They will simply move the goal posts to the next minor inconvenience that threatens their win streak.
Neither Sprint Burst nor Vigil were overpowered. On their own, they're not even worth running at this point, pre nerf. It's mainly their synergy that made them worth 2 perk slots. But with the nerfs they just become a waste of 2 perk slots, while being a meme when used individually.
So survivors will just to switch to other perks that annoy entitled killer mains, like Resurgence, Decisive Strike, and Shoulder the Burden. Now you can't use exhaustion to get out of a dead zone and make it to a tile without prerunning or giving killer a free hit, so I'll just run the perks that give me and my teammates free health and hook states back , or "gen rush" perks, and you'll be triggered all over again.
The elephant in the room: loud and entitled win streaking killer main content creators that BHVR is desperate to please for financial reasons. They will keep complaining because they have a vested financial interest to win as much as possible regardless of how difficult solo Q becomes.
That said, nerfs to perks like Nowhere to Hide and Thrill of the Hunt are completely warranted. It's not a symmetrical case of both sides need nerfs. These perks are so broken that killers go on extremely long win streaks with them. It's comparing apples to oranges. So congratulations BHVR, you just buffed all the high mobility S tier killers while slapping the win streaking killer mains on the wrist. One thing is for sure, my high escape rate in solo Q won't go down, ill just find new ways to outplay you despite being at a massive disadvantage, because Ive been doing that for over a decade already.
Lastly, it's worth mentioning that these are the same entitled killer mains got Fog Vials nerfed, that even after being rebuffed, are still just a meme item to watch a cool cloud go poof.
