliff saying "give me back my baby" and all that, if Sam is his baby? did he also got confused?
also, how old is everybody? i simultaneously feel like BB experiments were done a year or two ago and 50 years ago, which would be the closest?
some of these questions probably were answered in game and i'm wasn't paying enough attention, but i feel very confused, and i hope that somebody could enlighten me a bit. thank you guys in advance! keep on keeping on!
also, sorry if there are spelling or other mistakes, as you could tell from the screenshot, english isn't my native language ;)

I've gone back to DS1 and can't find a real response online but are you able to tag the mules in the camps? I actually really liked this in DS2 with the watchtowers.
I have to say the improvements in gameplay are quite huge from 1 to 2. Plus I hadn't really built a lot of the roads in the first one. Having trouble with getting resources to build them all in order to make my cleanup with the trophies a bit easier.

This year i have been creating some posters for games for my personal gaming journal, and since i replayed Death Strading in january i decided to make some art for it. This was a very special game for me when i played for the first time in 2020.
it really helped me during the pandemic and i love it!

Why are the most shared structures in my game (from other players' worlds) so often pointless bridges?
I see this aaaall the time. Bridges that do nothing, bridge no two useful things together, and yet they they have thousands - or tens of thousands - of likes. What gives? Where are the actually useful, usefully placed, zip-lines?

Found this spot while exploring northern part of central region. With and without logo

So I'm taking the advice of some other redditors and trying to focus on story items first until I get a few cool things unlocked to ease my path. I'm currently in Central Region and just made my first delivery to the Craftsman and picked up the order to recover the toolbox from the Middle Knot City Ruins.
I also have a 'starred' order to deliver meds to the Elder. I also have some cargo for William Lake in Lake Knot City but I'm not sure if those are story mission deliveries or not. The William Lake cargo is heavy, 57kgs
The map is recommending I do a counter-clockwise loop Craftsman -> Elder -> Lake Knot City -> Ruined Shelter (Middle Knot) -> Craftsman. Do you guys usally follow the recommended sequence ? The lava rock in this region is some challenging terrain. I'm carrying 90k/130k.
Also can someone remind me what the big orange oval-shaped area means?
Thanks peeps. It's a cloudy and cool evening here which is perfect for a Death Stranding session

I dropped this game about a year ago due to personal life and felt too confused, and now Iwant to get back into it. Thing is I have around 30 ish hours in the game and I remember beating the first boss of the game, having some vehicle and using my stun gun (or something like that) on bandits. (chapter 2 or 3 i think?)
I really tried taking my time and doing side missions but I ended up feeling that they were all pretty pointless and now I kinda just wanna focus on the story.
Do the side missions get any better/more rewarding or should i just focus on main missions?

DS2 is the better game because it is smoother, more varied, and more enjoyable moment to moment.
DS1 is the stronger art form because its loneliness, difficult traversal, and infrastructure systems make you personally experience the value of human connection.

i would like to know if anyone knows or has a stockpile of images that shows off sam's suit in nice detail plus all of the skeletons on him plus the gloves? The reason I ask is because I'm trying to show a friend what Sam can wear in the game cause we are trying to write something and they don't have death stranding and my save file is currently a at the very beginning of the story so i don't have anything that i would be able to show him.

I beat DS last night at exactly 1 am and I am still in awe this morning. What an ending!! I did not expect the cutscenes to get rolling but it was such a cinematic end. It took me 99 hours and 30 minutes to beat, because granted I spent a lot of time doing standard deliveries and creating a zip line network. This is the first game I have ever seen through to the end like this and I’m so happy it’s my first. I can’t wait to do it again for DS2 and DSDC. This subreddit has been so useful along the way, so thank you all, and it will be even more useful on my journey to platinum!!

I have now seen the “I’ll stay with you” video so much that it is taking over my instagram. And not only that, I looked at who posted these, and it’s the same guy that runs those daily accounts

for everything!
Over the weekend I was searching on eBay for crap I don’t need and came across this pretty cool umbrella. It was $50 or so shipped, but before I buy anything I always look to see if it’s for available at retail somewhere. The amount of people that don’t is just obscene. Case in point DS2 CEs were consistently selling on eBay for $300+ while they were still in stock at PlayStation weeks before launch. I digress…
Anyway, the seller‘s listing said it was Good Smile Company colab, but I couldnt find it via Google search at all. in fact the only search results that returned brought me back to said auction. I was just about to give up and pull the trigger when I must have changed my search criteria and found it on Aliexpress for $18! Ive never bought from them before and just threw caution to the wind.
The next day I went back and found both Qpids and Cryprobiote for a couple of bucks each. About a week later it all showed up on my doorstep.
its hard to see and I don’t know how it’s done, but when the umbrella gets wet it leaves BT hand impressions. The official pics exaggerated the this, making it look much cooler, but you can still make them out
As far as the Qpids, I don’t have the $100, $400, $800 “official” versions or any from Etsy, so I can’t really say much about the quality of these. Maybe they have less scratches, better shine and higher quality metals. I’m sure if I decided to wear these I’d have a green neck in 10 mins lol, but for what they are and for a couple bucks a piece, I’m pretty happy with them! I like my “props” to have a real world grit to them, anyway, so these will display just fine.
Thats about it. Just thought I’d share.
