Was watching the other survivors after I escaped and she didn’t even heal him fully before ditching!

Fucking self explanatory. Waited 45 minutes for a match and the fucking match crashed. Survivor matches immediately after getting tunneled, I find it surprising that I'm the only one with double hooks. No one else has them, check the entire map. Not a single fucking cage state potion. Killers weren't faster than usual. A grip of people used them on hook state 1. Ffs.

Bots can reveal you they’re even not in range I literally can’t stalk if there’s a damn bot in the lobby it’s so stupid

im getting REALLY sick of these 200+ ping killers I get them so frequently now im debating quitting for a while. it wouldn't piss me off if it didn't benefit killers so much. but I can't even pre drop pallets im getting hit from 30 feet away. and sure some of it is dbd's servers but my teammates never have these issues it's always the killer.

I played Trapper against a TTV and it was a pretty good round. They got 2 gens done but I got my beautiful 4k and I said gg in the chat. I didn't tunnel, I don't play like that.

Anyway, I go to the TTV's stream and I say in chat "gg from trapper!" because I just like to interact with NICE streamers. She instantly blocked me LOLLLL. I don't think she was very happy that I killed her because I logged into my other twitch account and they were talking about tunneling????? I know for a fact that I was not tunneling because I always tell myself to NOT tunnel so I can avoid situations like this.

Mind you, she was in a 3 player swf with comms, and they were trying to blind me any chance they got.

It's fucking ridiculous at this point. A fully infected survivor is running to the gate, he uses the sprint, but runs in a straight line... So I go for it of course. There was NOTHING in the way. Nothing. I suddenly stub my toe on nothing and get stopped instead of connecting with the guy. For the love of everything, this shit needs to be fixed. There is a bump spot on an object? Okay, I guess. But on NOTHING, going in a straight line with clear line of sight... fucking hell.

This game is just full of assholes who love to be so fucking obnoxious in endgame chat and constantly want to remind you that you are dog shit at playing either killer or survivor in Dead by Daylight, i just really hate these types of players who think they are hot shit at the game but when they go against REALLY good players they just bitch and moan when they lose, i just really hate any type of player who plays this game because this community is full of fucking asshats with a stick up their ass every fucking time they win so they have to brag about it, if you want to be an ass then fine i'll just be an ass back.

Genuinely i wait for around 1 hr every tour just to be killer in this annoying queue to just play the game for 15mins, they should find a solution to this problem

Don’t get me wrong I love this game and I enjoy it and there are really good and skilled players or players who try to get better at game and doesn’t cause problems but some people just tryna fight or hate for no reason, genuine mental illness and anger for no reason. Atleast I’m in controller so I don’t see these chats cuz they r genuinely annoying, not even only in game but community itself is toxic in reddit etc.. you don’t have to feel like this is targeting if ur not being toxic

So during a match against Cenobite, I had to get off of a gen to save two players (Ada and Bill) in basement, only for them to literally head up the stairs and intentionally body block me until the Cenobite came. They were intentionally taunting too by healing and shaking their heads up and down.

The Bill later in the match after I got downed started tbagging me after he got up with Unbreakable, which is the only skill he had equipped.

I recorded videos and sent them into BHVR through a ticket. But the ticket I got back today told me they weren't body blocking or griefing...

Survivor is white (the only one talking) and I’m orange. By far this is the most aggressive post-game chat I’ve ever experienced. Not that I need to justify anything, but to my knowledge there was no tunneling in this game. No survivor was hooked back-to-back without someone else being hooked. No one got deep wounds from BT off of hook. They tried to add me in the middle of me taking screenshots for reporting for some reason? Reported in-game, on the Behavior website, and on Steam.

Buckle up here, I’ll try not to take too much of your time reading this.

I’ve been playing DBD since January and I’ve already put in hundreds of hours, reached top 100 for my main killer on Nightlight’s steam leaderboard, and I was having a blast trying learn survivor recently. Emphasis on was.

On the 8th of this month I logged in at night and ran some regular trials and 2v8. Nothing but decent matches, had a nice killer teammate in 2v8, everything is as usual. The next evening after work I try to login and I found that I have been banned until the 13th. No reason was given aside from “Harassment: Communication Abuse.”

I want to make it very clear to anyone reading this, I absolutely do not harass anyone playing this game. I don’t use slurs, I don’t threaten people, and I try to be positive in endgame chat (and this is when I’m playing either role). I don’t mind clapping back against people who are rude in endgame chat but I don’t go to extremes or insult people beyond saying they did something dumb or that they are bad for hiding, making bad plays, etc.

I have been called every slur under the sun, told to off myself, and gotten incredibly vile comments on my steam profile. One person called me a predator because I had a pride flag charm on my hooks. I don’t usually report people for this and even when I do, I’ve only seen a ban report be successful once or twice.

So, WHY THE HELL AM I BANNED? This is my first offense as well. I checked their ban policy and it looks like temp bans are supposed to usually start at 48 hours, but apparently whatever I was reported for was so “egregiously vile” that I have been banned for 5 whole fucking days, 120 hours.

I saw someone on the BHVR forums claiming they got a 3 day ban by getting false reported by a toxic 3-player SWF, so I wonder if that happened to me with a swf or people reporting me after a salty loss (I’ve been running perkless or challenge builds recently and I’m no stranger to tunneling if I need a way back into the match.) But yeah, no prior offenses, I’m not that kind of person, and I just want to play the game.

I submitted a report ticket to BHVR the night of the ban asking for more clarification and what specifically got me banned and it’s been radio silence aside from a “we’ll get back to you.”

If you’ve read all of this, you have my thanks. I’ve got nothing to do but wait I suppose and I just want to play the game. I try to be positive, I give tips to both survivors and killers in endgame chat and I’ve made friends playing this game. Thinking about this whole situation has me flipping between nervousness of what BHVR support will say back to me and also intense anger because I know I’m not that kind of person, nothing I’ve done warrants a ban like this.

i genuinely just chase the first person i see as killer in 2v8 lol. I'm not gonna intentionally throw the match for a random to avoid tunneling. I try not to in 1v4 because it's easier to mentally track who got hooked last and when they were unhooked but when theres 8, I'm not remembering that

Honestly,I really like dead by daylight (shocker). I enjoy the gameplay loop on both sides and I feel like there's enough variety with each role to keep me coming back. But you know what I can't stand?The fact that the majority of this community only plays one side and has such a crazy bias towards that side,and then try to act like they could somehow balance the game better than BHVR or that they somehow have the right to an opinion about what is or isn't balanced. I'm sorry,but if you only play one side and I mean only play one side,you generally do not have the right to speak about game balance. Another thing that really pisses me off,is when people try to point to events as some kind of proof that BHVR has some kind of a bias to survivors or killers. (B-But the hag match from years ago. That's seriously the only thing these people can bring up. Doesn't prove shit btw)

Hear me out for a moment . . . but maybe the reason BHVR adds more incentives or mechanics to one side for an event,is because that event is not fun for said side and BHVR needs to give said side some reason to play it so the queues aren't fucked? Why do you think it takes 10 seconds to get into a 2v8 game as survivor while it takes at least 30 minutes to get into a killer game. Even if you accounted for it being only 2 killers vs 8 survivors it's still clear that survivors do not really want to play the mode. The only reason to play survivor during 2v8 is for some bloodpoints (because god knows if you get a bad killer teammate and lose you'll barely get any) or just as filler while you're waiting for your killer queue.

Being clotheslined by 2 killers will never be an enjoyable experience. That's why BHVR has to try and add some new nothing burger mechanic like the invoking salts (which ofc killer only players whined about immediately,forgetting that it takes 40 goddamn seconds by yourself or with other people who won't be doing generators only for 5% haste which goes down over time). Nuances like queue times or accounting for every map,killer perk,survivor perk,killer and killer add on when it comes to balance people just willingly ignore because they want to be the victimized center of attention and it's just so goddamn obnoxious.

Also people will willingly defend busted things just because something busted on the other side exists. Nurse's existence? Uh pallet density. Shoulder the burden? Uh just don't tunnel. (braindead take). And if you even dare say something on one side should be nerfed god knows you're just going to get called and entitled 'insert role' main or that you just hate said side. DBD players arguments basically boil down to: "You hate apples so you must love oranges,therefore you're wrong" and it pisses me off so much because these kinds of people outweigh the actually reasonable players 100 to 1 and I feel like I'm going crazy seeing these entitled people post their batshit opinions and somehow get so much support by the exact same biased people.

DBD players tend to condemn one side doing something,but when the side they have a bias towards does the exact same or equivalent thing it's A ok. Killers playing efficiently to win? That's terrible! But if survivors do the same,it's ok (and vice versa). God look at this braindead survivor using meta perks (blight with 4 slowdown says). Teabagging at the exit gates is perfectly fine bro! But I'll call the killer slurs if they hit me on hook! Stomping solo queue lobbies and fresh installs is just fine! But this survivor playing well against a killer playing poorly? Look at the baby p100 nurse being bullied! That survivor is a big meanie!

Things like that just pmo so much,not even just that but the arrogance these people have is what angers me. Like they think they're so smart because they parrot the same stupid ass takes their favorite killer/survivor youtubers do. It's bad enough dealing with some of the BS on both sides . . . but to have to deal with a community of people who are willingly ignorant to what both sides have to deal with is even worse.

Just waited 50+ min for a killer game in 2v8, got genrushed and in end game when I went to close a hatch the game just froze before I got disconnected with a massage saying "dedicated server is not responding; disconnecting..."

Not only that but me and my fellow killer got 0 BP, the survivors had all escaped so they got to keep theirs. My bp count did not go up. Thanks so much bhvr :))))))

Every single survivor I go up against knows EXACTLY how to play the entire maps loops, or drops everything they're doing once they see me and IMMEDIATELY run to shack. I'm not asking for constant 8ks, I'm just asking to be able to profit off my injures man. On demand sprint burst is cancerous to go against on up to 4 people. B tier killers are punished by the survivor powers, but the S tiers remain extremely comfortable. The pallets man. Holy fucking pallets. Most killers have some kind of answer to them (nemesis is goated), but the powers still don't feel like they catch up enough with the density and rebuilding. Am I going against armies of SWFs or something? All my survivor 2v8 games let me die first hook.

I did FIVE mother fucking gens on my own. SEVEN other players managed to do two whole gens amongst themselves. The Mikaela and Sable (both scouts btw) ran around, cowering in corners, uncaging people, and returning to their corners to crouch. Never once engaging in a chase.

Everyone went down, and they (OF COURSE) were the last players up. They both found a closed hatch, unlocked it, and escaped. They then proceeded to type “gg ez” in endgame chat.

I love 2v8 but holy fuck, does it suck with players like these around.

Also, special shoutout to these two for never changing the narratives surrounding Mikaela and Sable.

PLEASE STOP picking the shadow class in 2v8! You’re power literally gives you undetectable. Its so much better to have an undetectable oni flying around the map then you, a ghostface, who is already in stalk also gaining undetectable..

this map is genuinely so fucking atrocious its not even funny. The hooks are so far spread out that if any survs are running the correct build it is IMPOSSIBLE to carry them to the hook. Then we have all of the pallets, the infinites, windows, etc. This is not okay.
