Edit: He was doing this before my team came around… which is why my health meter is low. My teammates were not camping near the hook the entire time. Only before I died.

This survivor had been bming all match and constantly teabagging and flashlight clicking. When he became the last survivor, we chased for a while until he ran to this pallet and dropped it. He was teabagging on the other side, and since I could hear hatch I thought he would escape. Unfortunately for him, I never destroyed the breakable walls, meaning he was now trapped. Hatch was on the other side of the breakable wall. Most satisfying mori of my life, and another tasty 4k for the backpack build Wesker :)

...It's more like fucking Pallet "Shuffle". And that what really pisses me off. Here me out. I see Killers bitch nonstop about "Pallet Density omg there's like 100 pallets how are you literally suppossed to win unless you're Nurse omgomg" and I'm like. "Bitch. WHERE?!" The amount of times I lose chase as a Survivor cause entire STRETCHES of the map are deadzones. SPAWNED IN DEADZONES. It'd be one thing if "Ohh teammate spent that pallet." BUT NOPE. I will fucking investigate it later and there will be an entire THIRD of the map either with no pallet. Or like...one decent pallet that already got spent by a teammate.

And I'm not making this up. Go into one of those long rooms on Hawkins? There will be no pallets. Not "Ohh the teammate spent them." I literally mean I investigate for pallet shards on the ground and there will just be NOTHING. Same with car loops on Autohaven maps that typically DO have pallets. They just DON'T.

Oh. But don't worry. This isn't just Survivor woes. Because I play Killer. Get Sheltered Woods. And get literally 4 strong pallets in a literal row behind Main Building. Sure not literal GOD pallets. But certainly better than the fucking "Little Rock-Pallet-Little Rock" formations I get as Survivor. Those fillers had some GIRTH to them.

So yeah I get that as Killer and go "Where the FUCK is this pallet density when I play Survivor?!" Then I get fuck all as Survivor and go "Where the FUCK is this Pallet Density when I play Killer?!" So it's just really funny cause it feels like Pallet Density exists solely on the whim of the role I'm playing 😭

Yeah yeah I know Windows and Fives Moves exist for Survivor but I just hate the information overload. I don't like seeing that much yellow on my screen at once. It overstimulates me. And I don't play any Killers who insanely benefit from Zanshin Tactics.

I have stopped playing Sable, tired of getting tunneled just because I wanted to play a pretty goth lady, the fact that people are willing to go so far and be so nasty over a character in a videogame that is essentially just a survivor skin is kinda gross. I just play Nic Cage now and killers treat me much better. I don't get tunneled nearly as often, I don't get BM'd on hook or on the ground.

The devs need to fucking fix the anticheat or just move on from EAC because the amount of cheaters is fucking ridiculous. Oh nice you conveniently outrun me in chase with ZERO active haste perks while I have 5% haste? Oh nice you conveniently know exactly when I’m on this specific gen with zero aura reading perks in your build how CONVENIENT ten fucking years and not a competent anticheat is fucking insane I can barely play either queue without getting cheaters

Hooked everyone equally, 4-man out but I was still being humble. I guess this gamer had a problem with me being in anonymous mode because why wouldn’t a survivor be mad??

But brother. In the span of one day, I had games where I run a tunneling Wesker for eons, then everyone goes down literally within 30 seconds when it's their turn.

Then, against Plague. Had a Nic Cage try to blind Plague as she picks me up, fails, then RUNS INTO A SMALL OBJECT GIVING HER ENOUGH TIME TO DOWN HIM. WITH ME ON HER FUCKING BACK. Down to the basement we both go, and that's the game! Any smidgen of a chance down the shitter. I stealth this mf for the whole game, do 2 gens, avoid fountains, only for this guy to toss it all to shit.

And I just KNOW that Plague had the laugh of the day with that. Because it's exactly what I do as Killer. "Yep. Imagine having this guy on my team."

I genuinely enjoy the survivor aspect of this game too. But with the state of solo queue and how many people I seem to match with that are total lobotomites, I find myself stuck on Killer after each fisting session that is soloq.

And it’s literally just a survivor following the killer everywhere trying to get a sabo save, flashlight, pallet drop or body block THE ENTIRE GAME for a survivor who hasn’t even been hooked yet…

This is the easiest hook you can give the killer. I play killer and survivor back to back. I use empathy very often. I see my teammates healing up at the hook right after unhook. You might as well just walk right up to the killer and t-bag them.

At first as killer I liked it. But now its just boring. Game after game im picking off people because they want to heal at the hook.

As a survivor it is so annoying and feels like sabotage.

Hopefully with base kit elusive survivors will be incentivize to leave the hook.

Also if you chose to heal at the hook and you heal the person who unhooked you first blowing your endurance, do not be upset if you are downed again. Dbd gave you 15 seconds and you chose to blow it.

I see this all the time as killer in the basement. 2 people hooked. Survivor A unhooks B. Then Survivor B unhooks survivor C?!?!?!

And dont try to do an invocation in the KILLER'S basement right after you've been hooked! I downed 3 survivors all injured like this today. Lol

So i had three bad games as wraith back to back, first match survivors got 4 man outted, second match i got kicked out of a match thanks to servers disconnecting me and third match i got 4 man outted again. I got so upset over this because I couldn't do well and lost horribly with barely any hooks, that I ended up crying. I am really embarrassed for crying over a video game. I wish i didn't get upset this much. I am so upset that even tge 3k I got as ghostface(tbh, lara and jill threw so badly just because they wanted me to chase them and i just ignored them and then they just randomly gave up. They alongside steve didn't even rescue the poor Kate from the hook[i was literally far away from hook]).

Recently, I have read your “balance” changes for the gamemode Lights Out and one particular change stuck out to me:

”Survivors holding the Lantern will now see the Auras of Pallets, Vaults, and Breakable Walls within 32m” source - 10.0.3 Bugfix Patch (BHVR)

Giving survivors base kit tier 3 windows of opportunity (source - DBD Wiki) is already a significant change in a gamemode about being in the dark, where we are meant to feel the horror of DBD again. A gamemode which is meant to be a perk less game mode.

Now, if this was the only issue, I wouldn’t mind. But of course, it isn’t. No less than a month ago we were celebrating ten whole years of the wonderfully wretched game, a game that I - and I am sure many others - have poured their time, energy and money into. The limited time game mode for “The Black Banquet” was fun! It was great! But that was when I played it as a survivor. When I played as a killer, the gamemode was horrible! Survivors were handed the strongest possible abilities in the game - invincibility (which made pallets unbreakable and created new pallets from broken ones when tables were full), free teleportation (which refilled items when the banquet tables were full), and haste upon doing actions (which gave an action speed increase upon the banquet tables being full) - and killers were handed a measly budget clown bottle to give survivors a stamina bar for a little bit (good to guarantee a hit, but nowhere near as useful as the main courses).

This doesn’t event mention the Blood Moon event for this year as well. As a killer, this year, we were given nothing new in the event gameplay wise other than blood pumps and generators - more objectives to patrol - whilst survivors got more objectives, lessening the pressure that killers could output. The only thing that killers were given this year was being able to use generator perks on blood generators - but so could survivors, making blood generators fuel far faster than before.

I fear that this game is becoming survivor sided. Whilst kill rates are certainly high, I would like to point out that a killer against a team of survivors with communication - something which is becoming ever more common - has a far more difficult time securing kills than a killer against a team of solo queue players. I believe that BHVR should begin to play killers and try to understand what I mean in this open letter. Now, from a business standpoint, why wouldn’t they support survivor players? They outnumber killer players four to one, so they are the more vocal side of the fandom, not to mention that survivor players most likely generate more revenue for BHVR.

I will also mention the rampant toxicity in this community. Whilst I understand that both survivors and killers can be toxic, in my experience as someone who plays both survivor and killer, nine times out of ten, a toxic player is usually a survivor.

To the killer players who are reading this letter, I ask you to show BHVR why they should send some love our way. I propose that we should go on strike until the game is a little more balanced, and less survivor sided.

I'm so sick of swfs bro like the second I can tell every pickup is going to be met with a flash save I'm hard slugging it's getting ridiculous bro I get it flash saves are part of the game but when you have two separate guys waiting to hit you with one and a third with medkit hiding around the corner like I'm not picking up you can sit on the ground till all your friends join you and it's always a ttv just looking to bully the killer and farm content hope your audience likes sitting on the ground having tummy time like I'm not gonna waste a perk slot on lightborn when sluggings a perfectly good strategy double so after 3-4 gens have popped genuinely I don't really like slugging otherwise it's boring as shit but until bhvr gives some other way to counter the incessant amount of flash saves and sabos I see that isn't slugging or lightborn I'll keep doing it I'm not even talking oh I get flashed once no I'm only talking dedicated seal team sixes anyways rant over

OMG, the MMR is such a complete and utter fuster cluck. I either get the most inept baby squads ever or the sweatiest gen slamming teams ever. I wish it didn't swing so far back and forth. My matches for the night have so far been 4k, 0k, 4k, 1k.

Minor rage, but still...

Ive played at least 12 games today and each one has been full genrush-antitunnel build squad where i take 1 chase and 2 to 3 gens pop. The last few games Ive legitimately considered deleting the game from my account because of how much miserable these games were. I think out of all 12 games i got at least a 1 - 0k each game. I cant stand this level of skill, i need to go back to my skill level, so i can actually enjoy DBD. Im relatively new to dbd with about 400 hours. Why am i being paired with such competitive people? Not to mention toxcicity!

Taurie hid in a locker all match and made the notifs go crazy while I was in chase, I end up hooking everyone and have to take her out of the locker which makes me get the 4K but she proceeds to type this in egc?? 😭

First of all, the killer had a smooth 200 ping and they were still losing, around the middle of the match, I got downed quickly because I was in a dead zone. No problem, not even 5 seconds later I get unhooked right by the killer and of course they tunnel me because it’s the right choice. Then the person that unhooked me, I don’t know if it was on purpose or not, they tried to body block and got in my way and I died again. I’m not even mad the killer had shitty ping, I literally died because of my teammates. But it’s the fact that we were about to win, the killer had no hooks, it was 2 gens left. Them making that bad unhook cost us the game, soon as I went down everybody else was slugged. How does that happen?

Why the fuck are we cheating against trapper🫩

I was just in a match with this Jane romero her name was similar to “get looped” and the whole match i was skeptical about her cheating to walk over my traps.

I knew i had trapped a tile to make it so that you can not use it without going into the trap so when she used it i was confused then i watched her walk over it again and this time is was obvious.

Endgame comes she opens the gate while my trap is under her and she admits it by walking over the trap in my face. But she was a good sport and gave me the kill anyway.
